Francesco war sehr freundlich, schnell und flexibel. Typisch italienische Hilfsbereitschaft und Gastfreundschaft. Die Wohnung ist toll, sehr ruhig, sauber und perfekt zum Entspannen. Wir waren zu zweit dort und hatten daher extrem viel Platz. Auch zu viert kann man dort ganz sicher sehr gute Tage verbringen.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der schönen und grossen Villa von Francesco sehr genossen. Sowohl die Villa, wie auch der phantastische Pool waren blitzsauber. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und angenehm und die Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Villa ist somit sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Wohnung ist hell, modern und sehr gut eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zentrum ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt in alle Richtungen. Die Bushaltestelle/der Busbahnhof befindet sich unmittelbar an dem Haus und von der Terrasse aus zu hören. Grundsätzlich hat Sizilien ein massives Problem mit Müllentsorgung, was in manchen Vierteln leider deutlich zu sehen ist.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sebastianos house. The surrounding is very quiet and relaxing. The pool well maintained and refreshing. Everything is available (oil, salt, pepper, coffee etc), if you want to use the kitchen. There is also a nice outdoor kitchen and a BBQ, if you’re eager to cook on your own. Syrakus is only 15 mins away with the car and nice sand beaches could be found in Avola. You‘ll definitely need a car, as the house is out of reach of any public transport. Sebastiano was very kind and responsive. We would book it again! :-)

Wonderful hosts with an amazing property in an ideal location. We didn't want to leave .... ever! :) Ada was fantastic from booking through check out. They offered fabulous recommendations and a beautiful home with the best of everything, including washer & dryer and valet parking! We cannot wait to return!! Highly recommended!!!

We spent a lovely week at this newly renovated villa. It was tastefully decorated, bright, with manicured ground and a pool. We also used the outdoor grill. The location was very convenient for accessing Syracuse and there are a few restaurants and beaches reachable on foot. The host was also very communicative and quick to address any issues. Would recommend as a base for exploring west Sicily.

We had a wonderful stay at Casal Sikelio! The place was clean with everything we needed, and the pool and gardens were beautiful! Antonio and the team at reception were so helpful, from checking us in, providing advice on places to go, and ordering us pizza to eat on the terrace. We can’t wait to come back to Sicily!

Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

Die Lage war herrlich ruhig und alles war mit wenigen Schritten erreichbar, die Wohnung war sauber und komplett ausgestattet. Der Vermieter war unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich, was meinen Aufenthalt sehr angenehm machte. Ich war rundum zufrieden und gebe gerne fünf Sterne!"

Salvatore is a reliable host. He was flexible when we needed an extra night due to changes in flight schedules and he offered us the possibility to store our baggage in the apartment for a few hours after check-out. We spent a lovely 10 days in Syracuse and enjoyed the views form the balcony.

We stayed for a week in Salvatore's house in Ognina and had a great time. Thehouse is quite special and was awarded with the first prize in an architecturalcontest. It is located in the back garden of the host and perfect to rest and lay-backafter your tours in the country or to Syracusa. Salvatore himself is a convivial host,ready to answer all your questions about the special island Sicily is.

Great location and place to stay in Siracusa. Carola was very responsive and helpful, would recommend staying here.

I felt so relaxed and comfortable here and Emmanuel was a wonderful and attentive host! Would stay here again!

Wir können uns den guten Bewertungen anschließen: toller Gastgeber, der direkt neben an wohnt, trotzdem hat man seine Privatsphäre, die Kinder haben es geliebt mit den Katzen im Garten zu spielen, die Unterkunft ist einfach aber sehr gut ausgestattet (insbesondere für Selbstversorger) und gemütlich eingerichtet, Ende März bei etwas nass kaltem Wetter schwierig die Feuchtigkeit aus der Wohnung zu bekommen aber keine Moskitos (wie von anderen erwähnt), mit dem Auto viele Möglichkeiten für Tagesausflüge in der Umgebung

Such a great place in a great city. Easy to walk around and can reach endless options of restaurants within few minutes. Great value for the location and plenty of space for my husband and I. Wonderful experience!

Loredana war stets per Handy erreichbar und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen herzlichen und netten Kontakt auf Englisch. Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderbar: toller Pool, wunderschöner Garten, rundherum eine Mauer bzw. Hecken, großes Wohnzimmer, gut ausgestattete Küche, ausreichendes Bad. Alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Kritik nur für das weiche Ehebett (für mich okay, für meinen Mann nicht) und die kleinen Kinderbetten. Für kleinere Kinder ausreichend, für größere Teenies nicht mehr. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, man braucht zum Einkaufen ein Auto. Schöne Strände liegen in der Nähe. Preis- Leistung ist hier top!

My family just spent a week at Villa Carmen (6 Adults and 1 dog) and really enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of space with an amazing outdoor area with a lovely pool. The location is perfect as it’s close to Ortigia and the coast where you’ll find some lovely restaurants. (You will need a car) The host Giuseppe was really friendly and is super responsive. He gave us some fantastic recommendations and was happy to accommodate anything we requested. Certainly recommended.

Très bon séjour chez Charlotte qui nous a très gentiment acceuilli. Il se situe en dehors du centre mais on est à Siracuse en moins de 10mn en voiture.On peut y garer sa voiture et le logement est bien séparé de celui de la propriétaire sur l'arrière de la maison.Lits confortables.Cuisine très bien équipée,avec les produits de 1eres nécessités et de quoi prendre notre petit-déjeuner pour le lendemain.Bbq et four à pizza à l'extérieur ainsi que table et chaises longues.Le + ,la belle piscine qu'on a pu utiliser même en avril. Supermarché à moins de 5mn à pied. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Alessandro und Valentina sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir reisten mit unserer kleinen Tochter Paula an (1< Jahr) und Alessandro hat uns alles zur Verfügung gestellt, was wir brauchten. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und Paula hat super geschlafen. Ein Babybett mit höhenverstellbaren Seiten, sodass man quasi ein Familienbett hat, einen Brei-Zubereiter, Mixer, Spielzeug, extra Decken zum Krabbeln - ganz herzlichen Dank dafür! Die Wohnung im EG liegt in einem traumhaften Garten, man kann direkt aufs Meer sehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

It’s a beautiful, modern villa with an infinity pool and gorgeous terrace, 10 minutes by car from Siracusa. You most definitely need your own transport but if you do, it’s easy to find restaurants etc that are a short car drive away. Would recommend Cava Grande, which is about 45 minutes away (Carrubella hike) and the beautiful nature reserve on the Southern coast. Definitely worth the trip to Mount Etna as well (a couple of hours in the car)

Place is a bit difficult to find as the airbnb app sends you to a different location than where it actually is. Double confirm with the host to get the right location. Lots of space. Rooms were kept well. The on site person was fun and helpful. Some of the outside furniture and umbrellas etc need replacing as there are falling apart, This is the only real criticism I have. The kitchen is fantastic for cooking for a large group like us! Plenty of communal places to sit inside and outside to eat and talk. Thanks Martina for the flexible check in and check out times! You made our weekend extra special!

Together with our 3 year old child, we spent a total of 10 days at Andrea’s house. We felt very comfortable in the apartment the entire time. Andrea welcomed us very nicely when we arrived and showed us everything. Kindly enough, water, coffee, milk, etc. were ready for us upon arrival. The apartment and the garden were clean and well-kept and the pool was always a nice cool down for us. When our child got sick, Andrea supported us a lot and even organized a doctor's appointment with his pediatrician. Thank you very much! But we also always got a quick and helpful answer to questions and tips. Aranelle is a tranquil place with beautiful beaches and a good starting point for excursions to Noto, Syrakusa, nature reserves and other beaches in the southeast. A car is always recommendable, especially since you are further away from interesting shopping opportunities.
