We had a fantastic stay in Otter’s Rest over February half term. It’s a really smart and well appointed chalet. There was plenty of room for our family (inc three kids aged 12, 10 and 4). The lodge itself was extremely clean and a really fun place to spend the week. It certainly seemed to us like the best site on the Shorefield Park. The beds were comfortable, and there were lots of toys, DVDs (though we just signed into Netflix etc - TVs in all the bedrooms and the lounge) and books. The location was great - just a short drive into the New Forest and a walk to the beach. The WiFi worked well and it’s got all the essentials for a great holiday.

Perfect get away, it’s exactly what we wanted! Helen and Nigel were so friendly and helpful. You felt completely by yourself and private. Will definitely be going back

A beautiful stay, the pool and hot tub really were the stars of the show. Spent our evenings around the fire pit with a drink and cards. Exceeded our expectations in terms of a self catering accommodation, kitchen had everything you could need including a coffee machine and air fryer and the use of toiletries were a lovely touch. Jo was a great host and even let us check out a bit later. Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay there. It was beautifully situated overlooking a field of horses. The lodge itself was immaculate and beautifully designed. I could happily live there full time. We would all highly recommend this place. Just a few little negatives but they didn’t spoil our stay. It would have been nice to have an info pack, eg the heating was quite noisy and we would have liked to turn it off at night but didn’t want to mess it up. Also, my friend would have liked a hairdryer and we couldn’t find WiFi to connect to. If we’d stayed longer we would have asked but we were fine for the one night. In summary we all thought it was excellent and would happily stay again. Thank you for your hospitality including offering us early access and quick responses to our messages.

Me and my partner had the best nights stay here for his birthday It was Very easy to access with clear instructions on how to get there. Parking was available which is always a winner. Inside was super super clean and tidy and exactly what was advertised online. The coffee machine was fab (big coffee drinker here🙌) Hot tub was spotless and easy to use in a lovely private garden. Also great hosts, who were in contact prior and after our stay to make sure we were happy with everything. Very impressed by our stay and will 100% be returning and recommending to family and friends. Thankyou very much!!

10/10 for our 10 Booked for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Was a great decision, wonderfully secluded, hosts instructions were perfect and included a great recommendation for local pub. Instructions for hot tub and other amenities were clear, and also included insightful suggestions for the local area. Main room window faces the sunrise perfectly in the morning, it’s a beautiful sight to see. Perfect for the peace and serenity me and my wife were after.

Teresa was a lovely host, very friendly and communicative Sadly I had to cancel last minute, my fault not hers. But I would definitely love to stay there another time.

We have just returned from the most amazing trip, Ian could not have been more helpful from start to finish. from booking the ferry, directions, helpful suggestions for days out, the list is endless. travelling solo with two young children was made so much less stressful and I am so very grateful. We explored so much of the island, but equally had a beautiful space to rest and relax as well. The caravan has everything you could possibly need and the terrace surrounding it is an added bonus as the kids could play out safely and I could read a few pages of my book in peace. Thank you for everything Ian, we can't wait to come back and stay again next year 😊

Gails holiday home had great views looking towards Culver down. Peaceful site with great facilities for the family including heated outside swimming pool. Caravan was clean and had everything we needed to make out stay easy! Thank you again for all your help. Kelly x

We had a long weekend at Jack’s caravan and it was perfect for us. We spent four days exploring different places with our young daughter and Jack’s caravan was the ideal base to start from each day. It is extremely well equipped, Jack described it perfectly. He also compiled a very helpful folder with recommendations for things to see and do which was at the accommodation for us. The accommodation was clean, very well laid out and the bonus of having the hot tub was excellent. His communication was very informative and made checking in/out very easy. We will be visiting Jack’s caravan again and highly recommend others do too. Thank you Jack.

Nina is the most welcoming, friendly & helpful host we have ever encountered. She has created the most tranquil & beautiful home-from-home haven in The Hideaway. It is immaculate, luxurious, cosy & has everything you need & more to feel comfortable & at home. The detail, time, effort & love that has been put into creating The Hideaway seeps out of its very core. It is the perfect location for a get away - private & tranquil, yet within easy walking distance of the beach at Colwell Bay & its bars, cafes & restaurants. A beautiful property, managed by the most wonderful hosts. We were made to feel so very welcome & that we could relax & make ourselves, including our dog, fully at home. We were greeted with a welcome pack of goodies, to include treats for our dog. There’s nothing Nina hasn’t thought of to equip The Hideaway with every basic need & more - including dog towels & necessities, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities & even a hair dryer & straighteners. We’ll be back!

Just had a wonderful few days at one of The Cabins at Toms Eco Lodge. Brilliant cabins, very clean with everything you need. Lovely setting with great views. Great spot to explore the West side of the island. Will definitely be back.

Where we stayed was clean. Nice and quiet and out of the way from the hub of things. Property was overlooking the fields. Site was very clean, and it was very peaceful.

The site was well located , had a great shop, that had a good range of products including fresh fruit and vegetables. The caravan had great views of the countryside.

Easy to find and super peaceful area. Clean place and friendly neighbours. Would recommend to others!

Our third time back to Isle of Wight, our stay and lodge is a real gem. Straight off the main road, and tucked away in the forest met with cosy spacious modern cabin. Ideal location 15mins away from the Beach, restaurants and amenities. Our stay was greeted squirrels and forest wildlife yet so private with log burner to help with the chilly evening's. We will be back and can highly recommend 👌

We had a magical stay at Sue and Paul’s lodge. They were so kind and accommodating to us and our children. They recommended great restaurants and made us feel really welcome. We would love to come back! Thank you again!

The chalet is wonderful and waking up to the sea view is fantastic! The towncentre is very close and has all the amrnities and services needed. Kitchen had all necessary items for self catering, oven, kettle etc. Hailey was very nice all the way from booking to check-out, leaving us some extra time for one last promenade by the sea and beach before leaving the island. Would return asap!

Great place to stay and made for a memorable family Christmas! It was a lovely home away from home. Beach was in walking distance, as were some friendly local pubs and restaurants. Haylie answered all of our questions and was available if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay on the IOW.

Well what can I say apart from WOW, what a stunning location, although my wife and I where there over the new years period and the weather was not that great the views are truly stunning, the apartment was spotless and clean and we found Haylie very nice and very helpful, I can only imagine what it must be like in the summer I can only imagine stunning, once again a big thankyou to Haylie.😊😊
