Holbox was more than I expected. Everything was within walking distance. The rental was in the best location with access to the best of beaches. It was very clean with fresh bathroom towels and beach towels provided. The sheets were changed and unit cleaned daily. Absolutely beautiful place to visit, the location was key. It was close enough to the center but far enough away for complete privacy and peace. Right in the backyard was the beach area that I found to be the most amazing of all the beaches I visited. Wonderful stay! I highly recommend! Additionally, the transportation package recommended, to and from the airport, was perfect and I didn't have to worry about that piece. I could just relax.

It is so hard to leave a simple review on Cecilia’s listing. This place is out of description. You just want to cry when leaving holbox. If you want to enjoy the island the best imaginable way, Cecilia’s is the place to be. It has been very hard to leave as every single minute was so wonderful. Todo estuvo excelente, tal como en la descripción, a solo unos metros de la embarcación y unos minutos de la playa. Se encuentra en la calle principal de Holbox lo que lo hace todo accesible. Me encantó todo. Sin dudar volvería a hospedarme en Casa Barbara

Wonderful location, at the same block you can find mini markets and delicious street food like marquesitas, esquites tacos and Argentine food, close to public beach (Holbox letters), near Holbox park

It was a great stay in Holbox. Steps away from the most beautiful beach and a couple blocks from all the downtown restaurants. For the price, you get a lot with Macondo.

Holbox Dream is a wonderful little hotel, located on the beach and in the perfect location to town, but not too crowded or busy feeling. We can't say enough good things about the amazing staff who went out of there way to ensure that all our needs were met...while planning our trip and throughout our stay. The rooms are simple, clean, comfortable and all are in close proximity to the beach, the pools and the hotel restaurants. And speaking of restaurants, the food and drinks were great! On a personal note, we were traveling with our 17 year old son who has disabilities and this trip was quite difficult for him. He stayed up all night the first night and we are certain he kept up other guests. We asked the staff if we could move to a room where others might not be able to hear him if he had more rough nights and they were able to rearrange to meet our needs. When he continued to have difficulties, they offered to switch us to their sister property, Serenity Tented Camp located between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum, because it had stand alone accommodations. As much as my husband and I loved Holbox, we knew this would be better for our son, so we transferred there. Like Holbox Dream, the Tented Camp had amazing staff, the accommodations were fabulous (really cool tented camp...and I have been on safari in Kenya, these are well done) and the beach club and the food were great! And our son finally slept. We highly recommend their tented camp as well.

Great location and setting. Staff extremely welcoming and accommodating of our multiple requests! Food was excellent, and you really can’t beat waking up and walking 20 metres to the sea.

Casa dos Estrellas is on a beautiful part of Holbox. The room and shared areas are gorgeous. The caretakers extremely friendly and helpful. The walk into Holbox along the beach is lovely at low tide, a little more adventurous when tide is a bit higher but totally doable. There’a plenty of nice restaurants nearby tho, so you wouldn’t need to leave the area if you didn’t want to. Maybe do a grocery shop on your way in, tho if you don’t plan on going back and forth. Elizabeth is very communicative and easy to reach if needed.

Muy buen alojamiento en relación precio-calidad. Muy limpio, las sabanas y toallas olían rico y tiene lo necesario para sentirse cómodo y recorrer la isla. La pileta muy limpia!

It was just perfect!

Everything was easy and wonderful from beginning to end staying at this place. The only thing that we were unaware of was that it was Carnaval...4 days of nonstop loud music until 4 or 5am. This is no fault of the hosts!!!...simply bad timing on our part. Although this hotel isn't right next to the event grounds, we could hear the music blaring every single night as if it was being held on our balcony. This room and property is beautiful and constructed with nature's material and therefore not sound proof when big nearby celebrations are held. The hosts are very gracious and friendly. We would stay there again, but definitely pick different dates do we could actually sleep and relax at night. Perfect location close to centro and near the beach.

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Muuch. The location was excellent, pretty calm and see front. The room was comfortable and really clean. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We really appreciated the service. We would like to give a special thanks to María, who handled our reservation. She was very kind, professional, and always had a solution for everything. Highly recommended!

Vanessa was great at greeting us and solving all our requests. The cooking staff were friendly and helpful. The lemonades are great. The bed and pillows are very confortable - 5 star level.

El lugar es tal como se muestra en las fotos. Cerca de la playa, el centro, con entrada independiente y se llega con facilidad siguiendo las instrucciones. La limpieza y los elementos que ofrecen están perfectos. El anfitrión y sus colaboradores muy amables.

Great location, place was clean. The only thing I’d suggest is let people know there is no elevator for disability access. The place was really clean
