Fantastic, extremely comfortable and wonderful home directly on the beachfront. Very comfortable beds which is always a huge plus and a fully equipped kitchen and outside grill. We were hoping to see whales and we were not disappointed - watching the Gray Whales feeding just off the deck was a real treat, not forgetting of course the ducks, seals and eagles adding all into the mix of what made a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. If we come back, can we pre-order some otters too?

Sara’s home exceed our expectations in every way. I’ve stayed in dozens of Airbnbs over the years and this home/property tops the list! It was clean, well stocked, tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished, quiet, and the location and view are spectacular. I would give this place 10-stars if it were an option. These exceptional hosts anticipate the needs and comfort of their guest and the attention the detail shine through every inch of this home. I would go back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Master bedroom is quite magical. Big windows to view the water and automatic blinds for the night throughout the home. New bathrooms and kitchen. Pleasure to cook in. Great beds and linens. Wood burning fireplace for the winter/fall visits. Would love to stay again in the summer months and enjoy the firepit outside and kayaks. Wonderful property. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

I can’t describe how much I loved staying in this cabin. The view every day was just breathtaking no matter what the weather was like. The kitchen had everything you wanted and more. The shower upstairs was nice and new and the cabin although older had been remodeled beautifully and comfortably. They were extremely thoughtful in every way. Stina was a delight to communicate with and very helpful in everyday. I wish I could stay in this place for a year! Only thing to note is there’s no bedrooms on the main floor. My great aunt and her two 13 months old grandkids visited for 2 nights and it was too hard for her to navigate the stairs so they slept on the floor in the living room which felt like a slumber party anyways. Even she was in love with the cabin. Thr drive is a short way to Langley with all the restaurants, to the ferry, and to bayview with more to offer. Overall this was my favorite airb&b to stay EVER!

I walked into this house and instantly wished I lived there for the view. The property is amazing, the house was clean and organized, welcoming, comfortable, and great for spending time with loved ones. The master bed was very comfortable, as well as the full sized bunk beds we had adults sleeping on sharing rooms with their kiddos. Instructions for check-in/ out were clear and easy to follow, and easy directions for taking care of the house and hot tub. We were warned there were a lot of stairs and they could be icy, and they were no problem, just pack light if you can if you want to minimize trips up and down the stairs. We viewed it as a great workout! Thank you for the stay, we will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. The view from the patio and the living room is just breathtaking and so relaxing. Having stayed at many Airbnbs we were pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the kitchen was! Made for easy meal prep.

Great location, cute house. The baseboard heat couldn’t quite keep up with the cold and dampness. The hot tub and ample blankets made it very pleasant. Really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is very comfortable, peaceful and has a gorgeous view! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, visiting the beaches and watching sunsets from the covered porch. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept great! Husband especially loved the turntable and awesome record collection! A word of caution if you have any mobility issues- there are several steps up to the front door from where you park on the street. We enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I loved Peggy's cottage, it was a beautiful place with gorgeous view, we really enjoyed our stay, will definitely visit again. Highly recommend :)

This place was so lovely. We had a great time celebrating New Year's with our dogs. The beach is literally right off the back. Lots of bird and sea creature watching to be had out the huge windows. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. Loved the little touches like the dog toys and dog bed for our pups. We would stay here agin in a heartbeat!

this is a little gem which doesn't look like much on the outside, and bam! adorably decorated within. it was the only area house with a king size bed for my daughter's very tall man, so it made for a lovely comfortable sleep. it overlooks the great Driftwood Shores community and its bay-quiet. A little high priced for 2 people in a Camano Island cottage but I paid it willingly for my daughter and her guy to be near me with privacy, for their visit. glad it was available and I'll definitely look for it next time family comes.

This was a lovely location. Quiet and peaceful other than airplane drills which was expected. I had not realized that it was a three story place and one guest has bad knees so that was a negative for us. The ground floor has a bedroom (with sliding glass door), bathroom and living area, the second floor has the kitchen, bathroom, living area (with piano) and main entry, the loft has another sleeping area. The kitchen was mostly well appointed. The driveway is a little challenging to see at first but once we knew where it was it was fine.

Beautiful location! The path to the home has beautiful views through the quaint & unique little community. We loved the quiet morning beach stroll & the fire pit views in the evening. The hosts were kind & welcoming. There are a few off leash dogs in the communuty but recalled by owners. Such a great little weekend spot to relax & unwind.

My husband and I stayed for a long anniversary weekend and absolutely loved the cabin! Location was absolutely lovely, with the waterfront just a short walk around the corner- the sunsets were fantastic. The backyard is quiet and secluded, with beautiful foliage and hummingbirds. The house was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

Great spot. All as listed. Small and perfect for my daughter and my small dog. We took beach walks and a few hours in la connor. We enjoyed the fire in the stove as well. We would love to come back!

I proposed to my girlfriend here and it was perfect. Lovely place for a romantic weekend.

Nice cozy little A-frame on Camano Island. Fully stocked kitchen. Grocery store and a couple restaurants close by. Don't forget your Discover Pass for the state parks. Great place for the 3 of us and our 2 pups!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Although we initially had a bit of trouble locating the house due to a couple of nearby properties with similar addresses, a friendly local helped us find our way. This minor hiccup aside, everything else was smooth sailing. The house was perfect for our group of 7, which included 5 adults and 2 kids. The view of Puget Sound was breathtaking. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and it was a pleasant surprise to find it stocked with items we had forgotten to bring. The playroom, complete with a billiards table, arcade games, and numerous jigsaw puzzles, kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. One small disappointment was that we couldn't use the kayaks as the gates were locked due to seasonal reasons. However, there were enough other activities to keep us busy and we had a wonderful family staycation. Overall, our stay was awesome, and we would definitely love to come back here!

We loved this beautiful home and location - exceeded expectations in every way possible. Thank you to AvantStay for a wonderful retreat - and for the pizza too! Such a unique, lovely touch. Even though we're home now, I am still feeling the ambiance of that luxurious place and the quiet solitude of Goss Lake at the end of winter. We were blessed to be there.

Our family of three loved this place. It was the perfect place to stay for our Thanksgiving Holiday. The "cabin" was so cozy. It had a wood burning stove which we took full advantage and beautiful lake views from the living room and primary room. Also, (and a must for me), the house is as photographed and described - completely renovated - with an open and airy layout. As noted by another reviewer, the kitchen is small but mighty, well stocked and has separate zones for cooking and coffee. For example, it had a rolling pin, which was perfect for making Christmas cookies. The location was also perfect for us. It was close to the ferry and to many beautiful parks. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay here again.

We had a great stay! The view and yard were amazing and we spotted an orca just after we arrived! The kitchen was well stocked, the house had plenty of space to hang out and to spread out. Beds were comfy, there were lots of towels, extra blankets and all the little details were thought of.

This is a beautiful cabin with great water views. The rooms were comfortable and the local host was very responsive.

I cannot say enough to express how serene and beautiful this property is. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for three months. I kept having to be reminded by my friends and family that this was not our home lol. It has everything you could want or need during your stay. You literally feel like you are in a private park in a beautiful log cabin. Nothing but nature. Was so happy that we were able to spend the holidays here and to see the first snow of the season. You won’t want to ever leave.🥰. Would 150% stay here again. The owners are lovely people, very accommodating and willing to help in any way they can!!! A must stay.
