We felt right at home at Max's guesthouse, and it is a great value in a lush, peaceful spot! We felt like locals. Nice balcony, comfy bed, good shower and AC- and within 10-minute drive of good restaurants, beaches and Aguadilla waterfront. Max shared a great map of recs and was responsive to all concerns. We loved Surfer's Beach and hiking to Survival Beach and trekked down to Playuela in Cabo Rojo, Joyuda and Ricon. Brunch at Mona's and smoothies at Happy Bowls nearby were nice. Dogs are so sweet, but miiiight be your morning alarm when chasing cats. :) It was worth it for the affectionate welcome each time we came home. Thank you for a great stay!

The host was friendly and helpful since the beginning, it was an amazing experience. The place was relatively close to the beach and different restaurants.

The house has many rooms, perfect a small party or a large group (10+) people. There is parking in the property and the location is good with access to nearby restaurants and next door Walmart. You’ll need a car for easy access to the beach and tourist Attractions. The host was very friendly, proactive and always available to assist. I recommend this house for your home base stay if you want to stay away from the crowds and explore the area. I would stay here if visiting the tourist attractions in nearby towns. Thank You!

We had a very relaxing stay here. The indoor/outdoor setup is perfect in the beautiful climate of Utuado. The beds were very comfy, great table for eating meals or playing a game, super comfy chairs, what more could you need? Utuado is, to me, the most special and beautiful area of Puerto Rico. It’s magical. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay here and enjoy the nature on this property, as well as the surrounding area. I recommend visiting nearby Cañón Blanco as well as Caguana Taino site (wonderful for those interested in history and/or photography, this site is an absolute treasure). Be ready to drive carefully all over this area. The roads are narrow and twisty but if you go along with caution you will be fine. I also highly recommend ordering some home cooked meals as available through this rental. Carmen is a wonderful cook, the traditional Puerto Rican dinners hit the spot every night (foods such as stewed chicken, fried fish, rice with the broth on top, maduros, and always fresh foods accompanying along with desserts like flan). My husband is Puerto Rican and this was like his mother’s home cooking, soooo delicious.

Adam’s place was awesome—peaceful and tucked away in the middle of nowhere, perfect for a nature escape. He met us in person, gave us great recommendations that enriched our vacation, and even upgraded us for free to a more private glamping spot instead of the main house. The property is surrounded by nature—we saw three species of coqui, cane toads, Cuban tree frogs, anoles, and even a Puerto Rican screech owl! A truly unique and unforgettable stay.

¡El lugar es mágico! Tiene una vista espectacular. Aún en verano por las noches hace fresco y no hace falta AC con abanico basta. Adam nos facilitó muchas amenidades como abanico, sábanas, toallas, líquido de fregar, jabón de manos, sillas de playa, platos, cubiertos, ollas, etc. El dueño contestaba rapidito mis mensajes y nos buscaba formas para hacer que nuestra estadía fuese más cómoda. El lugar estaba limpio. Para alguien como yo que nunca había visitado a Utuado asusta un poco el camino, pero las instrucciones de Adam fueron claras. El GPS te deja en el kilómetro 5.9 (dónde doblas a mano izquierda y luego es subir por algunos 5 a 8 minutos hasta llegar a la finca), luego es seguir las indicaciones de Adam. Ver el video que él envía del camino, también ayuda a identificar ubicación de la finca.

Este es como mi La Quinta o sexta vez que me quedo en un Airbnb or VRBO y Este está en El primer Lugar en mi humilde opinion. La paz que estabas buscando la consegui. Los dueños tremendas personas les deseo exito.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The views are unmatched and Jose was the most gracious host. The property is set up like a boutique hotel with separate rooms that all open up to the pool area, probably not great for family’s with small children but for older kids and adults it was perfect. Any minor issues that arose Jose was right on it. He was extremely responsive and so kind. He stocked both refrigerators with drinks and brought us a snack when we arrived. The property was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The only thing I wish I knew ahead of time was that the owner would be staying on the property. Jose wasn’t a bother and wasn’t around the whole time but something I prefer to know in advance. Overall I would definitely recommend staying at Jose’s place and would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable mattress, efficient air conditioning and good safe parking for vehicle. A very helpful colleague/cleaning woman who helped us with direction during a late night checkin.

We had such a wonderful stay at Katherine’s place! The space was spotlessly clean and very accommodating. I would absolutely love to stay here again! Plus Millie was very helpful as well.

Alex was a gracious host and her place is just beautiful. I was there for a short time but she made me feel welcome and gave me cool recommendations (and sent me home with delicious coconuts!). The suite was comfortable and quiet, amazing for a night of deep rest. The area is peaceful and safe. I'll be coming back again to stay for a longer time and enjoy the area. Thank you Alex!

3rd time staying here. I will continue to come here when I come back to Puerto Rico. I feel super safe staying at Malissa home. The house and surroundings are clean and beautiful. Bed is comfy, AC is cold, hot water for shower, kitchen stocked with necessities. the area is quiet and peaceful. Love sitting under the Mango tree and relaxing. Everything you may need is nearby. Malissa is always quick to answer any questions and concerns. My niece loves the pool. We shared with the other guest and made new friends. Thank you Malissa for being a super host! The hosts are very nice people. They will always make their best to please everyone. The location is very peaceful and quiet. The pond facing the property has ducks, turtles and fishes. You can ride a pedal boat to enjoy the scenery even more. The pool has heated water. Many TV units.

Casa Loba was great for our family birthday celebration with a great location and modern. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Would recommend to all travelers to consider staying here.

Lovely small 2 roomed cottage at the back of a bungalow which is also an Airbnb. We loved the bright colours and the garden to sit out in. Although small the kitchen was good and we cooked 3 meals there. The bed was comfortable, the aircon worked well and there was hot water. We parked on the street although we could have brought it into the car port. We arrived early in Ponce and were allowed to check in early and met Victoria then who was very helpful. She appeared to do most of the cleaning and she is very meticulous about everything being clean and perfect for her guests. The place was quiet and the area seemed safe to us. Highly recommend the place.

Our stay was relaxing and peaceful. We loved the sounds of staying in the mountains and being right down the road from some amazing rock climbing. The yard and small grill were an added bonus!

It was a cute place, good for the price. There is a cute food stand a couple blocks away and a restaurant/bar a block in the other direction, both great vibes. Kind of a tricky area to get out of the neighborhood by rideshare, its not a tourist'y area. Still pretty centrally located to beaches and busier areas. Was unable to use the hot tub but the outside space was relaxing and set up nice. A little noise at night but not so bad, normal city-type sounds here and there and some local dogs. I would stay here again.

Staying with Francis, Maria and Coco was a highlight of our trip to PR. Their cozy cabin was close to the beach and we enjoyed the yard and the porch. It is a little hard to spot at night. The beach walk is a treasure and the cow in the back field was adorable. Francis was very helpful with my car tire and fresh cut coconut was a treat.

We loved our first stay in Jayuya! This was our 3rd trip to PR and was such a nice change of pace from the city. We loved the property, with all its plants and animals and AMAZING scenery. The pool is wonderful and the house is perfect! We cooked most nights, because we like to and the set up with the griddle outside is great! However, there are also a lot of great restaurants around and plenty adventures to be had. The hosts were extremely responsive and kind, even when we all had to work together to solve the mystery of the grouchy hot tub, hahaha. We would come back for sure and did not want to leave! Besos to the sweet, resident pup who helped make our stay even better! Going home to see our own dogs is only thing making our departure less hard!

Janet is the best host on point with everything. Whatever we needed !!!BAM!!! she came through. She made us feel like family. We had such a great time! Her place is perfect!

This is a perfect stay near rincon! The location is so convenient to Sandy Beach, and a short to rincon and other points of interest. The terrace is really beautiful, spacious, comfortable and private. We did yoga there everything day, as well as surfing at Maria’s beach merry everyday as well. So it was like a private yoga/surf retreat. Jose also was quite responsive. We had an issue with the hot water and he dealt with it right away. And when it didn’t reconcile, he offered a refund for a couple nights! Super generous, and he really put our needs first. I highly recommend!
