What’s an absolutely beautiful family home . We felt right at home here . so much that I didn’t want to come back home to England :( very spacious decorated lovely . It was the middle of winter and it was extremely warm for us as well. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and lots of treats left for us . Thankyou nothing was a problem . looked after the family Cat who was absolutely delightful And no trouble at all . Very close to everything supermarket round the corner, got everywhere very easy was really sad to leave. Would definitely love to come back one day. Thankyou so much xxx

An awesome country side quiet retreat with farm animals around. Loved waking up to the cooing of hens. The views were beautiful. Host is extra nice and sweet, welcoming us with home made chocolate cake. We loved and appreciated the fresh fruits, farm eggs, milk and various jams. Home was very cozy and comfortable for 3 couples and a kid. Definitely recommend staying.

The house was perfect for our needs (we are a family of 7)- even big! Kitchen was great and the location was beautiful! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment! We loved the accommodations , the location and the communication we had with the hosts. Emma and Oskar were very friendly and responsive to all our needs! We would definitely recommend this apartment to all our friends and family. Hopefully we can return again some day too!

We loved our stay at Gudrun Maria’s place!! We were two families staying together for a total of nine people. We rented the whole guest house. It has beautiful character throughout, many interesting books to enjoy and the location cannot be beat!! We watched the fireworks for New Year’s Eve which were amazing and a short walk from the house. Always got a timely and helpful response from both owners!

Enjoyable and very good experience

The house on the lake was absolutely stunning! All of the furnishings and bedding were comfortable and the common areas were perfect for our group of 7 to hang out, play games, and just chat. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. The VIEWS and setting are just unbeatable. Every bedroom has a view of the beautiful lake. We very much enjoyed our time at the house.

The place is spacious, stylish and cozy! Communication was very timely as well. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely stay for our family with younger kids. It had plenty of space, multiple bedroom options, well-stocked kitchen with some basic dried food supplies, too. The view down to the harbor was very pretty and we could see aurora from the kitchen windows! The geothermal hot tub was also a great feature, but as they mention, it takes about 30 minutes to fill so do plan ahead. Location was convenient for a day trip around the snaefellesnes. We would happily stay again!

If you are looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in Reykjavik, this is the place for you. Great amenities including a large back yard, large living space with a Smart TV and playstation, and a fireplace. Kitchen with everything needed to cook for yourself and avoid the pricey Reykjavik Restaurant scene. Located on a quiet street with easy access to the highway (rental car recommended for sure).

Soggiornare da Tolli è stata un’esperienza veramente incredibile, parte fondamentale del viaggio in Islanda. Non un semplice posto in cui dormire, ma un luogo per godersi il paesaggio e dei momenti piacevoli con i miei amici. La casa è davvero fighissima, l’architettura molto accattivante. Andare via è stato difficile. Grazie Tolli!!

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Host was very responsive, we reached our accoms pretty late but they were still very helpful with the check-in process. Although the keys were missing when we were there, they came in a few mins to help us with the door. As the door is autolocked from the inside, there was once we locked ourselves outside was catching the northern lights, the host actually sent someone to help us get back in in no time! Thank you so much for the great accommodation, it was a short bit definitely a good one! We all slept well 💕🤣

This place is an absolute gem! We spent thoroughly enjoyed this secluded home. The hot tub was perfect for enjoying an evening outside. The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy. Everything was wonderful.

We have stayed at Philip's place several times during our particiation in Fossavatn ski week. Philip has been very quick to respond to any questions. A very friendly, welcoming and helpful host.

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

Great place with lovely views

Wir waren zu Zweit von Montag bis Samstag in der Unterkunft von Thordur. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und es war wunderbar. Die Unterkunft war sauber und als wir eine Frage hatten, hat Thordur sofort Antwort gegeben. Er hat uns sogar weitere Informationen, für das Glück, Nordlichter zu sehen, gegeben. Der Hotpod war super und die Gegend wunderbar, um viel Natur zu sehen. Wir hatten sogar Besuch von Krummi (Raven). Herzlichsten Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir würden sofort wieder bei Thordur buchen.

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Helena was warm, friendly and extremely helpful before we arrived and her house was simply wonderful. Clean, tidy, plenty of space and every bit as welcoming as Helena. The house felt really authentic and was a perfect base from which to explore this amazing country. We felt very much at home during our stay and we loved looking after Freyja (the cat). Helena left clear instructions as to how to navigate the house as well as lovely ideas for excursions. She contacted us ahead of our visit to send us information and replied to any of our queries straight away. We loved our time in Iceland and amongst all of our highlights of places we visited, returning home to Helena's house each evening was absolutely one of them. A very beautiful home and we feel lucky to have found such a gorgeous place to stay. Tim and Claire xx

Awesome location and great home. We had an amazing time!

Clean and beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The place felt remote but was near enough to Selfoss to make grocery shopping and eating out very convenient. The house was immaculate, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We were able to watch the northern lights from the beautiful deck and we were able to interact with the sweet horses on our way to and from the property. Edda was very communicative and explained everything very well. We would definitely stay here again!
