What a perfect place. Just what we needed. the house is gorgeous and spacious with breathtaking views. Its so well equipped, you just need to bring yourself really. We had a wonderful christmas and no doubt we will be back. The only minor thing was, the heating wasnt set on for our arrival, which should have been done. Instead, we were sat in freezing cold house the first evening. Overal, one of the best places we stayed so far.

Das Haus ist fantastisch ausgestattet. Super hell und sehr wohnlich. Wir hatten mehr als genug Platz und hatten eine sehr gute Zeit. Die Unterkunft ist ist wirklich überragend!

We have stayed here twice and loved it both times. The location is perfect and overlooks the sea. It is spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The communication from Nicky was excellent.

We had a fantastic week staying at the schoolhouse. It's in a beautiful and peaceful location but not too far from Port Ellen and the distilleries for all amenities. The house was well equipped with everything needed for self catering and a large and secure garden which was perfect for the dogs. There are also some beautiful beaches within walking distance where we saw otters and seals. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Had a lovely stay. House was perfect for us. Very spacious. Great wood burning stove with plenty of wood. Great location to walk to the Boathouse for dinner or to the lovely gardens at Achamore House.

We could not stay at the cottage for health and safety reasons, however the customer care provide by Paul was impeccable. He assisted us so well in order to relocate us to another accommodation. He was prompt, polite and very accommodating. We will definitely go back to the area and hopefully enjoy Paul’s cottage. Despite the event, I would hugely recommend Paul as he ensured our holiday was not spoilt but wonderful. Thank you.

We had a great stay. Gigha is a wonderful island to visit & Ceol Mara was an excellent place to stay. Really comfortable, very clean & great views from the house. We had some lovely walks from the house, and hired bikes to cycle from north to south on the island. I would recommend Ceol Mara to anyone wanting to stay on Gigha.

Lynne war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Das Haus ist wunderbar, sehr gepflegt, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Auch unser Sohn, 1jährig, kam nicht zu kurz und hatte viel Platz zum Spielen. Ein Hochstuhl und sogar Kinderbesteck, Teller und Becher machten den Aufenthalt mit Kind perfekt. Das kleine, etwas abgelegene Dorf bietet Raum für Erholung, ein super “Tante Emma-Lädeli”, eine wunderbare Aussicht und sogar einen Beach. Wir waren rundum happy und kommen gerne wieder.

What a beautiful house in an idyllic location. 6 adults and 3 dogs had the most fantastic stay in the School House and the house was fantastically equipped, spacious and provided us the perfect location in which to explore the island of Islay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone wishing to explore Islay and it's many whiskey distillery's. the host Lesley was very friendly and always responsive.

This is an amazing historical property in a beautiful location overlooking Lagavulin Bay and the coast of Northern Ireland. There are 3 distilleries within walking distance and Port Ellen is a quick drive. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor as well as a third bedroom and lounge area in a loft. There is a bathroom near he entes adjacent to the kitchen and there are laundry facilities out back. The host was responsive yet unobtrusive and easy to work with.

Fantastic home away from home. So much space and kitchen has everything needed to do loads of cooking. All the bedrooms were large and most had ensuite - fantastic showers. Large fireplace where the host provided endless wood for it. Beautiful surroundings and highly recommend for a family holiday

Just spent 3 nights at Toni and David’s wonderful cottage. Perfectly located, the cottage leaves you wanting for nothing. Beds were super comfy with a wide choice of pillows. The cottage was really cosy with easy to operate heating. The finish of the fixtures and fittings in the cottage are first class. We would happily live here permanently! As hosts, Toni and David were perfect. Easy check-in instructions and super responsive to any questions we had. Would we stay here again??? Absolutely! Would we recommend it? Absolutely! One of the very best cottages we’ve stayed in on Air BnB 🥰

The house is utterly charming, and the location is amazing. It is a very short walk down to a stunning beach. The house is very remote, as Simon points out, so you need to be aware of that. We found that it was a great location to relax and unwind.

A lovely place to stay, great location for exploring Islay as it's only a few minutes from Bowmore. Deceptively spacious, with everything we needed for our holiday. Bright, cheerful decor throughout made it a joy to stay in.

A lovely little hut for a couple and wee doggy. So beautifully decorated and very cosy, the wooden kitchen surfaces were definitely the better choice ;) In the garden you get a great view of the Paps of Jura and the hot tub is great for sitting outside in the cold but being warm! Comfy sofa and bed and since there’s not much to do on the Island it was nice to spend a full day in the hut. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

The hut was amazing, just as advertised! Had everything we needed and the hot tub is a great addition. The views are spectacular and Catherine was so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. This wasn’t our first visit and hopefully won’t be our last!

Bluebell Cabin was a perfect little hidaway to spend a few relaxing days in beautiful surroundings. Very close to Port Ellen, lovely options for walks and a stunning beach just a quick walk away. Place is absolutely spotless and we felt comfortable from the moment we stepped in. Thank you so much for such an amazing hospitality!

Fantastic place to get away from it all if you really want to get away from it all. Dark sky area, views over to Islay and Jura, terrific sunsets, (if you get the weather). We'll certainly be booking again.

Karen was a fantastic host, very responsive to message and very welcoming. The snowdrop cabin was clean and cosy with beautiful surroundings of the woods and we were also lucky to see some wildlife. The log fire hot tub was a nice touch to relax after a day of exploring the Island. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Islay.

Cabin was lovely quiet and peaceful. had all the amenities needed. views were beautiful spent loads of time watching the wildlife and the lambs jumping around in the fields from the cabin porch. loads of good dog walking spots and nice beaches. had everything we wanted for a relaxing weekend away for 2 people and a couple of dogs. hot tub was good takes a couple hours to get it up to temperature but held the temprature well could sit in it for ages. supermarket 20 mins away and a local shop 2 mins down the road far enough from everything to be a quiet getaway in the countryside but close enough to everything you'd need would definitely recommend.
