We had such a wonderful time at this house!! We traveled with two toddlers and a baby and felt like the house was very safe for them. They even had the best toys the kids were in love with! Chris communicated constantly and was helpful if anything came up. The back porch was dreamy for hanging once the kids were asleep. Highly recommend to any family!

My family had a great weekend visit! The hot tub on the top deck was a major hit. Being tucked in the dunes made the property feel secluded and private while also being able to enjoy the views of the ocean. With only a few steps to the beach it was easy to come and go! The beds and bedding were super comfy- like sleeping on a cloud. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great basketball court and game room!! Our teenagers spent a lot of time in the game room. Pool was also a hit and lots of time was spent in the hammocks as well. Becky was super responsive and accommodating. We would 100% stay here again!

A perfect location - steps to the beach, but the dunes, beach and ocean are always in sight. Opening the door and walking in we were wowed by the view. The home is welcoming and provides everything you need for cooking and relaxing. Loved the decks, grill and the neighborhood. The layout is so, so comfortable and welcoming. My wife loved the indoor hammocks., Wifi worked great, plugged in our Fire stick and we were home. Close to many restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Lots of great ideas for home - now waiting on Amazon delivery of the bidet attachment for my wife's bathroom at home - next will be ordering indoor hammocks. Thankful to have an opportunity to visit - wonderful home and hosts.

One of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Everything was exactly as described. It’s about 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington but absolutely worth it for the privacy and seclusion we wanted for our anniversary weekend. You could tell Kristy was thoughtful in making sure we felt right at home. We will for sure be staying here when we’re in the area again.

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

Unit accurately described. Clean, great location no complaints. Only negative at first we didn’t see the instructions on how to enter the unit on the Airbnb email. Called the owner but they never called back-minor issue and only issue otherwise everything was great.

Great home in a nice peaceful area, had some trouble with the wifi which Carol quickly addressed and fixed. Local restaurant recommendations she provided were also great! Would recommend!

The space was exactly as described and Diane was super responsive and helpful. The kids loved the hot tub, there were tons of unexpected amenities (waffle maker! Cupcake liners!) which made for more breakfast and snack options. Be sure to plan for renting a car - while there is a nice restaurant next door, you’ll need it to get around. I would recommend planning a stop to the carnivorous plant garden while you’re in town!

This place was so peaceful and cozy. The house is beautiful and feels like home from the moment you walk in. Very quiet neighborhood, great fenced yard with pavers for dogs to play without the mess of mud, and great area to hose off beside the house so we were never tracking in muddy paws or sand. We visited with our three large dogs and even they felt so relaxed almost immediately. The house is spacious and has a lot of character. We loved looking at the art. The hosts are very hospitable and so kind. It is so hard to find places that are truly dog- friendly and as clean and comfortable as this one. We had a very special stay and will definitely be back.

second time we stayed at the salt house , it was close to both beaches ,was a short drive .

Seadar is a beautiful cottage close the beach access and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Adam was an awesome host! He was pleasant and prompt with his communication and very accomodating. You can't beat the location of the house and the proximity to the beach and the quality of nearby restaurants. People in the neighborhood were also very friendly. We were surprised to see that the front and back of the property were sand and dirt and that there was a home being built next door. Despite this, it was a great place to stay and we have already recommended the home to others.

We loved our week at Blue Turtle Cottage! It’s bright, clean and charming. Just a short walk to the beach. Leslie and Kay were lovely hosts. We’d definitely come back if our plans bring us to OKI. The king bed is super comfy!. Thanks for hosting us! 💙🐢

Absolutely perfect place!!!!! Perfect for me and my pup!! It's in the details!!! The place was spotlessly clean, labeled, well-maintained, had everything you needed, and smelled great! Easy check-in and check-out instructions. I had a bad experience with another Airbnb. Lisa was super sweet, accommodating, and flexible. She responded quickly to my late reservation made at 11 p.m. on the same night; within 10 minutes, she approved it. I loved being there and cannot wait to return and stay at Lisa’s properties again. Also, the “master room” has cervical pillows for those with neck problems.

We loved our stay! The cottage was perfect for my husband and me - charming, comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again when we visit Charleston in the future!

The Palms was a great choice for Sunset Beach! A recently updated, cozy place for a couple or more. Located at the quiet end of the beach, a short walk to beach access, and packed with amenities - you cannot go wrong staying here. Janet and Mark are helpful, welcoming hosts. The house is clean, modern and well appointed, including a well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds, good shades, fans throughout, a screened porch to chill out. Enough beach gear to leave yours at home. Great restaurants and grocery stores a short drive away. We had a perfect long weekend in the sun and surf.

Dawn and Jeff are wonderful hosts. The house was adorable, very comfortable and convenient to access all parts of the island. We really loved the area and will definitely be back! Super bonus too, we came home with fresh Bonita that Jeff caught!

I see that someone stated in their review that it "felt like a home, not a rental." That is so true! It's a gorgeous property; so peaceful and inviting. It's great being close to the city and the beach, but you may have to force yourself to leave that lovely porch. Thank you for being great hosts! Would absolutely stay there again! If there is any negative (and it IS difficult to find one), it would be better if the extra cost for using the second bedroom was more visible on the listing. Discovering that later was a little disappointing.

This was a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a few days but still close enough to anything you may want to visit. The hosts were very nice people to meet, and our kids loved them as well!

Before we arrived Sue let us know that we would be able to check in a little early, which was a nice gesture. The home itself was immaculate and exactly as described and the view of the sound was beautiful. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to utilize the kayaks or paddleboards but we definitely want to come back and stay an extra day or 2 when it's warmer. There was a coffee bar stocked with lots of goodies too and even some additional equipment in the outdoor storage like life jackets and toys for the beach. We had to come back because we left something and got to meet Sue and she was very friendly, as expected, and welcoming. We loved this place and enjoyed her as our host!

We and our dog Sammie absolutely loved our stay! The beautiful and peaceful farmhouse was exactly as listed—spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was so relaxing watching all the animals around the property. The host was quick to respond to any questions, and both they and the handyman were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Super cute place! Had very nice appliances and was decorated nicely. The fan in the bedroom next to the balcony was very slow and it was kind of hot at night. And for anyone staying with kids, there are two small beds and one blow up mattress. The beds were a little smaller than expected but im glad the blow up mattress was there. Overall, really quiet place and felt safe. Would recommend!
