This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

Every year we visit Cypress there are more improves and amenities. Always a great stay and so much to do. Amanda and her team run this place like a well oiled machine. We visit once in the winter and once or twice in the summer. A favorite for sure.

We had a lovely stay. it's super cute, private, and quiet. we will definitely book again. there are 13 other cabins to chose from. We also enjoyed the town and near by venues. Cool place❣️

Clean, easy check in, no huge cleaning fee. Few DVDs she had there came in handy because service went out due to a storm. Coffee in kitchen was awesome! Hot tub worked and very clean!! Fishing off the bank, caught several bass!! Peaceful getaway!

The Cabin was super cute and just as described. Every time I reached out with a question or request, Amanda responded promptly and helpfully. Would definitely book again.

We had a great weekend away at this beautiful cabin. The views were gorgeous, even in the dead of winter. We loved cozying up by the fire with a deck of cards and a glass of wine. Totally relaxing and restful! Very clean too!

Kim's was a great stop! After being there 5 minutes we agreed that we would love to come back and spend more time!!

The place was beautiful. The house is a bit old but we didn’t mind it, it made it feel homey in a way. My friends and I loved the hot tub, would love to come back again.

This was our second time staying at Steve’s place. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and most importantly, very clean. There was plenty of space for our group of six, including three kids and the basement space was perfect for them!

We had a great stay here! Beautiful view while dining inside and while watching the sunset outside on the dock. Catherine was very communicative and the house had everything we needed!

Scott and Angela had a great place to stay. Very at home feel. Would come back!

This cabin type house was beautiful! Very clean and cozy. Had lots of games to play and the canal behind it was beautiful! Lovely place! Definitely would recommend!

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights while attending an Augustana College event. We almost left a day early due to inclement weather, but the place was so cozy we just wanted to stay!

This was a short stay with the family while my son turkey hunted. The home was clean,comfortable and homey. Very peaceful area. Fenced area for our dog. Shawnee Nationalforest with hiking trails, Garden of the Gods, fishing, Cave in Rock. Hope to stay here again.

Anne’s woodland retreat was beautiful, cozy, yet sophisticated. There was attention to every detail, and we felt right at home. The space was filled with amazing artwork. We felt miles away from U of I, but were only 20 minutes away. I wish I would have found this lovely spot at the beginning of my son’s time at college instead of the end. While I was enamored with the artwork and the connection with the artist, my sons really enjoyed the snacks. Anne really goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome.

Brian was extremely communicative and helpful with all my questions and considered my family and I’s needs. The property was EXTREMELY clean which my germaphobe family and I highly appreciated. Would stay again! Thanks Brian and friends!

This cozy cottage has beautiful fees of the lake! We loved the sunroom and all beds were comfy. Loved the well stocked kitchen where I was able to make some favorites for my Grandsons. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place! April’s property is beautiful, right at the edge of a lake. The location is secluded and serene—perfect if you are looking for a break from it all. The home had everything we wanted, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bathrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We are so glad to have found this gem, and hope to stay again!

It was so nice to get away and relax for the night at the cottage! It was so peaceful! Water pressure in the shower was amazing and the bed was so comfortable! Will definitely stay again!

The cottage was very nice and our stay went smoothly. We had a beautiful view of the waterfall from the back deck and really appreciated having separate bathrooms in the upstairs bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Galena!

This was my second time staying at Marianne's place and I really love it. Right on the river, and super quiet and peaceful. Would be happy to stay again sometime!
