The perfect stay for a weekend escape. The photos don’t do the cabin justice. So gorgeous and cosy inside and the place is absolutely spotless, has everything you could possibly need. The hottub was fab, so private and peaceful. Henry the dog and Marley the cat kept us great company during our stay. Marie and her son were so quick & responsive. I can’t fault this place. Only con is that we didn’t stay long enough!😂 would love to stay again😊

Our stay at Steven and Claire’s place was incredible. Steven was responsive before our stay and was always available to ask questions, suggest things to do and make us feel welcome whilst we were there. Whilst the property is close to their home we felt like we had the privacy we needed. The views are incredible and the location so peaceful. It’s close enough to explore the Lough and would highly reccomend doing Knockomagh Summit (it’s only a 10 minute walk from the Airbnb) Steven gave us lots of recommendations for local things to do and places to visit. We also had the luxury of tasting his delicious cinnamon buns which he made for us on the morning of our departure. The accommodation is beautiful and comfortable and even though it’s a small space it had everything we needed. The hot tub is a great addition and made the experience even more special. They had board games to play too which was great. Would highly recommend staying and can’t wait to return! Thank you!

I booked this short stay as a wedding gift for my son and his wife, so the review is from them. "Sam and her dad were incredibly gracious hosts. My wife and I stayed here for a short honeymoon after our wedding. We were greeted with some lovely balloons and banners, as well as a lovely card with some delicious chocolates. The cabin was constantly warm and cosy with a plethora of channel and streaming choices on the TV. Our hosts were quick to answer all of our questions and bring anything that we requested. Communication was perfect and we were even allowed to come a day earlier than booked to drop our car off, along with some food for our stay. We didn't get a chance to try out the hot-tub, but it was immaculately clean and very well maintained. Couldn't wish for a better place to stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality."

Really lovely clean place, so quiet and perfect for a getaway. The stars are so clear at night since its away from everything. Glen was so nice and helpful and even went out of his way to give us a lift when we couldn't get back to the town, absolute lifesaver. Make sure you have a car if you are staying here!

My partner Ellé and I stayed at Sam’s place on Saturday. Wow, what an experience. The place was absolutely amazing and is exactly what we were looking for for a quiet getaway weekend. The scenery was beautiful and the accommodation was nice and quirky. The selling point to us was the use of the spa facilities which were second to none, it is WELL worth the extra £40. Out of all air B&Bs we have stayed at this is by far the best. Don’t be expecting a 5* hotel for the accommodation but personally we aren’t into that sort of thing, it served our needs perfectly for what we were after. The place was very easy to find, just about 20 minutes outside of Derry which makes the commute to the town the next day very easy. Sam was a great host and a gent of a man who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and we felt very comfortable staying in his place. 5* Sam, we hope to be back again some day. We loved our stay at this quaint and cosy cottage. Although it's remote its in easy driving distance of some great walks and lovely scenery and is perfectly situated for a peaceful break. Udeal for two of us and our dog. Peter was a super host giving us some grrat local info and leaving us a nice welcome pack. We didn't want to leave and will certainly return.

Mark place was so peaceful and relaxing ,we enjoyed the surroundings the dogs love it as well , alot to do if you like surfing and walking 😀definitely recommend.

Booked very last minute but arrived to beautiful warm home from home . Mary even popped in with fresh milk, eggs & bread ! Tea coffee cereal etc all available too ! Husband Morgan popped over - they live next door - a couple of times to ensure everything was ok!

Our stay at this charming old pub cottage on the Beara Peninsula was nothing short of magical. The cozy atmosphere, rich history, and stunning coastal views made it the perfect retreat. The cottage was well-equipped, warm, and full of character, with a fireplace that made for wonderfully relaxing evenings. The surrounding landscape was breathtaking, offering scenic drives, coastal walks, and friendly local pubs. Our host was welcoming and provided great recommendations for exploring the area. If you’re looking for an authentic and peaceful Irish getaway, this place is an absolute gem!

I booked Josephine's lovely home for my husband's birthday. We were all delighted with the cottage. It is the first time we have stayed there, it certainly won't be the last. Despite the temperatures being below freezing the cottage was toasty warm and so cosy. It was spotlessly clean throughout with nice, comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything that we needed.. We loved the surrounding countryside and sea views. Josephine was easily contacted and very friendly and helpful. Thank you for having us to stay Josephine. We had a wonderful weekend and we're a little sad to leave.

A magical place. We felt immediately at home, the cabin has a lovely cosy feel, amazing views. You need a car to get there but we had surprisingly good weather so were able to stroll down into Baltimore and back -around 40 mins each way. But the taxi service is very handily close by. Kitchen was equipped well to cook the great food we picked up in Skibbereen. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend!

We had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

A comfortable, warm and cozy cabin with hot tub. Has everything you need, fridge, cooker/oven/TV with Netflix (although I signed out by mistake so if you’re from N.I stick with the hosts profile or you won’t be able to watch it. I didn’t want to bother them for their log in details) Nice wee porch area with swinging chair (loved it!) and a fire pit. Would be lovely if the weather was on your side, unfortunately it rained while I was there but would def stay again.

We really enjoyed the character of the cabin and the wild, beautiful mountain surroundings. Renate was there to meet us and was very helpful with local recommendations. We were also visited by her very friendly cat Lucy, who was a lovely bonus! Would 100% recommend to all and we hope to visit again. Also a very warm and cosy cabin. Excellent

We could never thank you enough for the welcoming and captivating atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and the landscape is stunning. The cabin was super cozy!

Everything was perfect, beautiful location with pubs and restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. We spent NYE at the cabin and loved every minute of it.

This stay was exactly what we were looking for. Very calm and private location. Cold plunges and sauna were a great treat! Arthur is a very responsive host and even gave us great recommendations for takeaways in the area. Very enjoyable stay!

The place has an excellent location, 10 min drive to Wexford town. The cabin was great, very cozy, comfortable bed, lovely and warm. Paula was super nice and friendly 👍🏻 . I do recommend her place! ☺️
