We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

Great, clean cabin on a nice bay on Oxbow Lake. The cabin is secluded and an overall great experience. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay, was used for a snowmobile trip. The kitchen had everything you needed for preparing meals. The basement was a great place for keeping all our snowmobile gear. Very clean and well maintained, would definitely book this place again. Host was also great to work with. 5⭐️

The place was comfy cozy and peaceful. The Northern lights were incredible right from the deck!

This comfy cottage will now be our “go to” for any adventure travel to the Ironwood area. We have never stayed in an Airbnb as well appointed or cleaner! Sue has thought of everything one could possibly need. She is a warm and friendly hostess who is extremely responsive to any question or request. The homemade bread and farm fresh eggs were an “over-the-top” addition. She also brought us “warm from the oven” chocolate chip cookies. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Convenient location, sweet simple and clean home. Appreciated the great communication and well stocked kitchen, big tv, convenient check in. No complaints. Thanks very much!

A friend and I stayed for 3 nights. From the moment we stepped into the house we were beyond excited. The trippy lights were on and music was playing. The place was amazing! We enjoyed the vinyl selection, the vibe, the decor…everything!! There was a snow storm and we didn’t even care!! But, that being said…we were plowed out early in the morning so we could leave, even tho we didn’t want to. We have decided to make this an annual thing. We loved it so much! Thank you!

Such a great location! We just visited Applefest and the Annex is only 11 minutes away. We absolutely loved walking down to the beach, it’s a little private walk down the hill to a secluded beach with beautiful rocks and sea glass. The Annex #1 was the perfect size for two people, and so clean. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a very relaxing stay at the cabin right on Lake Superior. The location was perfect to visit nearby Bayfield. The unit had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The host had amazing communication and we look forward to staying in one of their properties in Bayfield next summer.

We had a great stay at Sundance apartment for a quick ski race weekend at Snowriver- Jackson Creek which was just up the road (I wouldn’t walk with ski gear, but it’s just a minute or two to get there by car). The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable- it was modern and updated which can be hard to find in the area. We arrived in a whiteout snowstorm and were still able to find the place with ease following the provided directions. We had two small children with us and it was a comfortable size for our family of four. Also to note— a pack n play fit easily in the bedroom which was very helpful. Would recommend this spot and would be happy to return if we’re in the area in the future!

This is a very nice apartment and we enjoyed our stay here. Accurately described, but I still was pleasantly surprised when seeing it in person. Charming older home on a huge lot and large parking area. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, silverware, appliances, etc. We had our young dog with and I appreciated the solid swinging door between the kitchen and living area, allowing me to confine my dog in the kitchen with me while others slept. There was also a large yard for dog walking. But in winter, the snow's pretty deep and the road is pretty busy. So I needed to drive out somewhere to give my dog a mile or 2 walk. Although the upstairs tenants were very quiet and respectful, you could still hear footsteps above. Not a problem if you keep "normal" hours. Hope our pup's yipping some didn't disturb them!

This was a perfect secluded getaway in the Northwoods even in the winter. I took a week to work during the day. No issues with Internet connection. And in the evening enjoyed my surroundings and the cozy home. And loved all the windows in the house! The woods on both sides and the lake on one side. The weekend I drove to Ironwood for live music and went hiking at a local trail down the road and then another day at Presque Isle River in Porcupine Mtn State Park. Loved the online handbook to the Airbnb. Finally I got stuck in the driveway due to some weather that came in and the messaged me if I need to be plowed out. I said no but I do need help with my car and the maintenance guys came the next day and took care of it while I was on my work call!! I was SO appreciative. great experience and I would definitely go back.

A perfect early winter hideaway. Being able to wake up and see the lake is a dream. The house was everything as described. It was pretty cold out, and the house remained cozy. Tom was friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations. Hope to return sometime.

Enjoyed a peaceful lakeside vacation. Went ice fishing and caught a 24" walleye at night. Perfect weekend and a beautiful view of the lake.

Our boys stayed at the cabin on a snowmobile trip. They enjoyed the cabin and the trip!

We had a great stay at Twin Rivers Resort! We came up with snowmobiles and had extremely easy access to the trails (no trailering) with many options on where to go. A super cute supper club was just next door with other bars and restaurants easy to access by sled or car ride. A couple of grocery store options within a short drive made things easy. The kitchen had everything you need and the cabin was cozy and relaxing after a long day of riding. Heidi was helpful and responded quickly when we reached out. We hope to return!

Excellent cabin close to restaurants/bars but far enough and quiet to enjoy the moon and stars and in my case snow falling in a perfect wintery scene. If you own or rent snowmobile this is an ideal location as well. Cabin is perfectly laid out to maximize space and has everything you need. Cabin was clean with lots of details and Chad & Amber are excellent hosts, they were very responsive. The sofa is comfortable and can be pulled out for additional sleeping. TV in living room and one located in 2nd bedroom with twin bedrooms. There is an outdoor sauna did not utilize but there are lights and speakers pretty cool. It is a fabulous cabin I would definitely book again!

Great week, perfect location for fishing, viewing colors, and the northern lights. Nice cozy cabin with all the amenities you need. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Hidden gem.

Our family really enjoyed a special Christmas Up North at Derek's family cabin. We cooked all of our meals and appreciated having a modern, updated kitchen. We stated many times "this kitchen is just our style" with the space, view of the lake, large undermount sink with amazing sprayer faucet, very nice stove and oven, excellent refrigerator and dishwasher. The butcher block kitchen island with counter-height barstool seating was perfect for baking Christmas cookies, decorating, talking, and again enjoying beautiful views of the wooded backyard and lake. The wood-burning fireplace in the living room is the best we have ever utilized at any home Up North so far!! Derek provides the first bundle and for the rest of the week, we shopped at Snow's Family Market only 15 mins drive away. The mattresses are so comfortable, the bedding is more luxurious with a cabin feel. We truly appreciate Derek and family's selflessness to open their gem of a home for others to create family memories.
