Second time staying at this property and it’s a lovely experience and lovely area off the beaten path. Very quiet and clean. I’m appreciative of the hospitality that both Sharon and Stephen showed me. Will be going back for a 3rd time in the future.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The condo was beautiful and the most well stocked air bnb we have ever stayed in. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The location is perfect. We felt comfortable and at home. We would absolutely stay again.

We stayed in the volcano room for a few nights and it was great, perfect for two of us. The room has everything you need and is very well thought out for the space and very clean and comfy, also has a cool theme. We felt very welcome here and safe. I would Definitely recommend this place. We had a fun memorable time. Thanks Yoko and Rocco 🤙

Yoko and Rocco have created a serene, peaceful private hideaway, which puts the guest's comfort front and center. The Ocean Studio matches the description and more. I felt completely taken care of. From the small details, like your own personal water cooler. To very helpful information in the house manual, which includes great suggestions on things to do, good beaches and how to find them, and local stores/places to eat. To Yoko and Rocco's warm, friendly, responsive communication. The Studio has a comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower (and option of a bath should you need a soak after a day exploring the Big Island), and a well set up kitchen with everything I needed including delicious complementary Kona coffee. And a quiet private courtyard space to yourself. The location is convenient, best if you have a car (recommended anyway for the Big Island). An easy walk to the shoreline to enjoy the sunset. I thoroughly recommend this stay.

Kathleen's place is an easy walk to restaurants and activities in Kona. The pool area was clean and not crowded when we were there. We utilized the beach chairs, snorkel gear, and cooler that were available.

We had a lovely and cozy stay! The place was just what I needed—comfortable, clean, and peaceful. Rocco and Yoko were amazing hosts—so friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with.

Everything works, kitchen facilities good, it’s little over an hour to the Volcano National Park, you get a little concerned driving in because of the number of abandoned cars in the neighborhood, but the actual location is good. Well worth the price and we enjoyed our stay.

This place is AMAZING, to say the least! If we could give it 10 stars, we would. Every single detail in this place is thought through. The quality of stay is as good as it gets. If you are looking for a top-notch place to stay on the Big Island, do not hesitate because you will not find a better place than this. The house is located close to great beaches, shopping and lots of restaurants.

3 nights is not enough! This place was centrally located to explore the northern part of the island and Mauna Kea mountain. A little private jungle all your own. With the sound of a waterfall as you sleep. Be prepared for roosters, cats, possibly a random pig and geckos! Great views from every room. We ate meals at the table on the covered porch every day. Only 45 mins from soft sandy beaches and 10 mins to grocery store. Don’t forget to check out the farmers markets on Sat/ Sunday. In the area. Cheaper than the stores! Bring your own beach towels . Home made soaps and fruits/chocolates were a nice touch. Thanks again! Looking forward to staying in the future.

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

Amazing retreat in the middle of a jungle! Scenic drive along the coast not far from the Airbnb.

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

I had an amazing stay at Jade’s place in Hilo! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, and the space was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The home had everything I needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy furnishings, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location was ideal—peaceful and surrounded by Hilo’s natural beauty, yet conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and stunning beaches. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the lush surroundings was a highlight of my trip! Jade was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations that made my stay even better. Her attention to detail and hospitality truly made me feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hilo. Mahalo, Jade, for a wonderful experience!

The house was perfect for our short stay. Loved the location right on the ocean.

We had a wonderful stay at the Condo- The space was updated and ideal for the 2 of us. Comfortable furnishings, bed, and AC. The Lanai is right on the ocean facing west, amazing sunsets, waves and the rocks that tumble into the ocean are full of beautiful yellow tang fish. We even saw a full whale breach! Wendy provides all you need, Snorkle gear, boogie boards (great boogie board beach next door), lawn chairs, cooler and clubs for golfing. Kitchen is well stocked even with food containers and baggies, etc. no need to buy coffee filters, it’s a basket. She even starts you off with some Carmel roasted coffee if you’d like. The pool is lovely, there are grills for you to use. You can walk right into town with all the restaurants and shops. Wendy will give you ideas for where to Snorkle, eat, and tours. She’s extremely responsive and a delight! It was our 1st time on the Big Island and we hope to return!

A perfect place with a stunning view. So close to the ocean and very walkable to downtown. Squeaky clean and updated. The home is stocked with everything you might need including kitchen staples, excursion supplies and bath products. The pool and ocean front area are lovely. Quiet and peaceful. Steve is very responsive.

We had another lovely stay at this delightful Kona condo. The accommodations were wonderful, with everything we needed and more. The view was beautiful, and we loved spending time on the lanai taking it all in. The hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind, and we even enjoyed working on a puzzle together while listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. We'll return for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

Lori’s condo is amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer location on the beach, within an easy 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops of Kona. Five minute drive to Banyans and Lyman’s surf breaks too. We were so incredibly comfortable and the condo has everything you could possibly need. The description is right-on. We would definitely stay here next time.

What a lovely place!! We absolutely loved the views from the lanai and watched sunsets there every night. Would definitely stay again!!!

Wonderful place! The nightly sunset ceremony with the other residents gathered around the grounds was truly a looked forward to moment every evening. Condo was very clean; bed was comfortable, and the view was magnificent. There is AC but with the screen door we had a breeze coming through the living room most of the time and never even needed the AC unit. Kona Dave is a delight to have as a host. Very attentive and has a vast wealth of anything and everything to see and do on the big island! Will plan on a return visit.
