Islande : locations de vacances en chambre d'hôtes

Ravis d'avoir choisi la maison de Birgir pour notre séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Birgir est toujours prêt à donner des infos sur son pays ainsi que des conseils. Nous reviendrons sans hésitations et recommandons.

Tina and Torfi are truly warm people who love to welcome others into their B and B and into their lives. The units are a part of the house and there is always a very welcoming, happy atmosphere and much humor and discussion. The bedrooms and shared bathrooms are very tidy and comfortable and clean, especially the bathrooms. For folks wanting to be off the beaten path and looking for relatively cheap lodging, you won't find a better jumping off point than Freyja! Tina and Torfi also are extremely helpful with local sightseeing tips and we went almost everywhere they sent us, much to our satisfaction. This includes some places not known about wisely by tourists. All in all a great experience!

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und hatten das Anwesen für uns alleine. Die Nutzung der Sauna und des Kaminofens ist toll. Die Fußbodenheizung im Aufenthaltsraum war sehr angenehm. Es wurde extra Frühstück für uns bereitgestellt (Brot, Müsli, frisches Obst, Joghurt etc.). Von Egilsstadir benötigt man ca. 30 Minuten, dafür ist der Ausblick in die Natur herrlich. Klare Empfehlung!

We were there for only one night. It was too short, we would have liked to stay there longer 😊. Perfect place before going back home. It’s the only place in all our travel that food was provided (extra from the traveler or basic stuff for cooking from them). It very practical. Thank you very much!

We were welcomed by Andrés' son Christian. He helped us bring our luggage to our rooms. He showed us the amenities, the kitchen, and some nice surrounding spots to visit. He also talked a bit about the history of the farm and the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. We were even allowed to use the microwave in the family's home to heat up our dinner. It was very thoughtful of Christian to remind us again of the approaching sunset with all its colors (even greenish), which is also his inspiration for his art. All in all a nice experience.

Everything was just perfect. Very nice room and bathroom and we had also opportunity to use laundry what we really appreciated because all our stuff was completely wet (raining whole day). Inga and her husband were so nice and helpful and also gave us some tips what to visit. Breakfast was very good. Thank you so much!

great accomdation close to Myvatn. Easy to access. well sized with good bathroom, very comfy bed and breakfast included. I managed to see the northern lights there which made this stay even more special.

Malheureusement le temps ne nous a pas permis de dormir dans la tente… la solution de replis était très confortable pour autant!

Very nice, clean and quiet private room

Beautiful big and luminous rooms, super helpful information all around the house, close to a village where you can buy groceries and go to the local thermal pool, the cutest dogs ever and fluffy Icelandic horses around. Not to mention the fact that we had hot cocoa, tea and cookies available to us all afternoon in the kitchen. And the breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Full of tasty homemade stuff. Best place we have been in in Iceland. I was so sad to stay for only one day!

Great stay in this cabin near the lake. There’s a little table with twi chairs facing the lake and your garden is literally a lava field. The room is nice and cosy and the location is perfect, close to all the major sites.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Supernette, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. In allen Belangen alles top. Diese Unterkunft gehörte zu den Besten der 11 Unterkünfte, die wir in 13 Tagen hatten. Also, kommen und geniessen!

We stayed here for a second time after our trip around iceland. The host was very kind and helpful again. Also the room was comfortable and the common area is equipped with everything you need. Would totally recommend this accommodation.

One of our best experiences on Airbnb. I highly recommend stopping in the north of the island. The welcome is incredible. The hosts are so kind. The accommodation is warm and extremely clean and for now our favorite Breakfast in Iceland. Many thank for everything!
