I had a wonderful stay at Ornum Cottage, a charming bed and breakfast near Beauly and close to Inverness. The peaceful and scenic surroundings made it a perfect retreat, and the location was ideal for exploring both the countryside and the city. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a delicious breakfast that added a special touch to the stay. The hosts were attentive and provided helpful information, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Ornum Cottage for anyone looking for a tranquil escape with easy access to Inverness.

Beautiful place, the surrounding area is stunning on a clear day. The accommodation is comfy, homely and spacious. Breakfast reviews definitely lived up to expectations! We would definitely recommend / stay again if in these parts of the coast of Scotland again. Thank you for your hospitality, Victoria!

Really enjoyed staying at the church and experiencing the countryside. The gardens around the building are phenomenal and super lovely to walk through. Would recommend the place just for the gardens. The room itself is very comfy, clean, and homey. Also, it was great for our needs. Our toddler slept in the second bed in the room. The check-in process was a little cumbersome but Kris was lovely, gave lots of good recommendations, and was friendly whenever we saw him.

Corinne and her family were very warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable using communal areas and the room was spacious and the bed was very comfy.

We were on the fence about booking a room in someone's home as we've never done it before...but we couldn't have been happier that we did! We enjoyed our stay, the bed was super comfy, the breakfast was great and Jamie was so helpful at helping us plan! If we were to come back in the future we wouldnt hesitate to stay again!

My family of 4 had the most wonderful stay at Castle View. Eleanor and her sweet Mia made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Castle View - not just for the lovely rooms, cleanliness, and fabulous location but also for the warmth and kindness of Eleanor.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyway staying near Loch Ness. Great location and you will have an amazingly hospitable and friendly host in Alasdair. Also comes with a great breakfast!

I cannot recommend this place enough, short walk along river banks from station. The room was very cute, with an incredible view looking over river where I really enjoyed sitting and watching sunset. Phi was really responsive and helpful. Her daughter was so lovely in morning with delicious breakfast spread. Kindly allowed me to leave my bag there until my train. Genuinely lovely people, fantastic location and view! Cannot recommend more highly- big thank you to you all.

Short visit here en route to the Hebrides. Lovely place in great location for Loch Ness and only a short drive from Fort Augustus. Glenmoriston Arms within 5 mins great for food. Highly recommended!

Lynda and Eric are welcoming and helpful hosts. We felt "at home" as soon as we arrived. Breakfast choices are interesting, and I found a new favourite breakfast item! Lynda and Eric are very knowledgeable about the area and have helpful suggestions for things to see and do. We would return.

Wir haben die Unterkunft bei Karen kurzfristig und spontan gebucht. Karen hat zeitnah geantwortet und wir waren froh, als wir das Auto direkt vor dem Haus parkieren durften. Das Zimmer mit Doppel- und Einzelbett ist bequem und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Im Eingangsbereich befindet sich ein Aufenthaltsbereich mit vielen tollen Zeitschriften, Büchern und tollen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Badezimmer ist mit einer Dusche ausgestattet. Karen hat uns Restaurantempfehlungen gegeben und nachgefragt, ob wir bei ihr Frühstücken möchten. Wir haben gerne angenommen und durften das Frühstück auswählen - wir haben den superfeinen Lachs, Eier und Porridge genossen. Karen ist eine hervorragende Köchin und wir durften einiges aus ihrem Leben erfahren. Eine tolle und bleibende Erfahrung.

We loved our stay at Jodie and Martin's place! Thanks to the clear instructions provided we got there without any issues but it might be trickier in the dark! Jodie's friendly welcome was great and she walked us through the room amenities. We were only staying for one night but the room was cosy, the kitchenette was very helpful for breakfast. We had a really comfortable and peaceful night's sleep and would return quite happily :)

Susan and Derry are legends! If we could give them and their beautiful mountain view home 10 stars, we would! Their warmth and grace went above and beyond even the best Scottish hospitality, which says a lot. The homemade Scottish breakfasts were to die for. The room and the bed especially were so comfortable and truly every detail was considered in making our stay perfect. We cant wait to visit again!

Stayed only one day but felt very welcomed... The food was amazing and very well presented! Room is up to hotel standards and bathroom very clean. The host is very kind and provides great insight about the area, we arrived a little late but the check-in was very easygoing. They also have their own self-made honey products. It's also close by Inverness if you want to visit that. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful rest and friendly hospitality!

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.

Susan and Derry provided the absolute best hospitality experience I’ve ever had. The B&B was stunning, the bedroom and en suites were impeccable - but besides everything being top of the line, Susan and Derry were very welcoming, hospitable and just wanted to make sure I had the best time. They offered me transportation so I could get around without having to worry about taxis and being able to do a distillery tour and a joy myself. I hope to visit again very very soon - THANK YOU for everything

Die Unterkunft war wirklich super und mit dem Auto vor allem auch gut erreichbar! Die Gastgeberin, Margaret, hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, sodass wir uns direkt wohl gefühlt haben. Meine Schwester und ich können die Unterkunft daher nur wärmstens empfehlen! :)
