Good place to stay.. Near the beach

This was my first visit to Kerala with my family, and I was searching for a friendly place to stay. I turned to Airbnb and, after a few searches, discovered a beautiful river-facing apartment hosted by Amruth. I booked it right away and had a chat with Amruth, who was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit. His excellent local knowledge of restaurants and attractions was a huge help. The apartment itself is conveniently located in Aluva, just 20-25 minutes from Kochi airport. It’s spacious, clean, and set in a stunning environment overlooking the river—truly a home away from home. On top of that, Amruth’s friendly demeanor and trustworthy recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a safe and peaceful accommodation for family or friends. Thank you once again, Amruth!

We are a family of 7 and recently visited Kodaikanal. We were looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay, and we found Jarcanda Villa. It was the perfect place for our family! The villa is a beautiful vintage property that is very well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped, making sure we felt at home. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the breathtaking views. The host was incredibly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. One of the highlights was the barbecue – it was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend everyone try it. The campfire experience in Kodaikanal’s cool climate was unforgettable and really added a special touch to our trip. While a few things in the bathroom could use some attention, these minor negatives are completely overshadowed by the positives of the property. We highly recommend Jarcanda Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable getaway!!!

The host and the manager welcomed us properly. The host gave us early check-in which helped us a lot. The food from the local kitchen (home made food) is of little expensive but the taste if by far the best in the town. I would surely come and stay for sure and will recommend the villa.

It was a beautiful stay around the nature. My family enjoyed it. Host was really helpful and friendly. Most recommended place to stay with family.. Since it’s bit outer girls alone can be bit careful.. with family it’s a great option

We had a relaxing staycation. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare full-course Tamil meals effortlessly for three days. Enjoying coffee by the lake was a truly serene experience. Lucy and her husband, Jojo, are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts.

We (2 couples) stayed here over the new years , and had taken a 2bhk villa. The airbnb is located in Vilpatti, a very peaceful village / neighbourhood very close to GRT property. Its a nice neighborhood to walk around in. Ragini aunty was an amazing host, very responsive, friendly and helpful. She made us feel at home right away. The property looks even better than the pictures. They have a beautiful glass sun deck of sorts which has a great view. The rooms are really well designed and thoughtful, all the interiors look really new and modern. The kitchen has an induction stove. Outside there are a couple of ponds, garden with variety of plants, place to sit and also a bonfire place. The caretakers are a couple - and the food was prepared by them. We had a great spread for dinner of roti, rice, 2 veggies, chicken curry, dal etc. You can also request them to make starters etc. It was the most beautiful and magical place to begin the new year. Highly highly recommend this property.
