I stayed for several weeks and it was a strong, positive experience. Natalia is a friendly, easy-going host. Check-In and Out were smooth. She was open to conversation about various topics, talkative, but not intrusive. She happily shared information about Icelandic culture and things to see or to do in Reykjavik. There was no problem to find a common day-to-day routine in kitchen etc. Her apartment is cozy and its position is just perfect - the best swimming pool in the city is a ~10 mins walk away, the Sculpture & Shore Walk with mighty ocean waves right behind the house, and although there is a bus stop nearby, it is possible to get to the city center on foot, too. Neighborhood is calm and safe with nothing to disturb one's sleep or nightly northern lights hunt. I highly recommend Natalia and her place.

Krisztina’s place was perfect for our first few days in town. We luckily arrived just in time to meet Krisztina at the apartment and she was able to give us incredible food and travel recommendations! The apartment was perfectly located and was surrounded by great restaurants and coffee shops. And, if you have a car with you, there is a free lot just down the street by the pier. We loved our time and hope to be back!

Beautiful little apartment, excellent location, very clean and organized. Great location; lots of places to go hiking/running/biking nearby. If it is open for your visit, go check out Tjoruhusid, excellent fish restaurant.

Oh we absolutely loved this darling little place. Very cozy especially in winter. Felt like our own little cozy cave. Very walkable to groceries, restaurants, so close to airport and Blue Lagoon. Highly recommend for a visit to SW peninsula of Iceland.

Nice and spacy apartment, perfect for 3-4 persons with fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom and cosy living room. nice location - easy to take day trips in this region. the only thing we missed was some space to hang/store clothes in the bedrooms.

We stayed for almost a week in this very big house which has everything you will need for excellent stay Thank you Edith it was a fenomenal stay i really liked the man cave with all the games , would surely recommend this place to anyone!

A computer glitch deleted our original pre-paid booking at a place which we reserved 5 months prior in Blönduós, and we were scrambling to find lodging. Fortunately, Gunnar was able to accommodate us last-minute at his recently renovated historical home in Sauðárkrókur. The kitchen has modern appliances and the twin mattresses were high quality and comfortable. The house is located walking distance from local restaurants and I enjoyed looking at the fjord from the windows.

Exceptional home, the nicest of our 4 trips to Iceland. Located in a quiet and convenient suburb 10 minutes from downtown Reykjavik with shopping, restaurants, walking trails and playgrounds nearby. Very clean and comfortable with a large deck in the backyard and extra TV room downstairs. Host provided helpful advice for the local area.

Fantastic family accommodation. Beautiful views & stylish but practical interior. Lots for kids to do inside the house (for bad weather days!). Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again if we come back to Iceland in the future!

The nicest, cleanest and cosiest place I have ever stayed! Staying here felt luxurious, comfy beds, very warm and just lovely. I can’t recommend enough if you are visiting Iceland to book this air BnB as your accommodation, Valdimar is very friendly and it was easy to check in. I cannot fault this place, if we visit Iceland again, we will definitely be booking here! 5 stars!! :)

An amazing place! I must say, the actual space was even more amazing than I imagined! Everything in the house is fully equipped and thoughtfully prepared. The arrangement of the furniture and the decoration of the interior are in excellent taste—it is obvious that much thoughts has focused into every detail. Thanks to the owner for renting this house to us.
