We had a great time and the house was wonderful! The house has everything you need to cook and we enjoyed dinner at the cabin most nights. The house is only a few minutes to multiple restaurants and shops! The house was large and more than enough space for our family! The kids loved the creek and mom and dad enjoyed the hot tub!

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

This was our second time staying here. I don’t want to leave a good review so it’s not always booked up lol! Karen is very easy to get in touch with. The cabin is private, clean, and unmatched scenery. We will, of course, be going back!

This was our second wintertime visit. We really love it here and hope to make it an annual thing. Number one favorite on everyone’s list is the hot tub, which can be enjoyed in all weather (even single digits!). The lights strung over the patio make it so cozy out there. The deck, fully equipped kitchen, and comfy beds also get high marks. I have chronic pain, so I very much enjoyed the jacuzzi upstairs, as well. My daughter and I loved the painted wall mural in our room. Last time we were here, we did some interesting geocaches in the area, but with the frigid air this year, we did not leave the cabin the whole time. This was not a problem, as it was very relaxing for the moms, and the girls really enjoyed playing the games provided. Really love the history behind the cabin! The squeaky floors remind me of some of the places my family lived in when I was young, so I enjoyed them as well. Beautiful place, inside and out!

My two kids and I stayed for a long weekend. It was exactly what we needed. The cabin and the property were so beautiful and Lindsey was very helpful and responsive to anything we needed. I hope to book another one of their properties for another trip. I will be recommending The Cozy Cabin to friends and family. 💙

this place was so cute and cozy! the bed was extremely comfortable, the whole space was just welcoming and calming. the scenery was wonderful. unfortunately we got there too late to see the waterfall but we 100% plan on coming back later this summer and getting there earlier. wonderful place, highly recommend!

We had a very peaceful, quiet weekend at Joyce and Mike's lovely cabin. Everything we needed was provided, along with tasty baked goods and other thoughtful touches. Beautiful artistic details can be found throughout the cabin and landscaping!

We had a great time away from the city here. We enjoyed the state parks, and museums restaurants. The property is on an actively worked farm/ piece of land and off a main road so you will hear the occasional truck, tractor etc. If you want complete seclusion, be aware of that. The weather did not cooperate, so we do not get to enjoy most of the amenities the cabin offers but looking forward to doing so next time we book the same place!

We had a great time at this beautiful cabin! The host was super responsive and friendly. Cabin was clean, cozy and in a great location. Good balance of privacy and close to town. I would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was a nice escape while visiting the French Lick/ Patoka area. It was a good in between point to do everything we wanted to. It was great that we were able to bring our dog along and the place had pretty much everything we needed! We enjoyed our time there and were comfortable throughout our stay.

Marty's cabin was a peaceful and quiet place to unwind. We appreciated his thoughtful touches, like birdwatching binoculars, porch gliders, or the Starbucks coffee. The cabin had a warm and cozy feel, and we particularly enjoyed the wood beams and shiplap-style walls and the fresh wood scent inside. A great spot for a getaway!

What a weekend we had! First, this has been one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Perfect size for the two of us. Starr was super informative and provided very detailed, easy to follow information. Now, the things beyond her control: we had a strong thunderstorm move through which knocked out the power for just a little while. Since we were staying in winter, the heat was off for a bit. Once Starr was made aware she offered alternate heating solutions, although it sorted out due to power coming back on! But she was very concerned for us - which was nice. Then, it snowed & I thought we may get snowed in. But the roads were plowed timely. I took a walk down Tower Ridge Rd (been there many times), and it was beautiful with the snow. The cabin is lovely and comfy. No matter the season, you would find a great place to stay! Looking forward to returning! Easy close to town! The drive is beautiful getting there too! Thank you Starr for everything!

The property is very private, yet close to groceries and less than an hour drive to downtown Indianapolis. Great size property to roam, walk to the water, swing on the swing, sit outside (when the weather allows...). multiple sitting areas in and outside the house. adequate sized kitchen, just missing a dishwasher for ultimate luxury. just be aware of the noise atmosphere, the ceilings/floors are very thin, so every step is audible. we traveled with a one and a two year old so we were very aware of the noise levels. also, the downstairs is not really two separate bedrooms. as the listing describes it is open floor bedrooms, so there are no doors between the two areas. But, all in all, it was perfect for our family get away with three different households. we enjoyed the hot tub, the recliner couches, the swing, the location itself and also the nice decorations and thought through furniture!! well used space inside and out.

Had a really great weekend trip here with my dad. I wouldn’t call it “glamping” as it is very remote and not exactly luxurious as the term suggests. The privies are pretty much unusable, but they have a great shower/bathroom trailer nearby. Unfortunately, the AC was broken when we went, so it was extremely hot inside. If you’re not used to camping and being in the middle of nowhere, I’d choose a different place. There was also a wedding during our stay, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use the bathroom as it was right next to the wedding barn and pretty loud throughout the night. Would’ve been nice if we could have been told about this beforehand. Otherwise, we loved it here. Nice to see all the animals as well.

Brad was consistently checking up with our stay and ensuring that if we needed anything throughout our weekend that my partner and I would feel comfortable in asking for whatever it may be. The space was cozy and comfortable with more than enough room for both of us and our dog. We highly recommend a weekend getaway at Cataract Lake at Brad's space 😎

We spent a weekend here with the kids and had a great time. The kids really enjoyed the loft area and getting their own space upstairs to play and lounge during the evenings, but there was plenty of seating up there for all of us to watch a movie and the dining room table big enough to have some family game nights. This place would be great for a get-a-way for a couple or a family. The drive to the shops in Nashville only took 10 minutes, and even closer to Brown Co. State Park. It was exactly what we were looking for at the end of the day to come back to some peace and quiet. We were all looking forward to getting away for some family time and escaping for a few days - it was great! This place had everything we needed and the environment we were looking for.

The cabin was perfectly secluded enough for the marriage vision retreat my wife and I planned. The place has beautiful surroundings and isn’t far from basic needs such as convenience or grocery stores. The cabin was clean and looked just like it did in the pictures. There is a reason I gave finding the place only 2 stars, and it is not Temple's fault. For some reason our GPS made a huge mistake in finding the place. We were almost there when the GPS told us to turn right on Highway 50. There was only Highway 40, so we turned right there instead of just looking for the address. We became lost and finally asked people, who helped us find it.

It was a pleasure to stay at this peaceful cabin! It’s beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean, and included many thoughtful details (ie-bird field guide, snacks). Bev was a gracious hostess and was easy to communicate with. We’re excited to plan another stay!

This place is absolutely adorable and perfect for a quiet weekend away or a stay with the kids and grandkids! It is out in the country so it's quiet and peaceful. There was a swingset for the kids and a grill and fire pit for the adults. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. 10/10 would definitely stay again.

This beautiful cabin was tastefully decorated and peacefully located. Brooke gave great directions, so the cabin was easy enough for us to find, but private and relaxing. Everything was clean, there were games and DVDs available, and we enjoyed reading the notes and decor throughout. We couldn't have asked for a better cabin or friendlier host.

everything was perfect the cabin was beautiful Lois was an awesome host. I had a great relaxing time! definitely will be back. my wife enjoyed everything my dog loved the deck he could see everything.
