You can’t ever be disappointed with a stay at Allview Escapes . I came back ( after 18 years ) and fell more in love with this beautiful location and authentic accomodation. The owners love their property and it shows . The cottage was beyond cute and a sunrise morning cup of tea from the egg chair is an experience to be cherished !

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s place! From the beginning, communication was smooth and friendly. Karen was incredibly responsive and kind. The home itself is beautifully decorated, full of artistic touches that give it such a unique and welcoming feel. Everything from the bed to the furniture was super comfy. Highly recommend this lovely space to anyone looking for a cozy, stylish, and peaceful getaway!

The moment you step inside Kookawood you can see it's a labour of love. Hand built by the host and her husband and then lovingly curated (over what must have been years) both inside and out, to create an otherwordly escape that's equal parts French countryside, retro Australiana, whimsical bohemia and Vogue Living. Everywhere you look there's another beautiful item or another fabulous spot to curl up with a book or sit and soak in the view. It's difficult to pull off such maximalist decor well but this is just exquisite, somehow managing to be both super stylish and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor bath, friendly fox, open fireplace and fabulous views from every window were particular highlights. Meanwhile the kitchen is amply stocked and the beds were super comfy. Tens across the board! On a practical note, we have a fairly low-slung sports sedan and we found it handled the driveway absolutely fine, provided you pay attention.

Cabin 1 was super cozy with spectacular views! Louise was a lovely host — super helpful and accommodating, we really appreciate it! Will definitely book again!

The goat stable was so peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time and enjoyed the soft tinkling bells of the goats in the paddock just outside.

We had a wonderful time at Gaye and Derek’s. It was exactly as described - lovely, spacious and recently renovated. There were all kinds of extra touches - plenty of milk for our tea, teabags, cereal, yoghurt and fruit provided, and even coffee pods and a coffee machine. The beds and pillows were comfortable - we had everything we needed for our stay. Derek was also very helpful and welcoming, greeting us when we arrived and also saying hello in the morning before we departed. We had such a great time, we intend to return again soon!

Our extended family had the pleasure of staying in Helen’s place right as autumn was arriving. The red and yellows of the trees were quintessentially Blue Mountains. It was so special bird watching from the back verandah. Helen’s well-stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze and the whole house had everything we needed for a great weekend. Thanks so much!
