What an amazing find in Newport News! This home is updated, welcoming, well kept, and spacious. We loved everything about it, but here are some standouts: So close to CNU! A short walk and you are on campus, so the need to find visitor parking at CNU is eliminated. The entire house was very clean and free of pests/bugs. Comfortable beds and soft sheets. Bathrooms had lots of towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and shower essentials. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and plenty of plates, bowls, cups and utensils for everyone. And finally, communication with Xiang was top notch. She was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to our questions. You can tell she cares and wants your stay to be the best, which it absolutely was for our family! I highly recommend this home and we will be back for sure! Thank you Xiang for a great home away from home!

This is a quaint home in a nice neighborhood. They kitchen had great appliances, and the home was nicely decorated as a family home. The back yard could have used some attention as it was full of leaves and not able to take our dog outside the fenced area due to the debris. The beds had older mattresses, but the bathrooms were nice. Overall, a great home and I would recommend this to someone needing a dog friendly home.

The place was very clean and spacious as it housed the groom’s immediate family and other guest. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the Smithfield area. The house itself could easily be a museum. Parker was very responsive and is truly deserving of the superhost title.

Our stay at Logs on Lawson was perfect! The house was well stocked and clean. It had everything we needed for a cozy girls weekend away. Ches was a great host and was quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be returning for our next girls trip!

My friends and I stayed here together for a weekend. We really loved it! It was cozy, clean, and well decorated throughout the house. We did not have any issues and really enjoyed our stay. One small thing was that we noticed a few ants in one of the rooms, but it did not seem like a recurring issue (warm weather that day). We let Gina know once we checked out.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Cristy's home! Everything was updated, super clean, so roomy and so comfortable. The kitchen is so huge and where we tend to hang out as a family so it was great. Bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. And the bathrooms were updated and had these lovely nightlights. I always bring my own but didn't need them because of this thoughtful touch. And the cats Fred, Betty and Barney were adorable and so easy to care for with just a little food, water and love. The location was great for our trips to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. It was close enough to get there quickly, but far enough away that we didn't feel like we were in a tourist trap but in a real neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of space for our family and a beautiful backyard Oasis. William was very responsive answered my questions immediately and gave me great suggestions for restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again.
