Hydra : locations de maisons de vacances

Comment dire, si vous recherchez la quiétude, le repos, le soleil, une très belle vue sur la mer ,un jacuzzi pour la détente , dans une ville charmante, cette maison cycladique vous charmera comme elle nous a charmé ! Sue est une hôte accueillante, agréable et réactive . On ne peut que recommander ce petit coin de paradis !

We were in Hydra for a friend's wedding/honeymoon and had the pleasure of staying here. The villa is spectacular, set across 4 different levels, its great for friends/family staying together who want some privacy. Views from the different terraces are stunning. the pool was fresh (Mid-Sept) but great to dive into having walked up the steps. Great book collections for holiday reads etc. Shops with all basic needs are around 2-3 min walk away. I only met Daniela briefly but she was on hand for anything we needed and have us a heads up when the gardener / cleaner was coming in.

This was our second stay at Marc’s place and it continued to meet our requirements for quiet, comfortable and spacious accommodation in Hydra. The accommodation is located on the flatter area of the village, just before it gets too steep. It is far enough away from the centre to avoid the crowds and night time noise, yet close enough to walk there in a few minutes. Like many Greek villages, the house may not be suited for those with mobility issues. The house itself has a number of steps and the approaching laneways are cobbled which can make dragging luggage a bit awkward (although using one of the local baggage trolley operators can address the latter issue). As the description indicates, it has a large outdoor area and the plunge pool is great if you need to cool off on a hot day. Even though it’s surrounded by other buildings Marc’s place is very private. We found Marc’s place to be perfect for our needs and would happily recommend it to others.

Fantastic villa. Great base to explore the island. Watching the sunset from the pool was amazing. The villa is extremely well setup & very private. The hosts were responsive, accommodating & relaxed in that island way. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Highly recommend.

Amazing house with greats views, really quite and peaceful. Loved the yard and the pool. Dimitris was really polite and responsive to every request we had and the service in general was to the point.

We loved Elena's place. It has a lot of charm, it is well designed and thought through. It has all that one can need, in a beautiful environment, with lots of things to do. Thanks a lot Elena for letting us stay in such a nice place.

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful villa again, it was everything as expected and more, we had a wonderful time and the villa a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy the beautiful Poros. Mandy was lovely and available if needed. Thank you again hopefully we'll be back .

The place with the best views in Poros. The house is amazing and has absolutely all the comforts for a family. It's wonderful to see the sunrise and moonrise from the comforts of your bed and to have dinner on the wonderful terrace. Extremely hospitable hosts who, in a crisis situation we had during our vacation were ready to help us immediately. We loved it so much that we travelled all the way back to Poros next year just to be in this wonderful place again.

Looking forward to coming back. Yiannis was wonderful host and always available if I needed anything. He kindly helped me with my luggage to and from the port. The location was perfect. Tucked away on a quiet street, yet very close to the port, shops and restaurants. Easy 5 minute walk to the swimming platforms. The patio was huge and had gorgeous views of the water and town. Highly recommend.

Maria heeft er werkelijk alles aan gedaan om ons een fijn verblijf te geven. Zoals ons ophalen in de haven, advies geven over de ferry (er was een staking), heerlijke verse cake en soep gemaakt, een rondleiding door het dorpje Perdika gegeven en hulp bij het boeken van een huurauto. Het appartement is werkelijk prachtig gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Maria en Nikolas, dank jullie wel!

Lovely place! Nice big balcony and very welcome air con. The walk up the hill isn’t too hard so don’t be put off. Internet speed leaves a little to be desired.

Such great hosts and the apartment was just exactly as described. The area is a couple of minutes away from all the best spots but is tucked on a quiet street so it's peaceful when time to rest.

La vista es increible a la isla de Poros, las dos terrrazas te permiten disfrutar de la mejor vista de Poros, la vivienda se encuentra en la parte alta de Galatas, zona muy tranquila y sin vecinos cerca. Maria es una persona excepcional, tiene la casa con todo tipo de detalles,siempre esta predispuesta, nos indico playas, puntos turisticos, restaurantes. Siempre predispuesta ha ayudarte, para hacer que nuestra estancia fuese los mas agradable posible. Recomendamos este alojamiento sin dudarlo. Everything about the house is magical. We loved the old architecture, the location, proximity to swimming, everything. You need to know that it's quite an upward journey from the port, so be ready to climb about 300 steps in total to get to the house. The good thing is that there are mules available to take your bags and you can take your time on the cute walk up. There is a nice mini supermarket about 8 minutes walking from the house, excellent restaurants and swimming only 5 minutes away. The views are breathtaking. We absolutely loved it and area already excited about coming back next year!

We had a wonderful week at Mandy's house. The location is unbeatable—just 50 meters from a stunning beach in a peaceful, green area where you can hear the soothing sound of the sea. The view from the house is breathtaking. The pool is fantastic, with a shallow section that's perfect for kids (just be sure not to jump in there!). The house was spotlessly clean and had plenty of space for two families with small children. Mandy was incredibly helpful, providing excellent tips and recommendations. A big thank you to Rana, the housekeeper, who greeted us and was always there to assist when needed.

This was my fourth visit to Hydra, but first time needing lodging for five. My 28 year old son and three of his childhood buddies were joining us, so we needed: ample sleeping quarters, a killer view, a large table for group meals, nooks for alone time, and finally that unknown quality of adventure. Dimitris's home has all of this and more. The photos of the interior are exactly as shown, but the views from the gardens, and terrace... a camera simply cannot capture the beauty and grandeur. Sure, it is a bit of a climb to get there, but so are any of the homes with views such as this. I especially liked how the compound is really two separate buildings. One with dining, living room, kitchen, upstairs terrace and one bedroom. And the joining building sleeping quarters and bathrooms. Perfect when a few of your group are ready to retire, and a few want to stay up, laugh and play cards! From the moment you enter the front door you think... now this is Hydra!

5eme séjour à hydra et de loin la maison la plus agréable que j’ai pu louer. Véritable maison de vacances, qui dégage de bonnes ondes. L’emplacement un peu en retrait assure une grande tranquillité. Terrasse avec vue sur mer et jardin clos très agréables. Épicerie proche pour les courses du quotidien. Kamini et port d’Hydra à une dizaine de minutes de marche. Très bonne sélection de livres et vinyl par ailleurs !

We very much enjoyed our stay at Konstantinos’s house. The location is in many ways ideal- close enough to the port to make everything convenient but just removed enough to feel quiet and private. This is clearly the home of a cultivated family, with a collection of books and objects that suggest a refined eye. The house may not be for everyone: there are very steep interior stairs (which don’t have to be used), and no stand-up shower. But otherwise it was a comfortable and pleasant place with a real sense of special-ness.

We loved this beautiful house and hosts so very much. It was a little slice of heaven, close to walk to the bay to swim and sit in the sun. We loved walking and it was always so lovely to come 'home' at the end of the day. Hosts were absolutely delightful.

Notre séjour a été excellent. Notre hôte étant malade, nous ne l'avons pas vu mais la communication par mail a été excellente. Le logement est très bien placé, à 5 minutes à pieds d'une plage très peu fréquentée, voire déserte, et accessible facilement. C'est un vrai luxe. Le logement est très bien, avec la climatisation toujours très agréable en plein été. Les suggestions de notre hôte ont été très utiles pour tout. Notre arrivée a été retardée par la route et notre hôte s'est adapté constamment. Le départ a été très facile. Nous recommandons cette location.
