Such a great stay! So close to a great beach and tons of stuff close for last minute grocery runs etc. House was very clean and spacious! If staying making sure you bring extra paper towels, trash bags, ziplocs, and those sort of things cause they are sparse (this do tell you this when you book!)

Cheryl’s place was amazing! Lots and lots of room, very well stocked! We will definitely stay there again. Cheryl was very responsive and answered all of my questions.

Had a fantastic stay! Perfect if you wanna be on the water. Town was cute and accessible. Very charming, especially at night. House well stocked with what you could need. Underrated fall stay -- colors are amazing!!!Bathroom very small tho, not the most plus size friendly.

would I give this place 5 stars? nope. i give it 10 stars ++++, it was so great, beyond expectations, the decor, so clean and well put together, so many extras that I never had at other places............did I mention how great and perfect it was?????????? will for sure stay there again when I'm back up there in the fall !!!!!!!!!!

We felt blessed to be able to find Terrie's home while we waited out a power outage during the great ice storm of 2025. The location was in a safe quiet neighborhood that was close to great restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and nicely decorated with everything we needed to feel at home. We would stay here again if in the area.

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! Girls weekend at Van Etten Lake. House is adorable with plenty of amenities. The back deck is as where we spent most of our time. Large and comfy. We had a bonfire one night (thanks for leaving us some wood - it’s hard to gather on motorcycles ;)). Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. We had a beach day in Oscoda and we want to come back! Found some nice spots for dinners. The weekend was over way too soon! Thanks for a great spot!

Matt and Mary created a space that was nothing short of wonderful. They thought of everything for their guests to completely enjoy their getaway. We received their permission to use it for a small baby shower, & we were BLOWN away with the cleanliness, the attention to detail, and their willingness to accommodate us. This was an excellent location and the place was so cute, cozy and clean! Thank you Cindy and Paul for your great hospitality and accommodating us for an extra night!
