We had the most amazing time at Will’s home. It’s exactly as described. The home is so cozy and has everything you could ever need. We cooked in and went to a few of his recommended restaurants. Will was extremely responsive from booking to departure. We hope to stay again. Perfect location and the hot tub and deck are fabulous!

Tom is a super friendly host with a lovely home. We really enjoyed the views from the cabin and the deck amenities (hot tub, string lights, grill). The porch right inside had a great sitting area and view of the lake during the day. This was also very close to a number of things, including Ann Arbor, which was really convenient.

Went with my family of 5, was a very spacious cottage with amazing view. Was really nice to enjoy nature and the views. Would definitely like to return during the summer to enjoy the kayaks.

We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. I had a very relaxing time here. My inquiry was responded to very quickly. I booked roughly 2 hrs before check in. Same day booking. I had no problems at all. The home is set up for guests. From nightlights in the bathroom and hallway to their coffee stand with different coffees, syrups, tea,etc. They even noticed I had a hard time lifting the hot tub top and sent someone over to help. I didn’t even have to ask. I don’t always feel at home some place new but I felt so comfortable and at home there. The owners are very kind and hospitable. I plan on returning for sure

The cabin was beautiful!! The view of the lake was fantastic. My friends and I went to a few of the restaurants that the host recommended and they were amazing!!

I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing and fun Fall getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The Cottage was everything we asked for- simple and cozy! The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous, coffee on deck started the days nicely and warm fires ended the nights!

Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my grandson’s 4th birthday. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped and the house is laid out for maximum privacy. We had a mix of early birds and night owls. Everyone was able to sleep peacefully while the others were in the living area.

This is one of the most well-appointed Airbnbs I have every stayed in, especially for someone who loves to cook! It was also very family friendly, as we had a one year old in tow. It is right on the lake and the view is so peaceful and blue. We came in cold weather so did not experience the water or the busy season, but it was perfect all the same. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Everything - furniture, appliances, etc. - were spotless and in good working order. There were spots to store things, so even though there were six of us (including a baby!) it never felt cluttered or messy. Lots of games provided and the attached all season porch was nice for reading or winding down at the end of the day. 11/10 stars!!!

Terry is very helpful, responsive, caring, and proactive. I enjoyed his place a lot and will recommend for any out of town guests. It’s very cozy, clean, and well-decorated. It was a perfect place for me to stay; close to the lake, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you for everything!

We throughly enjoyed staying at Jeff’s place. The house is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It is walkable to cute downtown Sylvania and grocery store. The house itself was very clean with modern amenities. Our family of four were very comfortable at the house. We would highly recommend this place.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lakefront property. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and went out of their way to accommodate us during a personal emergency. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It’s rare to come across such genuinely thoughtful and caring hosts. We’ll absolutely be staying here again whenever we’re in the area.

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! Wonderful hosts!! Perfect location for access to tranquility of the lake, hustle and bustle of Ann Arbor, and an easy drive to Frakenmuth for the holiday store! The cottage was cozy and perfect for our family with a 2 and 4 year old. The hosts had toys and books to entertain our littles and the space was perfect for us to simply relax as a family. The hosts also went out of there way to offer toddler amenities so we didn’t have to bring extra since they have toddlers as well! In addition, the water filter system broke before we got there and they provided water for our family! Absolutely wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely look into staying there again if we find ourselves in the area!
