Our stay here was amazing. The hosts were super helpful and responsive, allowing us to switch our days when a schedule conflict came up. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The home was perfect, with plenty of room for our family of four with the pull-out beds. Our kids loved the pool and we enjoyed a fire one evening by the creek. We would most definitely stay here again!

Calm and peaceful stay at the cabin! Gorgeous views of the river, excellent fire pits, close proximity to the Shut-Ins and Elephant Rock. We had a great time. One thing isn't like the pictures... there's an AMAZING new tub in the upstairs bedroom!

This clean and welcoming bungalow sit in a quiet little town it is a short drive from so many outdoor activities! The friendly residents of Ironton were generous with advice about off the beaten path excursions and a little known gems. Just stop in the local coffee shop or one of the local delis or restaurants and tell them that you are in town for outdoor fun. Good grocery options within walking distance made cooking in the nice kitchen at the bungalow and option for staying in and saving money some nights. The hosts were very responsive to needs, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. The coffee bar was a real highlight!

Fantastic, peaceful and private location, close to state parks. Comfortable and clean cabin, stocked with all the necessities. Host was extremely communicative and accommodating. We had to alter our stay due to weather and the host accommodated graciously. Had a wonderful trip thanks to where we stayed. 100/10, would recommend and stay again.

this was the first time staying here, and we will definitely be back. Dawn is so sweet! the place is exactly like the pics, and the pavilion was great! we did a float trip, and Dawn had a list of several places that would pick us up and drop us off back at the house. it was and amazing weekend filled with great memories! thank you, so much!

The view is better than you could imagine. If you like outdoors and getting away, this is the place. Had fun at the river, had fun with target practice, had fun with the ATV's. If it were a little later in the warm season, I bet the fishing would have better too! Great Place.

We've been coming to the Black River for years but this was our first time staying at this home. It's beautiful, super clean, comfortable furniture and beds, best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental, amenities for all types of weather, plenty of firewood (and delivered more when we were low), pick up by Black River Outfitters at Horseshoe Ranch for our perfect float day, close to river access for lazy river days. and a very short drive (or close enough to walk, if you felt like it) to Lenny's, Jack's, and a couple restaurants. We loved our stay and hope it's available next year when we come down!

Lucy communicated with us several times. She made sure that we had the ability to contact her once we arrived if needed. The furnishings were clean, attractive, and comfortable. Neighbors were very friendly.
