Awesome rustic getaway with modern amenities and great views!

Was a beautiful place to stay for the weekend. Definitely worth the visit!

This spacious home is in a beautiful and quiet location, and it's a quick drive to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park. There are also lots of fun activities in the home! Our only critique is the overpowering air freshener smell that was in every room, which is challenging for people with smell sensitivities. But overall, a gem!

Overall, it was a an easy check in process and clean property. No concerns with my 1 night stay.

This cabin is BEAUTIFUL. It was such a comfortable, cozy place to spend a few nights. The hot tub and sauna lived up to expectations and rhe game room in the basement was so fun. Everything was exactly as described and Kristin was such a helpful host. The entire experience was wonderful. Would definitely book again!

I travelled to Utica for an extended work trip and stayed 7 weeks at Tricia's cabin. I had a great time and was very satisfied with everything. I especially liked the kitchen which is very spacious and perfectly equipped. It is a quiet place in a beautiful location, right next to Starved Rock state park. Tricia is a great host and communicated clearly. I would return anytime and wholeheartedly recommend her place to everyone

We had a great stay! The place was clean and the surroundings were very peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the trails around the property. There was also easy access to trails on the adjacent park which were very private.

My family and I really had a great time while staying at Moms Place. The location, cozy feel and atmosphere were incredible. I highly recommend Mom's Place to anybody who is looking for that home away from home feeling. Our host was so good to us and very friendly! My family really enjoyed the views that we had while we were just lounging outside and playing basketball. My family and I look forward to our next stay at Moms Place!!

Great location ! Located between Chicago and St. Louis so about a 3 hour drive to get peace and quiet. Cabin appears to be newly built and the place is SPOTLESS !! 10 minute drive to Walmart or Kroger or if you prefer get some local good eats !! Also plenty of Firewood for us city slickers :)... Has a smoker and a Blackstone griddle that are really good. Only thing if one prefers , bring a charcoal grill if allowed ..?? Place was awesome !! Thank you Jennifer and siblings. 5 STARS !! We'll be going back !!

This was a perfect place for a quick getaway before the holiday craziness starts at work. Cute place, clean, great location and peaceful atmosphere. Quick drive to town. Parking was easy at the location. Really was happy that it’s pet friendly, my dog Jordan loved walking around the property. The decoration for Christmas is super cute. In all this place has become one of my favorite places for a little quick getaway. Definitely going back!

We had a wonderful stay for a quick little weekend getaway! Kristina was so helpful and responsive when we had some minor issues with check in. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and homey. The Lakeview was awesome, and the place felt very private. It was stocked with everything you could possibly imagine from shampoo, to snacks, down to a full first aid kit and thermometer. We never needed it, but it was a nice touch. I've never seen so many creature comforts in any other Air BnB. We really enjoyed our stay!

This place was great. There isn’t much around here to do, especially in the winter, but we were looking to mostly disconnect from the outside world for a week and this was great for that. Aside from laundry there is really is everything you need to live here full time including a fully stocked kitchen with various helpful appliances like a crock pot and toaster stashed away but accessible. Perfect for a few days or a full week! It was a little dusty in some spots but otherwise clean and well kept. Had a great time. Hoping to come back when the weather is warmer and take advantage of the lake!

awesome cabin to relax in

Jennifer and Chris are the best hosts! They are very friendly and responsive, feels like visiting family. Sweet Water Lodge is beautiful and very clean. We visited with 8 adults and 1 dog and had plenty of space. We fished and floated on the pond. We especially love the smoker, made some great ribs. We are already looking forward to our next visit, Thank you again for hosting us!
