Firstly, the location next to the water is beautiful, very tranquil and peaceful, but still handy for walks in the Torridon area and for facilities in Shieldaig and Torridon. The house is very comfortable and has everything you might need. Excellent communication with the host. The only downside was having to leave.

Great place in a great location, just a 10-minute walk into Stornoway with the big Co-op just around the corner. The place was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. A real home from home! I highly recommend this little gem!

Most favourite house we’ve ever stayed. Such a lovely place with an incredible view. Our host was so kind and welcoming. She welcomed us with a freshly baked bread and snacks. She helped us with all the local restaurants and places to go. Best house to stay at the island without a doubt. Thank you for hosting us.

A beautiful house that was a brilliant base for us as we did lots of sight seeing and walking/hiking. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Extra blankets for those colder nights. Easy parking for our two cars. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning and the stars on the less cloudy nights were spectacular. Definitely a great place to stay in Skye.

We stayed at Margaret’s house from 23 December to 28 December. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was great and easy to get around the island. Views from the house were exceptional. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful renovated cottage in a peaceful location at the end of a very minor road. Although it was renovated more than 2 decades ago, there have been some updates, eg a new induction hob and oven, and it was clean and well looked after. There was electric heating set to a comfortable temperature for a grey damp November. Clare was very responsive to the one problem we had, a washing machine that wouldn't drain. We have her permission to go in while we were out walking and it was sorted by the time we got back. Trotternish is a beautiful area. We walked the Quirang, Rubha Hunish, the Old Man of Storr and the Fairy Glen. Rankins supermarket in Uig is amazing. Highly recommended!

We were on a road trip in our camper when the weather turned. We needed somewhere to stay ASAP. Our hosts were very quick to respond and get the property ready, even though it was out of season. We were so grateful and relieved to have such a cosy home to escape the rain and winds. We particularly loved chilling around the open fire, painting, reading and playing games. Thank you so much! Cozy home with stunning views of mountains, farms and sheep. Well-equipped kitchen. Donna was a helpful and responsive host. Spacious for a small family. Loved the peace and quiet and would love to stay here again.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Catherine und Jeff war perfekt! Das Airbnb ist sehr schön eingerichtet, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Wir wurden von Jeff begrüßt und er hat uns direkt Tipps für unsere Tage auf Skye gegeben. Die Kommunikation mit beiden war sehr einfach und freundlich. Bei gutem Wetter kann man den Sonnenaufgang durch das große Fenster sehen, das war wunderschön! Wir können das Airbnb zu 110% weiterempfehlen

Visited early February- absolutely stunning! Very warm and cosy with a breathtaking view. Exactly as described, a complete home from home. Very private with own enclosed garden and car park space. Lovely outside seating and brilliant access to Brothers Point! Well stocked kitchen for us to prepare all our meals and a very comfortable large bed! Cannot recommend this place enough- and cannot recommend visiting Skye in winter enough!

This is a MUST stay while visiting lewis & Harris. Most beautiful location with easy access. Had the most relaxing and peaceful stay here and can’t recommend enough. The decor is lovely and has everything you need. Could sit and look at the window all day. Going to miss hugely having my morning coffee watching the white tailed eagles outside.

Island hospitality and generosity at its best. The place was well stocked with everything we needed and extra. Lovely touches of shortbread, fruit, milk and breakfast cereals. Central to Tarbert perfect for exploring both North Harris and the south. A very comfortable spot for 2. Well 3 including the dog. Thanks for a lovely stay will book again.

Graham was an excellent host to the point where he left food items he thought would be useful (thank you!) The flat was very comfortable and has everything needed for a stay. The location of the flat is just outside the main town centre but is easy to get to. It's also excellent for arrival by ferry or plane.

It’s a lovely flat perfect as a hub while we were working in the area. Great communication when required, clean tidy with all you could need!

I often stay in Stornoway as my daughter has moved up there, and of all the Air B&B's I've stayed in, this is the one I would go back to without hesitation. It was spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The flat had lovely views over the water and castle. It did not disappoint in any way.

What a wonderful place. Very central to all of the main attractions in Skye and just a few minutes drive from Portree. The flat was perfect, it had everything one would need for a stay on Skye and more. Mary was a great host, always responsive and friendly and up for a nice chat about our daily experiences on Skye. We truly loved our time here and it made the Isle well worth the visit. Cannot wait to return in the summer!

Karen and Phil were helpful and a delight. Their place was cozy with an easy-to-use wood burning stove, large bathtub and shower along with all the washing and kitchen amenities you would expect. Beautiful back garden and two excellent eating establishments within walking distance.

Such a fantastic place to stay. So much bigger than I thought it was going to be, has everything that you could ever need and the views across the harbour during sunset are incredible. Cannot recommend this highly enough. It's like a home from home. Thank you again!

This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.
