Excellent séjour ! On a eu un peu de difficulté à trouver dans la nuit le chalet mais on a réussi. Excellent emplacement pour les aurores boréales ! Et un plaisir de voir des chevaux au petit matin juste à côté.

Svitlana è stata gentilissima, al nostro arriva ci ha spiegato con attenzione tutto e ci ha lasciato un piatto di pancake con una marmellata buonissima! L’alloggio facile da trovare, immerso nel silenzio e abbiamo anche visto l’aurora boreale. Grazie per tutto!

Coup de cœur pour ce grand logement, cosy, décoration à la fois traditionnelle et moderne, un lit bébé au top, un logement super pour rayonner dans snaefelsness à mi chemin entre Stykkishólmur et Grundafjordur. Notre fils a adoré donner à manger aux beaux moutons avec Gudlaug. Nous recommandons aux familles (équipement adaptés, jouets, tout y est !).

The house is located in a spacious and quiet area, making it a perfect getaway for relaxation. The surroundings are peaceful, and the sunset views are absolutely stunning. Since it's far from city lights, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights right from the house—an unforgettable experience!

Das Appartement war sehr schön und gemütlich. Wir fühlten uns vor beginn an wie zu Hause und genossen die Ruhe auf dem Land sehr. Tolle Lage für Ausflüge zum Golden Circle und weitere Orte. Würde sofort wieder buchen.

Louise foi extremamente simpática. Deixou um recado escrito à mão e um chocolate de boas vindas. Também havia um caderno de instruções e dicas locais. O ambiente é realmente aconchegante, espaço ideal para 4 pessoas. A cozinha é muito bem equipada com todas as ferramentas necessárias para se realizar um bom jantar. Louise sempre fica à disposição dos hospedes. Gostaria de ter ficado mais dias. Estou definitivamente encantada. Obrigada, Louise!

Séjour merveilleux ! L’endroit est féerique: isolé tout en étant facilement accessible et dans un cadre magnifique ! Les grandes fenêtres nous ont permis d’observer le ciel et de voir les aurores boréales au chaud. Un vrai luxe, surtout avec des enfants.

We had a fantastic stay at this farmhouse! The space was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. A highlight of our visit was getting to play with the adorable Icelandic Sheepdog in the morning! We also got to see the northern lights very vividly right from the property, which made our stay even more magical. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit the stables to see the horses and sheep, but that’s definitely on our list for next time. This is a perfect place to stay for anyone visiting Iceland, and we highly recommend it. We’d love to come back!

Wonderful farmhouse with plenty of bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and great views. We loved the horse and sheep! Easy to find with instructions. Bathrooms are a little small but manageable. Very gracious host with clear communications. I would recommend this welcoming home.

Wir waren zwei Nächte zu dritt in dieser Unterkunft. Das Cottage liegt außerhalb von Selfoss mitten in den Feldern. Es ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und der vorhandene Platz optimal genutzt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Für zwei Personen perfekt, für drei vielleicht etwas eng. Sigrùn war eine super Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns rechtzeitig vorab kontaktiert, um Details zu klären und uns nützliche Informationen mitzugeben. Wir haben uns wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung!

Really nice house near farms in a rural setting close to Egilsstadir and other great spots. We really enjoyed seeing the horses on the way in and there is no light pollution here for the Northern Lights. The house was clean and spacious and we had a great time as a family here. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a treasure of an airbnb. The pictures are great but it's even more beautiful in real life. We stayed two nights in winter when it had -13 degrees. The hot tub, pool and sauna were extremely nice! We were lucky and saw the northern lights two nights in a row. We had an amazing stay!

The house has absolutely amazing sea view and we saw a seal swimming in the ocean! Surely recommend!

We really love the Farm house. The view is so amazing and we are lucky to watch the Aurora from the house! Love the sunset and sunrise . Just nice for the six of us. The house is cozy and warm and got everything that you need. Though it’s a bit ‘out of the map’ but it is really worth it. The clear instruction really make it easy to find. Horses and sheep nearby is really a surprise for us Highly highly recommended and wish that we will be visiting again!

This is the most beautiful place we stayed at in Iceland. It is very peaceful and the view is amazing. If the sky is clear you can see the borealis perfectly, since there are no lights around.

Die Ferienwohnung von Fjola hat eine wunderschöne private Lage nahe Borgarnes. Der Strand und die Klippen laden sehr zu einem Spaziergang ein, unsere Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wegen der Tiere und der heimeligen Umgebung. Fjola ist eine sehr freundliche und warmherzige Gastgeberin!

This is one of the most beautiful and comfortable Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! Really enjoyed our time here as a group of 11 - lots of basic little things that made it super welcoming and homey eg many towels, little bits in the kitchen, underfloor heating, excellent manual and comms, clear hot tub instructions, etc. thank you for an unforgettable birthday!

We had an amazing stay as a family of 4. Our kids (13 & 11) loved the loft bedroom and swapped halfway through the week to stay upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked and super functional. The views were amazing and the hot tub was lovely (super hot! Had to take the cover off and let it cool off a little). The beds were comfortable, the kids claimed on the first day that they had the best shower of their lives - we all loved the rain shower head. Maria Kristin was so nice and flexible with checkin and checkout times. She also really cared that we were well and having a pleasant stay. One thing that surprised us was the bumpy road to the house - but if you take it slow and avoid the pot holes you’re ok. The house is super close to the Fontana hot springs and the kids loved even more than the blue lagoon. Also an easy drive to geysir as well as the national park. Saw northern lights last night- wow! Great location! 100% recommend to anyone wanting a cozy stay in Iceland!

A very cozy house, super well-equipped, the sauna and hot pot were sensational! The location right in front of Kirkjufell Mountain is unbeatable, we even got to see the Northern Lights! The rent for the house is quite high, but worth every cent and highly recommended!
