Charming cottage well renovated, with everything you need, fantastic location for walks/cycling and a short drive to other attractions, would definitely come back, the views alone make you feel lucky to be here.

Such a lovely place to stay, so peaceful and even better in the sun ( which we luckily had). We had such a relaxing stay and the beds were like a dream. Would definitely recommend this place for a break. It was so nice to see little rabbits running around and even better to have a little friend 🐱welcoming us in😊 Would stay here again. Thank you 😊😊

We had a lovely stay at this property, it was remote and quiet which was perfect for a couples overnight getaway. The hot tub was the highlight and we loved how there was lights and curtains so you could stay in after dark and also have some privacy. Everywhere was clean and tidy and there was every utensil available to make dinner in the evening, tea coffee milk and biscuits were also a lovely touch, we would definitely recommend! Thank you so much ❤️

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely cozy cottage in the beautiful village of Addingham. The cottage was nice and clean with welcoming goodies on arrival. Lorraine provided is us with useful information of places to visit around the location and how to access the parking space before we arrived. The hot tub is so relaxing after a nice walk. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Lorraine & Hayley.

Excellent hosts home made cake lovely welcome pack was very nice touch even put candles on the cake and decorated for my birthday very helpful with local places to visit and eat rose barn was immaculate we felt right at home don’t essitate to book it’s stunning stay thankyou again

Incredible place in beautiful settings. Beware of house envy when visiting as it will blow you away! The only minor minor flaws is that the only bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom as it is an en suite. Photos don't do this place justice it's fantastic!

Just got back from a 2 night stay and wished we would have done 3 such peaceful and calm surroundings lovely walks close by. The cottage was clean and tidy. The host was very friendly and very helpful at quick responses. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a great stay

We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

Superb, great location and wonderful host, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the lakes this is the place to go

We were so lucky with the weather that the beautiful garden and seating pod were a big feature of our stay as we were able to be out in the sunshine until it dipped behind the roof well after 7pm. The whole place was spotlessly clean, downstairs was one room that was kitchen /diner /lounge, quite adequate for our needs. Upstairs was huge, with a big bathroom, good size second bedroom and a master bedroom that made us exclaim ‘wow’ when we opened the door it was so spacious with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside…and a comfy bed…lovely.

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. Fizz, fresh bread and homemade jam to greet us. Lovely warm and surprisingly large cottage with a gorgeous view of the ford. Great walks straight from the door with wildlife aplenty (sadly no red squirrels but our host did point us to a hotel where we managed to see them). All in all, a cracking place to stay.

Booked Helen's cottage for a weekend to reconnect with old friends that had been living abroad. The cottage is in a beautiful area with spectacular views and is just as described. The cottage is fully equipped and lacks for nothing with all the rooms comfortable and cosy. Helen provided a good welcome pack with bread, milk, butter and breakfast cereal. We had a lovely meal at the Crown, 5 minutes away in the car. The only downside is that some of the internal decorations are beginning to look a bit tired and could perhaps do with refreshing. All in all a great holiday location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emma's place. The secure garden was great for our dog to roam whilst we relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day following plenty of walking around the Lakes. The cottage itself has loads of character but everything you need for your stay. We were fortunate to have the weather to make use of the gas BBQ. Emma was very welcoming and chilled with the fact we had a good run up and arrived half an hour before check-in time. Nothing was too much trouble and the fresh eggs were delicious! The cottage is just a 10 minute drive from Windermere, (20 minutes to Ambleside, 30 minutes to Grizedale forest), so whilst it's not in the throng of all us tourists, we benefited from the peace and quiet when we wanted it, but nothing was too far away. We'd also highly recommend the fish and chip shop in Staveley, just a 4 minute drive down the road. Hopefully we'll be back!

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is lovely and spacious, with plenty of room. It was clean and well presented and the views from the back over the River - absolutely stunning! It was such a quiet and relaxing place to spend a weekend. Jeremy was responsive and a pleasure to book with. The cottage is within easy walking distance of two excellent pubs and a very nice Indian restaurant. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our anniversary stay at Crumble Cottage. Was everything we needed for relaxation and more On check in, Stewart was on hand and gave us an overview of the place, surroundings and suggested great places to visit and eat. The cottage itself is approx 15min walk into the centre of Cartmel - with great places to eat and drink there We visited the Wolf Predator experience by Grange-over-Sands - it was amazing!! Really enjoyed the comfort of the cottage and the tranquility- Will definitely be back again! Thanks for having us (Heidi & Craig) ☺️

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Catherine is an excellent host, great communication and keen that everything is ok, quick response to queries raised. lovely welcome touch, of milk, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit juice jam, butter and apples and a supply of tea and coffee. Lovely compact cottage with a good kitchen, with a dishwasher and microwave. peaceful and quiet, away from everything but only a short drive in to Kendal

Simon communicated well with us and made sure we settled in. Nice location for our stay and perfect for the two of us and child who loved seeing the chickens on the farm.

The house was immaculately presented and supplied with everything needed for a relaxing stay. It is centrally located with everything within walking distance yet still peaceful. A great find and highly recommended.

this is a beautiful cottage set in a lovely quiet location in walking distance to some nice pubs and villages. Deborah and Tim are both lovely, welcoming and we're helpful with information on the surrounding area for walking and places to visit, they have also a lovely cottage that's been done to a very high standard and has everything in you need. the log fire is lovely and the bedroom with a copper bathtub and shower are just amazing, can't wait to return thank you so much.

Beautiful location next to the lake, relaxing and peaceful. The cottage is full of character and charm. I hope to go back again

Lovely cottage on a private farm. Easy to get in, minor problem on arrival which was quickly solved even though late at night. Lovely weekend.
