Very clean and well maintained home. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and other utensils. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the awesome basement!

It was a nice stay. The home had everything I needed. The view was awesome! Nice and private property. Just what I needed to get away and clear my mind. The kids loved the chickens, all the deer we saw and most of all the giant bean bag! Would definitely stay again. Thanks Oscar

Rogers place was amazing, down to every little detail. First of all, I loved how all the light switches were labeled. A lot of the kitchen cabinets had labels.There was chargers everywhere. There was an actual junk drawer, where we found sharpies to label our drinks, which was amazing.There were signs everywhere. The hot tub was perfect. There was extra beach towels. There was more than enough regular towels. Both bathrooms were stocked with shampoo-conditioner. All the works. There are TVs in the rooms.The lock code was perfect. The exterior cameras made us feel safe. It was amazing. There was also ice. It saved us a trip from getting ice.We loved that there were so many blankets perfect for our movie night. All the little details real really add up.Gameboards, long wooded table, ping pong table, cozy couches, outdoor seating, beautiful lake, ample parking. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Thank you so much for having us! You made our stay very memorable.

What a great little house! Cozy, looks just like the pictures, and COMFORTABLE - great mattresses and couches. Eva is a great host and we appreciated the snacks, K-cups, and bottled water waiting for us after a long travel day. The fenced in yard is small but secure and our dogs had a great time investigating it. We were concerned about finding a good place to eat in such a small town but there's a great Mexican restaurant around the corner (walkable!) and a fantastic local coffee shop nearby. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean. Vicky was a very good host and was very responsive. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful. We highly recommend it!

Very responsive hosts, friendly and flexible when we arrived early. Super cute apartment had everything we needed. A perfect landing spot when we had been out exploring all day or needed a little respite from the city activity.

We really enjoyed our stay. Song was responsive and helpful. The property was as advertised. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There is easy access to public transportation and downtown is also within walking distance. Check in and checkout were very simple/easy. We would stay here again and can recommend the property for families looking for a place to stay in Chicago.

The beach house was a total gem! Description totally matched the house. The modern, clean, chic vibe that this house has is so unique and so appreciated. We stayed here with our two boys and it was just absolutely a lovely apartment for for a family! The beds were so incredibly comfortable and one of my favorite things was waking up in the middle of the night and thinking to myself- this place (sheets included!) smelled fantastic and so clean! The owner was very responsive. My very favorite part was waking up and seeing the view of the lake right outside the window, with the sun shining and the waves crashing (so calming all day!). Minutes walk to the train station. We felt safe and private although there are other tenants living in the building. This will definitely be our go-to for trips to Chicago! Lovely find!

We had a wonderful stay at Daniela’s Airbnb, and really appreciated how it was scent-free and not laden with the smell of cleaning products and detergents! The space was quiet and warm and had lovely puzzles, games, and streaming services that our children and all of us adults took advantage of! The space was clean and free of clutter, so it was super easy to relax and catch up with the family! Daniela was very accommodating to any extra requests we may have had during our stay as well. We’d definitely stay here again for a third time!

Our stay was very nice and comfortable, a nice place to gather and hang out as a group.

Great stay. Only feedback worth mentioning is to clean up all the TV remotes need to make TV work correctly. Never could get local channels

The Hygge Cabin lives up to its name. I wanted a place that was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. This cabin was all that and then some! Finding the cabin was quite easy with Jess’s instructions and my navigation app. Getting inside was simple and straight forward. The cabin itself, was perfect: clean, functional, and very relaxing. Kudos to Jess for the very comforting green/tree theme throughout the cabins. Likewise, it’s the little things that bake a big difference: a pizza pan and cutter. Sturdy, real silverware. Spices in the cupboard. Real toilet paper and paper towels. Simple to use instructions for all the amenities. I wish all Air B&B rentals were this common sense and easy to access and enjoy. I especially enjoyed the hot tub and made use of the gas grill. The bed was very comfortable and the gas fireplace did a great job of warming the entire place. Not to mention the Old Cemetery walking trail just 100 yards down the lane! Loved my stay. Eager to return! Thanks Jess!

We had a lovely time at Brittany's place. The place was clean, comfortable, and supplied with thoughtful amenities. We really appreciated the attention to detail. We were committed to plans during the day but when we got back in the evenings, we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out at the water and listening to the frogs. Private and quiet- love that you can't see neighbors and the nature trail out back is lovely for meandering around. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Brittany!

This is a perfect little cottage near the lake. It had everything we needed, including nice outdoor patio spaces for eating and a big firepit. You can't see much of the lake from the cottage, but it's easy to get to - across a quiet road and down a very long flight of stairs. There's a nice big dock for fishing, swimming, star gazing at night, boating, and just relaxing and enjoying the view (it's a particularly scenic section of the lake because there is no development on the other side of the water - just forest!). We loved having access to kayaks and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would love to return in summer when we can swim and do even more water activities!

Loved it. Nice view on the back porch. My traveling companion knows birds and noted that we saw all these species just while having breakfast one morning: blue jay whitebreasted nuthatch redheaded redbellied woodpecker eastern blue bird eastern wood phoebe red shouldered hawk tufted titmouse field sparrow cardinal great blue heron chickadee junko wood duck crow vulture fish crow So bring your binoculars! Hot tub was nice after a long day hiking. You will be near some houses so not entirely secluded but also neighbors were nice and kept to themselves. Only saw the friendly dogs that came over to say hi. There’s a gate to keep them off the porch if you aren’t a dog lover. Would definitely stay again if passing through.

This stay was amazing. It was beautiful despite the dreary weather when we arrived. It was a great secluded getaway that was exactly the quiet, peaceful & relaxing trip we were looking for. The cabin had everything we expected from the listing & was just perfect. Amanda was an amazing host. She made strawberry rhubarb pound cake that was waiting for us when we arrived that was absolutely delicious! She was friendly and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had, even before we arrived. She also gave many great local recommendations. This stay is 100% worth it and we can’t wait to come back when the weather is nicer to fish! I would recommend it to anyone, even small families. I must also add the little cohost is pretty cute and we are so glad we got to meet her! 🐱

We needed a peaceful evening away and this was perfect. Wonderful porch to sit on and soak in the fresh air and places to walk and unwind.

We had a great time at the cottage. We loved the log cabin and stone fire place. It was so cozy and peaceful to have a fire going inside. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
