I had a weeks placement at the Barnstaple hospital. It was about a 20 - 25 minute walk so perfect distance and a nice fresh wake up in the mornings. The house was a perfect base to commute to and from. No real issues during stay - took a few attempts to open the front door when I arrived and sort the heating but other than that perfect. Bethany answered any questions quickly and promptly. If I have any more placements up in Barnstaple I will definitely stay here again.

Amazing property, amazing views, beautiful overall just a beautiful trip with a home away from home just making it that much better! Would note that in the information book left in the property, says no dogs upstairs which was difficult as it didn’t mention this on house rules on here .. also might want to look at a mat in the wet room as very slippery when wet! And be careful coming out of the drive if you have a lower car haha but nothing that takes away from this place, will hopefully be back very soon!! Thank you very much :)

Second time we’ve stayed in one of the lodges and it was better then I remember so peaceful and Pollyanna is an amazing host helping us out with a high chair and cot for our baby!

We booked the accommodation for a family get together of three generations. There was plenty of space, board games, TV’s, to suit everyone! Added bonus of hot tub which was fab! Enclosed garden for our dog to run around, she loved it. Plenty of kitchen equipment/ utensils , nothing was forgotten. In essence Brilliant!

This accommodation was a really lovely place to stay. A very good size (we were there with 3 adults 2 children & a dog) every room in the house was a big size. The kitchen was very well equipped, we cooked two big family meals there with no problems. The under floor heating in the front room was a bonus to have & the bathrooms were good & clean. What made the property, was the view to the garden & countryside beyond. I loved sitting on the balcony off the front room or at the breakfast bar in the kitchen watching the geese landing on the lake below us. The hosts were lovely & helpful & even left us some nice things in the fridge to arrive to. We all so enjoyed our stay at this brilliant property.

A great place to stay. Very comfortable. Lots of crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. great friendly communication prior to our stay. Was the perfect location for us to see family over Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully.

Venetia was so incredibly accommodating to our recent stay in her wonderful holiday home. The house itself was beautifully built, incredibly spacious and very clean, it had real character! We are already talking about coming back again to enjoy the surroundings and peaceful home again. Thank you for being an excellent host and for opening your home for us to enjoy.

Wonderful place for a New Year’s Eve getaway. Ant and Amanda’s bolt hole was perfect….cosy, everything you could want or need and great location. They were very welcoming and always helpful. We would highly recommend their place at any time of the year

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the barn. The barn was perfect and well equipped for a family of 4. It’s surrounded by beautiful landscape and situated on a lovely farm. We also travelled out to a couple of beaches during our stay which didn’t take too long. I would recommend

Just had another great stay with Alison. The apartment was spotless as always. It is well equipped and Alison is such a great host. She is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask.

We’re a couple with a young baby - and we had a great one night stay! Sue and Martin’s place was exactly as described. It was warm, cosy and very clean. The bathroom was particularly spacious. They provided a high chair for our baby and even let us park our rather large van on their driveway. If the weather is dry, definitely walk up to the garden and summerhouse - it has an amazing view towards the sea! Would highly recommend.

The peaceful setting and aspect of this Cabin was magical. Where can you sit in a hot tub staring at the stars and hear owls and foxes? The firepit bbq is a joy to use - fundamentally basic and perfect for searing.

Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic stay in a lovely secluded part of Somerset/Devon. The cabin was gorgeous, cosy and homely. Haydn couldn't have been more friendly and open. It was a pleasure to stay, and we'll definitely be back.

just had lovely couple of nights at the cabin. Kate appeared as soon as we arrived and showed us round - she was friendly and welcoming and, because of the bad weather, had lit the fire for us so - and provided scones cream and jam, as well as tea coffee and sugar. The cabin was beautiful, quirky and cosy, spotlessly clean and very cosy. The immediate surroundings were beautifully maintained, private and secluded and the bad weather meant we were able to make good use of the wood burner! We had a great time and would be very happy to return to the cabin.

Me and my partner spent the weekend here, it had everything we need and more! Amazing views , very private but was right in middle of everything. Restaurants, beaches and villages were all within 10 minute driving distance. Simon was an amazing host responded to messages very quickly, checked in to make sure everything was okay. We will definitely be back!

What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.
