The apartment is very well appointed with a great view over Ipswich Marina with the bonus of some fabulous sunsets too. The apartment is spacious for a two-bedroom accommodation and the two bathrooms are a definite advantage. The host, Martin, was very supportive and attentive to our needs throughout the stay with prompt and friendly communication. I would certainly recommend this apartment and would look to book again for future stays in Ipswich.

We had an enjoyable stay at the apartment. It was an ideal location and close to amenities - shops, pubs and restaurants. The property was very well presented and we had everything in the apartment that we needed. It was easy to travel to Southwold from the apartment and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We would recommend the apartment and would certainly stay there again if we were in Aldeburgh. We would also recommend Snape Maltings and walking the trail between Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings.

We had a large family gathering here at Peters place. 9 people & 4 dogs. It was fabulous. Literally looked out on to the beach. Very short walk to town. Where there was a glorious selection of shops pub’s restaurants cafes & Art galleries. We would definitely stay again. Hosts were fabulous by the way. Problem initially but Peter came & sorted it out straight away. Thankyou sooo much Ollie & Peter xx

Really lovely apartment with fantastic views. So many great amenities nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and had a lovely weekend in Ipswich. Very comfortable beds and lovely decor in the apartment. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Ipswich. Great communication from the host. Totally recommend a stay here. Thank you!

A very peaceful and tranquil place to stay overlooking open countryside. Beautiful walks from the doorstep. Well equipped kitchen with a great selection of books and DVDs for a quiet evening in. plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc and lovely clean towels and bedding. Great resource of things to do with maps on your doorstep and a-joining villages. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Laurie and Lucy are very friendly. Highly recommended

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

We had a great stay in Lizzie's house. The house itself is modern and well-equipped - the three bathrooms plus the downstairs cloakroom are very unusual for Harwich. It has outside space which would be great for rentals in warmer weather. The house was very clean, beds comfy and bedding and towels luxurious. Lizzie provided our dog with a bed, bowls and toy which was a lovely touch, and also left us with fresh bread, mince pies and eggs - really appreciated. The position of the house is ideal for the river/sea front and old Harwich. Local shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, Penny Pier and museum all a few mins walk. The beach is 10/15 minutes walk away. We've stayed in various places in Harwich/Dovercourt over the past few years, and this has been our best rental to date. There's ample extra parking in the street outside, however, the house is adjacent to Harwich station, and within walking distance of so much, car is not necessary. We noticed no train noise when indoors, however.

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The house is enormous yet homely, beautifully appointed and with the most breathtaking views. The pool and spa are an added bonus and the path down to the beach / estuary is gorgeous. All in all an absolutely fabulous place and we will be back. Thank you xxx

Lovely house , plenty of space for al the family , all you need is there for amenities in the house , lovely welcome bag with coffee biscuits and wine Location is fantastic , if you choose to eat at home and relax at home indoors it fantastic And new oven is great. If you are arriving during the day during busy times weekends / great weather you may find getting a parking space difficult but in the evening once the day visitors have gone it’s ok We would go again

Such a beautiful location with large windows to appreciate from every direction. We loved the local fish shop with daily fresh fish to buy, as well as the sweet cafes.

Stayed here with a group of friends. The house is beautiful and incredibly quiet. It looks exactly like the photos and we’d definitely consider returning. It felt very spacious with enough room in the kitchen and lounge for us all. We didn’t meet Filippa but she was very quick to respond to messages. The house is a lovely, long walk away from Southwold and the beach. Lots to do in Southwold. Would highly recommended a stay here.

We had a fabulous stay! The lodge is in a great location with lots of footpaths nearby. The lodge was very clean and tidy, and had everything you could possibly need. The message we received from Carl prior to arriving was very informative and helpful for our stay, pointing out places nearby. This was especially helpful to learn which pubs were dog friendly as we had 2 dogs with us. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Absolutely beautiful views and very relaxing. Comfortable bed with wonderful fresh smelling bedding. Stunning views to wake up to. We didn't want to leave. Sunrise was amazing on the first day, completely different the next. We would stress that the Parking Permit is meant to be displayed in the allocated bay outside the property; as we didn't realise this on our first day and worried now about a fine. We would definitely recommend this as a relaxing place to stay where worries can be left at home and you can sit and watch the waves roll in over the beach and the people walking by. Ideal place to sit and write, paint or read a book. Wonderful and would like to visit again.

I was attending a course in the area and the stylish and cosy accommodation made it a super all-round experience. The heating warmed the place thoroughly within 5 minutes and all the essentials were provided.

Had a wonderful week here, close to the sea front and accommodation was excellent, apartment was well stocked and comfortable, beds really comfortable, a really lovely quiet place to stay, lots of lovely places to see, highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it, the hosts were easily contacted, and were helpful, and extremely wonderful place to stay, thank you Benji and Leah ❤️ xx

A cosy studio flat. Spotlessly clean. Lovely bathroom. It had everything we needed whilst visiting family in Frinton. The only downside was that the high street is a little noisy, but it was great to have everything on the doorstep. Thanks!

Had a great stay at Agi's place! The apartment is located right on the water with a bunch of shops and restaurants right at hand. Agi was also very responsive and welcoming, offering a book of suggestions on local attractions and willingness to communicate any time.

Absolutely loved staying at Sarah's place in Mistley! Location was central and it was super easy to walk into Mistley or Manningtree. My dog had the best time running around in the fenced garden, the space was cosy and warm and I loved working on my laptop in the sun room looking out at the backyard. Sharon was an excellent host, she came to say hello briefly and have me lots of helpful local recommendations. Can't wait to come back!

Donna’s place was so quirky and in an amazing location, with the seaside right on the doorstep. Donna was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful long weekend celebrating my birthday and will almost certainly be back. I’d recommend this beautiful, cosy gem to anyone looking for a peaceful stay right on the coast.
