Very good place to explore west coast of Scotland. You have here all you need. Additionally - great view from the window on Loch Long. For us it was another segment of our hike around Great Britain Coast Line. We booked the flat for 1 week but as the weather cleared we asked Simon for another week extension and there was no any problem. Sorted right away.

Couldnt have done anymore to make our stay perfect. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to our next stay. Thanks

My recent stay showed that this is a fabulous place to stay at any time of year! The apartment is light and comfortable, and close to local amenities, including some excellent cafes and restaurants.

Margaret and Stuart gave us such a warm welcome. Margaret gave us a full tour of the property. The property has a large garden that my 5 Yr old loved to explore in. The property itself had everything you need and had comfy beds! We used the off road parking. It's in such a quite location, not a long walk down into Helensburgh, takes a little longer walking back as it's up hill. We would stay again, 100%!!

great location for station, easy accommodation for short stay

A lovely property and a great location. we were 4 groups converging for a family 60th party in Largs and Hogmanay in Glasgow. We are familiar with the area but not here. Mark was very responsive in all communications during the booking, and we loved the property, a lovely open space for us all to chat and catch up and left relaxed and chilled.

We were looking for a location for an end-of-year family get-together and Anne's place was exactly what we needed! It was spacious, cosy, very well equipped and in a terrific location for easy access to Loch Lomond and bars and restaurants in Balloch. Although it's close to the centre of town it also felt secluded with trees on two sides of the property. The weather wasn't great so we spent more time indoors than out, but that was no problem with the comfy living-dining room and connected kitchen! We'd definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Balloch!

This place is absolutely amazing. The place has a well-stocked kitchen and facilities, beautiful linen and furnishings. Beds were very comfy. Everything you need is in the house. Communication was fantastic, very prompt and friendly. The location is very quiet backing onto the forest, scenery is stunning. Only about a 15 min drive to Dunoon. It does have a steep driveway but easy to navigate with a couple of turns. The bedrooms don't have blockout blinds (seems to be a typical Scottish set up), so if you're a light sleeper an eye mask is useful, or we popped a blanket over the rail to make it darker. We will definitely return!

Wir waren mit der Familie zu viert in der Unterkunft. Alles wirkt neu und man hat sehr viel Platz. Wir hätten uns noch über einen Couchtisch im Wohnzimmer gefreut, aber das ist vermutlich Geschmackssache. Die Ausstattung lässt ansonsten nichts zu wünschen übrig. Es ist wirklich alles da. Die Bedienung der Heizung, Herd etc. werden in einer eigenen Unterlagenmappe seht gut beschrieben. Eine eigene Auffahrt zu haben, um den PKW zu parken, empfanden wir als sehr hilfreich. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen und Andrew hat als Host immer blitzschnell auf alle Anfragen reagiert.

Lynn is an excellent host and was very helpful throughout. Aros is a beautiful home in a great location. It has a welcoming feel as soon as you enter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable, plenty of space for the family to relax. We were lucky enough to be visited by a deer in the garden the first morning. What could be better.

Justin and Rae were extremely welcoming, both were there when we arrived. The house itself was large and there was more than enough room for everyone in our party. The house was spotless with lots of extras, eg. shampoo, conditioner. Milk, sugar, coffee etc. Would highly recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivygrove. It’s well-furnished and has lots of space. It is in a quiet location but minutes from the centre of Dunoon. With a very helpful host if you need Cathy. Thanks, Cathy

Very happy to recommend this property. Good communication from host, stunning location, everything in good condition, a few local bars and restaurants. Under 5 minutes walk to railway station, right on the riverside path, 10-15 minutes walk to loch.

Gramercy is a very conveniently located apartment with wonderful views of the Clyde. Paddy is a wonderful, friendly host and nothing is too much trouble. Freshly baked bread, milk and butter, tea and coffee awaited us on arrival and was so appreciated after our very long car journey. The bed was cosy and there were plenty of towels and everything we needed for our short stay. Very peaceful and relaxing- I wish we could have stayed longer. I can't recommend Gramercy highly enough. As always, staying at Lisa's place was great. It's always my go to choice if it's available when I'm visiting and I would highly recommend to others.

We loved our short stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. Our host were lovely and personable, the space was cozy and clean! The area was wonderful, right next to the ocean where we spent skipping rocks (great rock location to do so). Coffee shop at the Country Store was walkable and they were absolutely lovely, we enjoyed stopping by before our days journey exploring.

Louise was very helpful and quick to respond. We had such a lovely stay so much so we have already booked a return visit. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house warm comfortable and cosy. The lounge was the only area we felt needed updating, the sofas were well past their sell by date and quite shabby. The furniture in that room on the whole was tired. It did not deter from our enjoyment. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. and Louise had very kindly left us a welcome gift. We used the local taxi service to travel about and they were very reliable. As said previously we are returning and would highly recommend. Thank you Louise x
