We really enjoyed our stay. Loved staying downtown on Water Street and everything was perfect in the Airbnb. Would love to stay here again!

The loft was gorgeous with industrial modern decor, and everything inside was as advertised. Location was excellent, there's a great restaurant on the ground floor and many other excellent and walkable eating and cocktail spots. The neighborhood was clean and safe. While the check-in steps to physically get inside the apartment and get your vehicle into the parking area are kinda complicated, I'm not sure how they could be improved. It might be helpful to know ahead that there's street and other paid parking options all around if your party has more than one vehicle. Kevin and Sheila are friendly in communication. Overall a great stay.

Great location with a lot of fun spots walking distance. Price was very reasonable and communication was spot on. highly recommend

A great stay in a neat, clean and well-stocked place in a nice Mississippi river town. Being directly downtown and close to the river allowed exploration without car. Any potential parking conundrum can be solved by using a 10h paid lot around the corner. Melissa is a wonderful host and made check-in and out a breeze. This will definitely be the choice when returning to the area in the future.

Great stay! Was here for a couple weeks for work. Sheila was great and helpful when needed. Location was perfect. Would recommend!

The Peacock Loft was far more than we expected. A gorgeous space to relax and have fun in. We enjoyed just exploring the apartment, playing in all the costumes, looking through all the photos, and browsing the books. Not to mention the vinyl selection. Brandy was a great host who was very responsive and informative. We will for sure be back. I wish there was a higher rating than a 5.

Jackie is honest about stair climbing and unique walk through from front of building to parking lot. Decorah does not have a homeless population so this was non issue. Safety was never an issue….anywhere…this location or trails. We are from a city and this hidden stair set up would not have worked in our hometown. Decorah is a thriving little town with arts , food, and brewery destinations. Locals are friendly and like to share information about town/events.The trail system is awesome. This is a good long weekend destination. Bed exceptional comfort. Bathroom very functional. Chairs looking out to study street below were greatly enjoyed. Main Street location led to great walk ability of the town. Downtown very quiet during night sleep time.

Mike was wonderful! I had originally booked his neighbors’ place, but they had an emergency come up, so they contacted Mike and he was very gracious and allowed me to book last minute. The space is beautiful! It was an easy walking distance to Hoyt Sherman Place where I saw a great concert. I will definitely be back!
