We had the most incredible holiday at Nisa's with our group of 8 and cannot recommend Sunshine Villa enough! A tranquil, secluded oasis that happens to be walking distance to restaurants, coffee, spas, marts, everything you need at your fingertips, which makes it even better. The attention to detail was appreciated; as soon as you step foot into Nisa's you truly feel like you can relax without a care in the world. She's got impeccable style and has thoughtfully curated every space to maintain a harmonious flow throughout. The pool was perfect (from temperature to water quality), and the gardens were lush and well maintained. The staff were attentive and friendly. We cannot wait to return!

Airbnb review We had an absolutely wonderful 15-night stay at this villa in Ubud. The photos are very true to life – what you see is exactly what you get, and the place is even more charming in person. The pool was a true delight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The villa is about a 5-minute walk from the car drop-off point, but Made and the staff were fantastic – they met us on arrival, collected our luggage, and even gave us a scooter ride straight from our transfer to the villa. A really thoughtful and seamless welcome! The location is excellent, with several great restaurants within easy walking distance. There’s a local laundry service nearby that was incredibly cheap and efficient – next day service every time. Bintang supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away, which was very handy for stocking up on essentials. We chose to hire scooters during our stay, and Made was super helpful in organising that for us. He was always just a message away.

We had an incredible stay at this truly special villa. Nestled in the middle of lush rice terraces, coconut trees, and mountains, the setting is absolutely breathtaking—photos don’t do it justice. Our host, Romain, was brilliant—very responsive and helpful, providing lots of useful information and suggestions before our stay. But what made the trip unforgettable was Koplo, our driver and guide. He lives in the village and gave us a real insight into Balinese life—introducing us to his family, showing us around his village, and taking us well off the tourist trail. Highlights included Batukaru Temple at sunrise, cycling through the Jatiluwih rice terraces on e-bikes, stopping at a coffee plantation and a natural hot spring—all organised by Koplo. He also arranged delicious Balinese meals cooked at the villa. If you're after nightlife and beaches, this place isn't for you. But if you want peace, nature, stunning scenery and an authentic cultural experience, Villa Loti is perfect!

Truly, it was a wonderful stay I had with my parents in Doni's villa. Astri and Desa were so helpful and kept everything clean and organized. They also taught us a lot about Balinese culture during Nyepi. The decor is marvelous and so is the location: close enough to Ubud but far enough away to be relaxing. The villa has its own private pool along with a second pool in the common grounds, which are wonderfully landscaped. We can't wait to return for another stay soon.

Lovely house overlooking a rice terrace and small private garden including a koi pond and Bali hut. Each bedroom had its own large bathroom and are separated by a full kitchen where Putu cooked us delicious breakfast each morning. It’s short walk down the beach, and you can walk to Balian Beach at low tide. Wayan can also organise a scooter for you to hire. Backs onto the main road so unfortunately a little noisy with traffic, but otherwise we loved staying there.

Our stay at this villa in Bali was absolutely perfect! The property is stunning, with a beautiful blend of modern design and traditional Balinese touches. The pool was the highlight—crystal clear and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a private oasis to relax. The bedrooms were spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds, and the living area was perfect for unwinding. The host went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and thoughtful touches, like daily checkins and daily housekeeping. The location was ideal, close to fantastic restaurants and attractions but still peaceful and secluded. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough and can’t wait to return!

Recently stayed here with our family and loved the accommodations. Very peaceful and quiet, but also convenient to a handful of restaurants and a Circle K just past the end of the driveway. Dwi and Dayu made delicious breakfasts every morning and kept the villa/grounds clean and beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Extra ordinary in all aspects ! Staff is excellent, food really good. Sleeping in Cobra with your “adult” kids is an experience I wish everybody could live. Very reasonable prices… I hope nothing changes as the accommodation is all over Insta.

Villa Kelapa (as you'll find it in google maps) or Ayu's place is an absolute gem at a very logical price, in a lovely & calm area outside Ubud, very close to forest/jungle and with some natural (maybe used for rice some years ago, i'm not sure) pools/ponds adjacent to the property. We had the feeling that we were inside jungle actually. Spacious rooms and beds, with their bathrooms, a very well equipped kithcen and cozy living room. Pool/garden area was amazing too. Komang (lady responsible for cleaning & maintenance of the villa) is a very efficient and warm person. Kadek, our driver for our excursions (who was recommended by Ayu) was so polite and helpful, he was made our life easier during our stay. (Bali is a place which can have a lot of traffic and its roads are not the typical western roads). Within steps from the entrance of the villa there is a lovely cafe-restaurant and at 700m distance an incredible restaurant "Mango Cafe". Thanks for everything, we had an amazing stay

Amazing villa! -The villa was exactly like the photographs and listing and actually exceeded our expectations. -The host was great at communicating with us and was very friendly! The host was accomodating in organising all of our requests, yet we still had privacy at all times. We had one issue with a broken key and this was sorted within the same day and the team were very responsive. -There was security for outside of the villa and the surroundings from the afternoon until the following morning each day (which was an added bonus even though the villa is very safe and secure). -Housekeeping were immaculate and very thorough. -The pool is great and the AC in the bedrooms was excellent. The views from the property are unbelievable and you get the sun pretty much all day. -The guest services are very impressive from the spa services, to the pool decoration. The chef came to do breakfast one morning and an American BBQ (both were very good value for money and amazing quality).

The Dream Bamboo Cliff Villa was the perfect place for the balance between pampering and adventure that we seeked when booking a place to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We're group of 5 friends from the USA. Our driver, Supry was all smiles from the time he picked us up until we had to say our good-byes. Though his job description is a driver, he is more like a tour guide, answering our questions, making recommendations and even literally guiding us on a hike to a secret waterfall. This is a must do!!! We had the waterfalls to ourselves the whole time. The staff at the villa was always warm, genuinely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, light and healthy. The juices so refreshing. We especially enjoyed the breakfast menu and the BBQ dinner. Their sauces are homemade and so flavorful. The bamboo dinner class was fun too. Eddie was always just a text away to help rearrange our schedule. He always made it work! We needed more than 3 nights! We will definitely come back!

Agus and Tivira were amazing hosts. The villa was beautiful, clean and well worth the visit. Agus did everything he could to make our stay amazing. He was prompt with all messages and supported everything as soon as he could (even during his own birthday celebrations!!) I could not recommend this stay more!!

Je ne sais par quoi commencer… à peine reparti on pense à y retourner. Ce fut le plus beau séjour que j’ai pu faire, un lieu calme, paisible ressemblant à un rêve. Où que l’on regarde la vue est à couper le souffle, que ce soit les rizières, les palmiers, la forêt, le mont batur, le lever du soleil le matin, l’atmosphère une fois la nuit tombée. Que de souvenirs gravés dans ma mémoire. La nourriture y est excellente, le staff est si réactif, si aimable, si accueillant, tout est pensé pour vous faire passer les plus belles vacances de votre vie. Merci pour tout

The place was just amazing, very clean and spacious, in a quiet area. Our host komang arranged everything for us. Starting with the pick up made breakfast every morning and whatever plans we had she made them happen.. she just made everything easy for us. We would definitely go back to this beautiful relaxing villa. : )

We’re reluctantly leaving this review, but of not fault of Jennifer’s, but for our own selfish reasons..LOL..We fear that if we adequately describe how AMAZING this place is, that it’ll be extremely hard for us to book again in the future. Not only is the property exactly as described, but coupled with the out of this world amazing staff, this place is truly a dream. Now before I run out of characters allotted, I will make mention that the drive/ride from the airport to the villa is about 3 hours, but if you’re willing to accept that, then welcome to PARADISE! Every meal that was prepared was not only delicious, as well as nutritious and FRESH! We felt right at home and welcomed, whether in the villa our out in the community. This trip was our honeymoon, and Bali and Villa Sedang will forever be a part of our love story. Thanks so much Jennifer and staff!

Villa Palmeira was an exceptional stay and I highly recommend it. Agus looked after our needs with a smile and organised daily massages, a snorkeling tour, shopping trips and more for our group. We will absolutely be coming back! Additional information that is not in the other reviews: 1. A 10L filtered water bottle is hooked up to a machine. It is safe to drink. 2. The staff know how to prepare fruits, vegetables and salad. We ate a LOT of fresh salads and did not get sick. 3. Expect to see animals around the villa including small snakes, crabs, lizards (which sound like they are quacking), dogs and cats. 4. Agus will book with local groups – meaning you will get the most bang for your buck AND experience the greatest hospitality Bali has to offer. 5. Alcohol is expensive. Customs allows 1L per person to be brought into Bali. 6. Treat the staff well and they will treat you well! Agus loves Baileys and Whiskey. We tipped $50000 - $100000 IDR ($5AUD - $10AUD) for various services.

We had an excellent stay at Diana's home in Bali. we were torn between a resort in Nusa Dua area or this. we are SO happy we decided to stay at Diana's home. The home was exactly as shown in the pictures, honestly more beautiful, pictures don't do it justice). Everything was just as the listing described! What REALLY sets this house apart and made our stay unforgettable was Wayan, the house manager. He along with the other staff (cleaner, gardener) were so helpful and friendly! We had the chance to also meet some of Wayan's family during our stay and they are such amazing people. Wayan is always there for suggestions or recommendations, but we still always had privacy. This was an excellent vacation for our family and if you are considering this, I would recommend you do it!!!

Wir haben 9 Nächte mit 3 Kleinkindern in der Villa verbracht. Das gesamte Team u die tolle Ausstattungen haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Nix war unmöglich u alles wurde danach ausgerichtet, dass wir ne tolle Zeit haben. Danke a das Team rund um l’espoir - ihr habt unsere Familienzeit einmalig u unvergessen gemacht. Im Norden ist Bali anders, aber genau das wollten wir. Mehr als die Villa braucht man nicht u falls doch geht man zu den netten Strandbars … in der Villa funktioniert das Team: von Haushalt u Küche über Security u Garten bis hin zu Massage Ani und Nanny’s sowie der Fahrer. Alles toll abgestimmt u die Kommunikation mit Manager Budi einfach u schnell. Danke an alle- wir kommen wieder!

My friend and I stayed here on Nyepi day The reviews say that the villa is tired - it really is. That said, it is a lovely Balinese wooden house with two separate large bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has separate access to the pool and you don't disturb your neighbor when you want to go outside The bathroom had a real bathtub!!! I'm shocked, first time I've seen a bathtub and not a shower in Bali The owner and his parents are very nice people. On the day of the Ogo-Ogo parade his mom gave me and my friend sarongs. It was so nice and nice! And we got tons of compliments from Balinese people on the street And we also met the owner of the house with his wife and child at the parade and had our picture taken with them For me, Bali is first and foremost about the people. And I recommend this place because it's owned by a wonderful family

We stayed at Ross’ place for 3 nights over Nyepi and it ended up being the perfect place for that. The Airbnb is far enough away from the busy streets that you truly feel like your away from it all, but still just a 14-20 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the shops and market in front of the Ubud Palace. This was a beautiful and relaxing stay and I would highly recommend it and would love to stay again.

We loved our stay, Villa is better than the pictures- beautiful gardens, spacious and open. Loads of room for the family and some grass for the toddler to kick a ball around. The staff at the Villa are lovely, breakfast was delicious and washing done for us daily. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend.
