Great location and lovely view of the lake. Great communication by the host. We had a nice snow storm while we were there and the fire kept us warm and cozy. We were able to cross country ski on the lake, very cool and beautiful!

Darren is a great host, and this is a great place! He had plenty of great recommendations in the area, so we always had something to do. The lake itself is super pretty and very tranquil. Would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful comfortable place to stay! Only issue was code provided did not open the door when we arrived. Had to wait in driveway for about 30 minutes for a reply but once we got in everything was great! Would rent again!

Our stay was great! A group of friends and I plan a ski trip to the North East every year. Priyanka was very responsive and made our check in, stay, and checkout very easy. With a big storm coming the day of our arrival, Priyanka even let us check in early (the day before)! We will absolutely consider returning next year!

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

This was a great place for 4+ people. It was nice to have the 2 bedrooms on a different floor. The space near the door to organize all the ski/snowboard equipment and apparel was perfect. It was an easy walk to restaurants and stores. I didn’t get to use the deck because of the cold but it looks like a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view. Overall it was a nice and cozy place.

We stayed at this lovely location for our first family ski trip - 3 young kids and grand parents. Lots of space for everyone to relax. The location is great, a short walkable distance to the water park, easy to get to the magic carpet to zip the kids to the chair lift and off to ski school. The beds were very comfortable and linens soft! Made for a perfect landing spot after a busy day.

The cottage feels like home! It is fully stuffed from beer in the fridge and teas selection to Apple TVs connected to all TVs with Netflix accounts. Has everything you need for your stay and more. You can park right next to the entrance, so easy to move your stuff inside.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I’m unsure why I didn’t picture the lake being covered in snow for a February stay but it certainly was. Which didn’t ruin our stay at all as the view was still beautiful. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. I would have liked if the deck was completely shoveled so we could go outside with tea some mornings but I guess with how much snow there was this was not feasible. The hot tub only got warm to me even at 105 degrees it wasn’t burning hot just rather warm. I think that’s simply due to how cold it is in Quebec. The house layout was different I’m not accustomed to sleeping on different floors from my children so that was an adjustment. I checked on them multiple times throughout the night. Lastly we were presented with an offer to extend our stay at a discounted rate but did not hear back from the host as he was traveling, which seemed like a missed opportunity considering how much we enjoyed the space.
