Wonderful place for a relaxing stay. Absolutely stunning scenery, and such a cosy spot. It was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog, too - he was in heaven running around, and having Sarah be so accommodating with him allowed us to relax even more. Lovely touches throughout like candles, and the fire ready to go if we needed it! The outdoor bath was also a fabulous treat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

Shipping Container Cabin by the Clutha

We loved our weekend at the Cabin. The rural situation was peaceful with a great outlook. We used the Clutha Gold track to bike into Roxburgh and loved the ride. We'd definitely like to go back and enjoy a bath under the stars.

Old Man Vineyard Cottage.

The cottage is part of a working vineyard, and one finds serenity and feels restful. It is exactly as described. Jen was a wonderful and thoughtful host -- she was responsive, esp. when we brought to her attention small glitches that are bound to happen despite the best of intentions, and she promptly help us to take care of the small glitches and even added a surprising personal touch to make our stay that much more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay; we got to explore the Central Otago wineries, and got to enjoy the sunset at the cottage sitting on the porch in the back. Jen's cottage is between Alexandra and Clyde, and within short driving distance to some great wineries and to other parts of Central Otago. I find Alexandra an easy and pleasant city to shop for produce if needed. I look forward to staying with Jen again if I visit Central Otago in the future.

We really enjoyed this accomodation. It is really cute and comfortable. Everything is made by Karen to feel well !!!! Thanks again for the milk, the vegetables and all the other things. It was a great attention. The bedrooms are cosy and there are plenty of activities, games and films if you want a chill evening in family or with friends. It was a sincere and true pleasure

Hillside Retreat & Woodstoked Hot Tub

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and relaxing place. The hot tub is amazing, and the personal touch of checking in to see if/when we wanted it lot every day was really kind. Whether it’s watching the stars by night or staring at the view by day, this is the perfect spot to do it from - comfortable and well-equipped.

Such a lovely abode! Steve & Jane have built a beautiful space & you can tell alot of thought and effort has gone in to providing a comfortable and relaxing experience for guests. The homemade jams & other condiments were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend!

Magical loft among the trees - Homewood Retreat

It’s not often I’m lost for words. What an incredible, magical property. It’s very private, hidden amongst the trees. The architecture is something else - absolutely unique and rustic. Lots of intriguing details and a wonderful leather couch draped with sheepskins. The lovely hosts were super welcoming. We enjoyed exploring the property.

We needed to stay in Gore but prefer to be a little out of town for some peace so this was perfect. 5 minutes away from the shops/cafes/restaurants, clean and tidy, pleasant hosts!

Jessie was an amazing host, the house was just perfect. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day of adventure racing!

Grey Ridge Vineyard Suite: wines-vines-luxury.

What a wonderful stay! Our only wish was that we could stay longer. The views from the vineyard are gorgeous, and we arrived early for a walk around the vineyard with the owner, which was a delight. The dinner was an extra cost, but so nice not to have to drive elsewhere when we had a view like that. There was a little seating area and a fridge, so when our daughter slept, we enjoyed a glass of wine and recap to our day - it was perfect! The fixtures and bedding are exceptional, and the home is luxurious for the price.

Lovely little town of around 100 people . Great meals and friendly pub and cafe. House was perfect for what we wanted . The area has fantastic fly fishing with access to local guides and good access to multiple sites along multiple rivers .

The gumboot lodge

Maggie’s place was absolutely wonderful, you don’t get hospitality like this anymore. The food was plentiful and delicious. We opted for the cooked dinner and it did not disappoint! The area was peaceful and we loved the dogs on the property. I would love to stay again, absolutely recommended!

Adorable 1 - bedroom chalet Self-contained

What a beautiful little chalet! It was bigger than I thought it would be. I slept like a rock, had a wonderful outdoor bath watching the stars, and breakfast was delicious.

Patrick’s Cottage in Gore was the perfect home away from home. Extremely clean with all the creature comforts of home. Patrick was quick to respond to messages and was very easy to deal with. Close to the CBD on a lovely quiet street. 10/10

Bach on Killarney

The Bach is a great private spot with loads of space to stretch out. Inside is well presented and comfortable. Outside is perfect to hang out with the kids in the shade of the fruit trees, or for some time together on the deck. For a stress free stay visit the Bach on Killarney.
