If you are looking for a peaceful, serene place to relax, this is it. Stunning views, quiet neighborhood; low traffic. Large deck with amenities, kitchen stocked with starter food, spices and drinks. The king bed mattress was perfect and the flannel sheets cozy. Lots of living space with several rooms allows you could spread out and work, read, sit by the fire. It all adds up to a perfect sabbatical from life!

Linda's place was immaculate inside and out. It is a beautiful, cozy home with tasteful finishes. The surrounding property was meticulously kept with beautiful landscaping throughout. We really enjoyed wandering around, admiring all of the plants, scenery, and birds. Linda was very accommodating to my family and our last-minute booking. She went above and beyond as a host. We wish we could have stayed longer, but will keep this place in mind for the next time we are in the area.

We had a relaxing & comfortable month long stay while waiting for our 3rd grandbaby to arrive. The views are spectacular, just when we thought it couldn’t be more beautiful we got snow that we very much loved, we appreciated all the wildlife and being so close to everything in either direction was really nice. The home is very well stocked with just about everything you need during your stay. We look forward to book again soon and highly recommend.

Made a last minute request to stay that was answered within minutes. The quiet is spectacular and far more than “a suite”. A full kitchen, living and dining area with separate bathroom and bedroom. Views views views!! Right above Discovery Bay and front and center to gorgeous sunsets. A plethora of condiments, coffee, tea and snacks. Bed and bedding was super cozy! Everything was nice quality and the craftsmanship of the space was really special. Darrell and Carlene have created a wonderful space to share with others. Grateful for my experience and looking forward to returning soon!

Our stay was great! House was very comfortable for our family of four. It was centrally located for exploring the Puget Sound area. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment, including coffee maker and Keurig. Lots of board games and televisions in each room. The fire pit table on the porch was perfect for chilly morning relaxing.

Rita was so sweet the entire time. Before we had even arrived she made sure we had reservations for the ferry over and even made a map of where the house was as GPS didn't like to find it. The room was spacious and cozy and had great privacy. Rita also had some wonderful chats with us, and on the day we checked out brought us freshly baked scones to take with us. She was an absolutely wonderful host and we plan on staying with her again when we come back to the island.

Thank you for the stay. It was perfect for my group. Nice secluded location with a serene lake setting.

Stayed here with a group of longtime girlfriends for an extended weekend - a trip we take every January to recharge after being “magic makers” during the holidays. A total of 14 of us slept here comfortably, most in beds and some on air mattresses. (Doubles can be a little cozy for two.) The house felt much larger than the photos, the kitchen was lovely, and the late night fire outside in the crisp chilly January winter air was just right. Would absolutely come back!!!
