The home was just as listed! Very conveniently located with beautiful surroundings. Very quiet & peaceful. We were lucky enough to enjoy some of the snow while we were there! Deborah was quick to respond & very friendly to work with! Would highly recommend this property!

My brothers, sisters, and their spouses traveled to Belhaven to visit our brother and his wife who lived nearby. The house was perfect for our group of eleven. The house and cottage had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This was our second stay at this lovely cabin—it’s a very special place with so many eclectic and artistic touches, and with its own little entrance to Springer’s Point.

We had a much needed, peaceful, regenerative stay! Celia and her husband were gracious hosts and were always quick to answer any questions we had. The area was easy to walk/bike around and the kayaks and paddle boards were a nice touch! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

My family and I felt right at home in this cozy cottage. Great location, loved the privacy and porch. The beds slept great, nice liens and kitchen was equipped great to cook with. We will be back. Jennifer was fast and informative the entire time. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with our family.

Well where do I start. First let me say it was everything and then some. The great outdoors was so much fun and adventurous. The stay was very comfortable. The location was all of that. It was right on the river. Riz even let us take his boat out on the river. Which turned out to be a great adventure in its self. Saw dolphins while we were on the water. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway and have love for the outdoors. We will definitely be returning. If your looking for views, serenity, or an adventure this is the place 10/10 WILL DEFINITELY DO AGAIN!!!

My family and I had to travel to Belhaven to attend my aunt’s funeral service. I can honestly say this house was the best property I’ve ever stayed it. Immaculately clean, beautiful setting on the marina, and Donna (the host) was so accommodating! She made everything so much easier for my family and were so thankful. You will not be disappointed. Also, make sure you are able to catch the sunrise and sunset over the river in front of the house. The view and sounds of the waves will make you love the house even more!

Our stay at Morning Glory was so enjoyable. I could not get over the breathtaking views! Every night we enjoyed the cool crisp air under the picturesque sky full of stars. It was so peaceful and quiet. All you could hear was the soft lapping of water and the breeze. In the morning we enjoyed the sunshine coming up over the water. We were so lucky to see otters fishing and swimming. We enjoyed fishing off the dock as well. The view was spectacular. The house is beautiful decorated and very cozy beds. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare a thanksgiving feast. We loved being unplugged and playing all the board games and enjoying each other’s company at this lovely home. Debbie is an excellent host. We hope to stay here again.

If you’re looking to getaway and enjoy everything Hyde county has to offer then I cannot recommend this place enough. Beautiful and spacious, as well as convenient to all fishing and boating accesses. Great host.
