The AirB&B location was in a quiet neighborhood. Everything inside the home was well put together. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The best airbnb we have ever experienced. So convienent, off street parking, extremely spacious and exceptionally clean. Two blocks from downtown was an extra bonus. We will definately be back. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful family getaway.

We (married couple) were very pleased with the "Cozy Home!" Location was convenient, place was immaculate and comfortable...it suited our needs very well. We felt safe there. The real bonus: Martha is a caring, conscientious host who truly went above and beyond for us, sharing her time and knowledge with us about an area to which we are considering a move... a huge life decision, and she was kind enough to help us gather information (she didn't even know us!!) She's very responsive and was friendly both online and in person. She's a 20 out of 10 in our book, and we would absolutely book this place again! Thank you, Martha, for helping make Anna and Keren's reconnaissance mission comfortable and worry-free!

This is an excellent getaway for anyone wanting to enjoy the beauty of Southern Illinois. The price point is great, its much better than a hotel. The washer and dryer is awesome, the kitchen is excellent and would allow someone who can cook to do about anything they want to do. The bedrooms looked great and the living space furniture was fine. I honestly never watched the tv, but it looked like a really nice big screen. Its in a rural spot with very little traffic and quiet, but your minutes away from Carbondale, a little farther down the road is Marion, both places have excellent dining and more city atmosphere. Crab Orchard NWR is almost the back yard.

My family and I stay at Toni's place when we return to Streator because it has everything we need and the location is perfect for us.

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time staying in the pink house. From the start, the host provided clear and thorough instructions, making it easy to find the place and check in. The home itself is beautifully decorated and perfectly organized, just like the pictures. Everything was spotless and ready for us, with thoughtful touches like snacks and drinks in the fridge. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the location couldn’t have been better—we were able to walk to several shops and restaurants while enjoying the lovely weather. The bed was super comfortable, the TV was great for unwinding, and overall, it felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be coming back!

Great place! In the Lincoln neighborhood so a bit far from downtown but locally convenient to a few trains that head downtown often. Cozy and warm! Very spacious, can fit 4! Angela was very kind and let us leave our bags after check out as we had a late flight. Would book again!

Jenny’s place was perfect for a weekend away! Multiple coffee shops within walking distance and an “L” stop. Perfect for two people. Very cozy. Jenny and her husband were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were a lot of keys to get in which was a little tricky, but she left great instructions and it wasn’t enough to make me not want to stay again, and it added to the security. This place will definitely be on our Chicago weekend list for the future.

The apartment is in a great location. There are many amazing walkable bars and restaurants. Then mostly a 15 minute Uber ride to areas like the bean, The Aquarium and so forth.

Erin’s place was amazing! So convenient and walkable. We were actually greeted by Caroline who was welcoming and so kind to us.There were snacks and drinks and wonderful banana bread! The apartment was spotless and very quiet at night. Thanks for the wonderful stay! We will be back!

Tatiana & Roupen’s place was an experience that went beyond just great hospitality – it felt like they genuinely cared about making sure everything was as smooth & stress-free as possible. From the start, their responsiveness stood out. We had a couple of requests before arriving – an early check-in and a change in dates – and both were handled quickly with a simple, “Sure, we’ll take care of it.” That might sound triial, but when you’re coordinating travel across time zones and juggling plans in a different country, those quick responses are a lifesaver. Check-out can be another tricky part of any stay: long lists of dos and don’ts, complicated instructions, or that pressure to leave everything spotless. T&R kept it refreshingly simple – just leave the towels in the bathroom & pop the dishes in the dishwasher. That’s it: no last-minute scrambling. All in all, a beautifully designed space that’s neat, clean, and full of thoughtful details where here everything just clicks!

Jodi was an incredible host--friendly, very helpful yet not intrusive--and the place was everything you could want and then some. Jodi was thoughtful enough to turn on the path lighting when i was out late. The place is very roomy, it's more like a one-bedroom apartment. You'll be glad if you choose this place to stay.

Wow! If you are broken, spiritually or just need a reset or a fixed balance M’s place is where you want to be. There’s so much to say about this place but I don’t want to spoil the surprises. I would say best part about this place is if you love tea you will love this place. This was a beautiful little sanctuary for us. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here what an honor to have such an incredible hosts. We drove 3 hours to come here. We drove 40 mins to go see the Morton Arboretum it was worth the drive and the time. This place is perfect for couples, so Earthy, welcoming and pleasant. To say she was just another AirBnB hostess would be understatement I would say she is now more of a friend. Her energy, the place and the energy there was just perfect for someone who is very spiritual and special it felt like a sanctuary. What a relaxing way to enjoy something so special.

Great stay, incredibly kind and welcoming hosts

Vikki has an absolutely beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay. Honestly, I never rent rooms… we prefer to rent an entire place but with the holidays there wasn’t much available so we decided to take a risk and rent a room from Vikki. Our stay exceeded our expectations on every level. Her rooms are mostly rented by medical professionals. The place is quiet and sparkling clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely vacation stay! The restoration of the church made this such a unique and fun experience. Excellent hosts.

The bedroom and bathroom are superb and well equipped (slippers, bathrobes, toiletries). The breakfast is delicious and very complete: eggs, muffins, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee… You feel at home with access to the living room, TV room, terrace We recommend 100% and can't wait to come back

Cal's place is a beautiful home and holds so much history. The place was clean and perfect to rest after a long trip. He is a great host!

Loved the carriage house! The hosts were very accommodating as we had family coming and leaving on slightly different schedules and they were able to meet all of us and meet our needs. My partner has specific dietary requirements and they met them quite cheerfully, making him a special plate with just what he needed. Overall an excellent experience.

We loved this place! The location is walking distance to downtown Galena. The room is large with a nice wet bar, large bathroom with a tub , and the bed was very comfy. The meal provided was waiting for us in our mini fridge and we just had to do a little prep in the morning, which meant we could go at our own pace...and it was delicious. Kate was very responsive and helpful. We loved the old house and all that came with it. I would recommend this spot to anyway spending a night or two in Galena.
