Irlande : séjours à la ferme

I stayed at Stephanie’s place primarily as a place to take some space out and to work as I work online. The cottage is ideal for this. Good WiFi, warm and homely and easy to heat in the winter. I enjoyed my time so much that I will be returning early next year for another stint of work and retreat. The house is not only beautiful but Stephanie is also an extremely kind and caring host. Highly recommend for a short break and also longer term stay.

This is our 5 th time staying at Helen’s property… we always have a lovely time. Quit and peaceful. Love the open fire cosy and comfortable. Will be back again soon.

Robert's place is an idyllic Irish dream. It's perfect. I've been going to Ireland all my life and, apart from my Gran's old cottage, back in the 1980s, I've never stayed anywhere as beautiful and peaceful. The attention to detail is incredible, but I wouldn't expect anything less from a master furniture builder. Robert designed and built the place himself. The bed is wonderful (with its cupboard doors) and the beautifully designed bathroom and kitchen have underfloor heating. There's a wood burning stove too. Some donkeys. Puc the dog. And a white guinea hen who sits in the window. But Robert makes the place 10/10. He's a fantastic host! Thanks so much, Robert. I'll be back.

Martina and John were the most wonderful hosts and made my husband and I’s ending to a honeymoon the most magical. From the impeccably clean space, to the wonderful recommendations to the sweetest breakfast box at our door step every morning .. this was the most wholesome stay at an air B&B we have ever experienced. It’s a quick easy trip to Galway city and a great overall location to the Cliffs as well as Burren. Overall fantastic stay! Thanks so much for having us!!

Had a lovely stay at Brian’s place. Lots of space for our family of 5. The house is really nicely renovated and full of character. Very cosy too. The fridge was well stocked and we had everything we needed for a great three days.

Fred and his wife were amazing hosts , very attentive, kind and on hand for anything that was needed , the barn was beautifully converted, it was a pleasure to stay there, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Sanchia’s place was the perfect spot to get away for a couple nights on our way around the country. She was so warm and welcoming and provided us with the amenities we needed. Cottage + beautiful view + wood stove — how much more could you need??

Our stay at the stables was lovely! We felt right at home with the fire already going when we arrived. The place is super cozy and we loved saying hello to the horses every morning. The location is perfect for visiting the cliffs and for doing some nice hikes in the Burren National Park. The communication with Paul & Joan was super easy and Paul gave us some good recommendations. We would definitely stay there again!

Great host. very accomdating and friendly

This was a phenomenal place for myself and 2 young adult. So centrally located for several short drives. Super convenient to get to the Marghera beach caves, the Kilcooney Dolmen, Assaranca Waterfall and the Ardara Distillery is a must and only 8 minutes by foot. At night it’s super close to fantastic and warm pubs. Nancy’s is a must and it’s literally in the backyard. As close as all the pubs are it’s comfortably silent in the “Barn”. The nostalgia of being in a refurbished barn isn’t lost even with the beautiful renovation. It was overly spacious for the 3 of us but that isn’t a complaint at all. My kids enjoyed being on a separate floor from me when they grew tired of my adult annoyance. I absolutely loved “The Barn” and I will definitely be back. As a photographer it was an absolute dream space and location. I’ve referred several friends already and I’m hoping they invite me!

We spent a great week as a family of five at The Barn. The space is comfortable, warm and clean, and the setting is lovely. It’s a great place to explore Clare, Limerick, Lough Derg and Galway, and beyond, with plenty of day trips within driving distance. The renovation of the barn as a holiday home is really well executed and you get a real sense of the project, with photographs etc detailing its progress. Zita was an attentive and communicative host.

What a treasure of a place!! So cosy, private, quiet & peaceful and beautiful views too. The barn was well equipped, spotlessly clean and had everything you’d need for your stay. Lisa Marie was a fabulous host and was so very helpful too. So many great walks in the area for ourselves and our dog and great places to eat too!! We can’t wait to go back!!

This little place is a gem ! It is so clean, beautifully decorated and the surroundings are just beautiful . Good location for anyone wanting to visit Malin head as it is only 30 mins drive away and is defo worth it ! Will defo be back for another stay

Lovely converted stables in quiet rural area. Even on a cold night, it was cosy with the help of the heaters. we had a short power outage and Ultan provided candles and information. A short drive from Kilmore Quay and it's wonderful beach and dune walks and restaurants . Thanks Ultan for a perfect getaway.

An absolutely class week in a beautiful property and location. Cait was so helpful throughout and made sure we were totally at home during our stay. Would aboslutely recommend!

Wir waren zwei Wochen bei Sam und ihrer Mutter zu Gast. Mit dabei war unser kleiner Sohn. Vielen Dank für den tollen Geschenkkorb, der auch unseren Kleinen bedachte! Das Haus ist super geeignet für einen längeren Aufenthalt, es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und selbst mit zwei Familien sollte man gut unterkommen. Vor Ort ist ein kleiner Spielplatz, den wir auch gern genutzt haben. Ein Highlight war der Kamin, dieser hat alles nochmal gemütlicher gemacht. Auch die anderen Leute sind super nett und haben uns Hilfe angebotenen, falls notwendig. In direkter Nähe ist ein schöner Strand, der sehr kinderfreundlich ist. Insgesamt kann man in der Gegend viele tolle Ausflüge machen, man benötigt aber für alles ein Auto. Der Südosten Irlands ist wirklich toll und auch nicht sonderlich überlaufen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder herkommen. Wir alle haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und werden das schöne Haus und seine Umgebung vermissen. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

omg, I can't even put into words how amazing this home is. it's beyond beautiful, with beautiful soft lighting fully stocked with everything you need and much more. it's absolutely spotless. and it comes with an outside Cat named Simba who is so sweet. this is by far the best Airbnb I've stayed in Ireland 🇮🇪.

Wow what a place! Fantastic old cottage, beautifully decorated and a great wood burner. Sauna and whirlpool bath were fabulous. Would definitely recommend as a great base to explore the South West Coast of Ireland.

We met Des at the door as we were arriving. He introduced us to his furry companion, Luna. The house was setup for six people but fortunately for us, my daughter, Lea, and I were the only occupants. It was convenient to have the place to ourselves. One of the first things we did was take a walk around the area. It was a beautiful crisp day and felt good to be out and about. Back at the house, we each picked a bedroom and settled in for the evening. We were able to fix meals in the well stocked kitchen and sit at the dining room table to eat. We saw Des twice that I remember while we were there. My daughter talked to him on the phone before we left. He made himself available, which I found comforting. We had a great visit there and I would recommend it as a place to stay.

Mike was the most hospitable host. This accommodation was brilliant! I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Everything you need and more. Bonus points, it was in a beautiful part of Ireland. Such a gem!!

Great stay at Helen’s in both Stables and Purcells. Friendly host and really nice touches at the property - the beautiful scones and jam were a welcome addition. My family really enjoyed our time here and we would stay again. Ps. Playful doggies were a bonus for my golden retriever Millie. Thank you, Helen and family.

Irene has so kind to leave pastries, juice and milk for our coffee. The place is very comfortable, spacious bedrooms and super clean bathrooms. When I return to Ireland one day, I would love to stay here again. The area has super cute towns to visit. Unfortunately we didn't have any more time to discover more amazing places.

Nicola and Cormac’s place was true to description and in a wonderful location. Driving directions to find the driveway were very helpful, even in the dark we were able to see the landmarks given. We arrived a bit late and Nicola walked over to introduce herself and helped get our fire started. The location itself is beautiful, peaceful and it’s waking up to the lush greenery all around is a dream. The bed and couch were both super comfy. The wood stove was fun and kept us nice and toasty. It’s About an hour drive to cliffs of moher, doolin, Galway, 30 mins to Bunratty castle, a bit further to Killarney but worth it IMO. Nearby Nuala’s was a tasty restaurant they recommended. I wish we would have stayed longer than 2 nights so we could enjoy the property more. Well worth the price. Their cats were also very friendly and came to say hi to us and showed us to our door haha. Side note- there’s no TV, but wifi works perfectly and we had our own devices. Plenty of books provided and a piano
