Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. It is a bit hard to get to with a long and steep walk up but the house is very cozy and location is beautiful

Our best Airbnb experience to date! A lovely chalet with well equipped kitchen and gorgeous views. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of being out of the center, but it was just 15 minutes walk into town. Communication was clear and easy. Would love to come back again!

We had a fantastic stay in the chalet. The chalet itself is beautiful and clearly built and furnished with a great deal of skill and care. It’s located on a beautiful hillside with views of the surrounding mountains and surrounded by green pastures. Our closest neighbors were the local cows. The location works best with a car and is within easy driving distance to hikes and sites in the Interlaken region. It’s possible to get there by public transport through a bus from Brienz but it didn’t seem to be very frequent (about once an hour). We were there in September which was a good time to visit. The chalet is heated by wood fire and was a bit cold the first night (we arrived late and the fire wasn’t on for long before we went to bed) but very comfortable the rest of the stay - there was plenty of wood and it kept the heat in well). The weather outside was great for hikes and exploring. It was clearly off-season and some restaurants were closed (eg in Axalp) so good to plan ahead.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem super schönen, gemütlichen und gepflegtem Berghäuschen. Tolle Aussicht, sehr ordentlich. Der Kamin war definitiv das Highlight. Wir haben absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Danke für die gute Kommunikation. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und können Aldo wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Bis zum nächsten Mal !

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft schön. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Iris ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin und der Check-in war problemlos. Die Lage ist einzigartig und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in den Bergen.

We loved our stay here. Perfect for our family. The location for us was ideal. Picturesque, all that we imagined Switzerland to be. The views every morning every evening are amazing. I am sure it is amazing during winter time as well. For us it was perfect and truth be told well beyond our expectation. Waterfalls mountain views, evening cow bells..what more could we want...and connectivity with trains and buses right out the front door 😍😍 we plan to come back with our second daughter. We experienced sunshine, and rainy weather, both had their own vibe in this chalet. Please know that it is away from busy hustle bustle, but if you crave that Brienze is like 7 miles drive (or you could take the bus) and any location is a train journey away! Spectacular and absolutely amazing hosts, In Spite of having researched our visit I believe I had a lot of questions 😜😜 our host was very quick with responses that were full of insights. Loved our stay.

Tolle Unterkunft, es fehlt an nichts. Gute Erklärungen zu der hochwertigen Ausstattung vorhanden. Zu unserer Reisezeit sehr ruhig. Einkaufen in den Nachbarorten möglich. Nette Vermieter und netter Nachbar.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, secluded, and ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Janis provided detailed instructions, which were crucial since we arrived at night in thick fog. (Make sure to use Google Maps, as Waze led us down paths not meant for cars causing us to turn around in sketchy conditions.) The welcome basket was an incredibly thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed and at home. The cabin’s simplicity was just what we needed—no distractions, just the beauty of nature all around. It’s well-equipped, but if you’re visiting in cooler weather, knowing how to make a fire is important to stay warm. The surrounding area is great for hiking or relaxing with a book, and the breathtaking views made the stay unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and more connected to nature. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil experience!

Great stay! The apartment was bright, spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Clear instructions for check-in/-out. Nice view and great location near Wilderswil train station for easy access to Grindelwald and the ski slopes. Highly recommended!

5* from the moment I booked until I drove away… don’t hesitate at booking. The location is perfect for exploring, skiing or hiking. The space is homely and Ueli is faultless as a host.

Had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Markus’s place! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for a relaxing stay and its within 10 mins walking distance from Interlaken West station.

Séjour fantastique ! Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans Alp n’rose. La vue est tout simplement magnifique, et le domaine skiable est très agréable, avec de nombreuses possibilités de randonnée aux alentours. L’emplacement est idéal, près de la remontée mécanique. L’accueil a été des plus chaleureux, et Sebastien était très serviable. Nous recommandons vivement !

Die Wohnung im Chalet hat viel Charme und ist wunderschön. Sehr praktisch gelegen mit den Kindern. Gleich beim Kinderland. Super Ausstattung. Es hat uns an nicht gefehlt. Alexandra war stets sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Gorgeous location and views. I thought this side of Wengen had the better views, even though most of the restaurants and shops are in the other direction from the station. But nothing is very far. The house is walking distance to the station - but! If you have lots of heavy bags, you may need to ask for a taxi to get you and your bags back to the station (from the station to the apartment is downhill so ok). The house had lots of stuff for cooking - pots, pans, seasoning, etc. we did have a bit of an issue with the stove and oven but the caretaker came by in the morning and fixed it.

Excellent choice for a big group to be together in. All the furniture is well maintained, well stocked kitchen and the heated floors in the bathroom is a great touch. The sauna was awesome after coming back from hikes in the evening. Everything in this cabin is high quality. The house was well built and the views are better in person than it is through photos which is crazy to say. With all that being said there are some things you should think about prior to booking. This is a town in wengen and it is on top of a mountain. We would leave early mornings and arrive late at night back to the home. It was semi inconvient to take the train up and down this mountain. Be prepared to walk when you arrive by train. We decided to get a ride everyime to our home and back to the train station. Train ticket each time is 10 dollars and the ride up to the home is 15-30 depending on the group. Airbnb host has an awesome driver/ friend by the name of HP. Honestly he was the star of the show. Gerti has a sanctuary; you won’t be dissapointed if you book this place. Apart from the amazing views, architecture, one of my favorite parts was a home cooked meal by Gerti after a long day at Jungfrau. It was a treat to come home to especially as we were traveling with little kids. If I ever get a chance to come back, I would love to stay here again! Cheers.

Boutique Villa was a perfect stay! The location is very convenient with it being just a short 5 minute walk to restaurants and stores. The host is extremely responsive with a ton of helpful instructions and tips. We’d love to stay here again!
