The hosts were great from start to finish. They helped us book the ferry with the discount, and when the ferry was delayed they also helped us get a refund. The place itself was really nice and had pretty much everything we needed. I notice that others complained about noise as it was on the High Street, for us it wasn't too bad. There was some noise, but nothing to keep you up night, although our stay wasn't during any special events.

Our host Beth was great, very proactive and extremely helpful. We stayed in the 'The coach house', which is a beautiful, serene retreat with breathtaking views. We highly recommend staying here If you are looking for a stunning, private and convenient base for your adventures on the Isle of Wight.

We stayed here for 5 nights in May. We were 4 adults and the place was big enough for 8. Beds were comfy and the place was spotlessly clean. Quiet location and only 1 min walk to the shops. Car park on the next street. Good location for exploring the island. Would stay here again

Can honestly say this has to be the best location I’ve stayed in it was amazing so peaceful and you could feel the stress drop from your body stunning views. Can’t wait to book up again highly recommend 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can't recommend here enough. The perfect place to stay on the Isle of Wight. Right in the heart of Shanklin, beside gorgeous thatched pubs and tea rooms and a short walk from a gorgeous beach. Also, conveniently located right beside a car park. The apartment itself is also gorgeous, nothing but good to say - really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely few days at Eileen’s place. The apartment is large and well decorated, perfect for a family or group of friends. The bedrooms are all of a comfortable size and have great views of the sea. The living room is spacious and good for gathering. Eileen left some food and drink for us in the kitchen when we arrived which was great after a long trip. It was easy to get into the flat when we arrived, there are a couple flights of stairs. Car parking is directly outside the flat. Eileen was really communicative and helpful with any questions we had before and during our visit. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Ventnor.

The place was amazingly, 5 stars to everything to the host.

We stayed for 6 days in mid-August and it was such a great location and experience for us. Coming up to the day of arrival, Laura was in contact in relation to recommendations for places to see and things to do on site, advice on getting over to the island, where the local shops were etc. The apartment was really quiet and the place was well cared for. When we checked in there was everything there we needed. The fridge was empty and clean, as was the freezer. Everything you would expect for the kitchen was there. You do need to supply your own washing powder, but that was ok. Check out was just as easy and while it was early (10am) there are plenty of ferries running at that time to get you back to the mainland.

Absolutely loved the stay here. Will definitely stay here again when i next visit the Isle of Wight.

Even better than the photos! Fabulous new house with top spec and so many great amenities. Young people loved the hot tub. Private and yet only 2 mins from the esplanade and 10 min walk from the East Cowes. We loved our stay, Jo was really friendly and helpful in all the communications.

We loved staying at this house. We last stayed in September 2021. This time we took three young children (ages 3-5) and it was the perfect location for them. So near the beach and the house has plenty of space. It’s well equipped with games. The beds are comfortable with nice linen and fluffy towels. We have been coming to this area for many years and it holds very fond memories for us. The scenery around the coastline is stunning. We hope to be back again. . If we can fit in.

Travelled to Island for my wife’s aunts 80th birthday and 60th wedding anniversary celebrations. House was just as described, clean, spacious, comfortable and ideally located for seafront and high street. Extremely well equipped kitchen plus welcoming items including sourdough , butter, preservatives , milk, orange juice and shortbread. Spacious lounge with planting of seating. My wife and daughter loved the soaps, shower gels and fresh smells in the bathrooms. I thoroughly recommend this property and would re book if returning to the Island Tips: Grab the double room on 3rd floor if you prefer medium to soft mattress and watching tv in bed! We felt the middle bedroom mattresses were a bit on the hard side for us personally but this would not stop me from rating this property 10/10.

Really lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable home. We loved the extras, like games and beach things, so no need to buy for holiday. Some things, like coffee maker and older video games not working, but no worries, there was a french press and plenty to do. Bit far for us to walk to the seafront with the kids. Unfortunately, they closed the road for maintenance work for most of our stay, but the crew was nice and we managed to get in/out, even if our sat nav didn't like the detours.

We had a lovely stay at Highlands, we felt right at home and relaxed with beautiful sea views to look at. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. The living spaces and kitchen were well equipped and spacious too. We did drive past the house when finding it, mostly because of road closures in the area and being unsure which ones you were allowed to drive down, you have to go down one labelled as 'closed ahead' in order to get to it. We could easily explore the Island from here with our car, and had a lot of fun doing so. Ventnor espalande is walkable but very steep coming back and if you have any ailments it might be tricky. We were so lucky with the weather and made use of the garden area, even saw a sand lizard! Overall a lovely stay and we would definitely come back. Thank you!

Lee's place was really nice. Exactly as described, the space is used really well and you're not on top of each other even with nearly a dozen people. The bed was very comfortable, the bathrooms a little simple but nothing wrong with them at all. The garden is nice and big and the games room is good albeit the pool table is on a slight slant (not that noticeable though). Didn't get to use the BBQ sadly as it was chilly outside but would be lovely in warmer weather, and the fireplace was really nice. Lee is very responsive with messages and was helpful to deal with. We would happily return here.

We had a wonderful break in the Isle of Wight, Zoe's house is lovely, very well equipped and the location couldn't be better, easy walking distance into Yarmouth which is a beautiful little town, we would definitely come back!

Way beyond expectations - we felt like we could've had a holiday based here rather than just stopping a couple of nights. Patsy was communicative and helpful, the place is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, and the location couldn't be better. The best stay we've had on the island, no doubt.

We had a wonderful stay at this cosy apartment. The sea and garden views were incredibly calming, and having our own allocated parking spot made everything easy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials you would need. We loved relaxing in the evenings with on the balcony watching the sunset. This place is perfect for a quiet getaway with all the comforts of home. Also the host was very responsive and very helpful with booking the ferry with a discount!

We had a fabulous long weekend here. The apartment was in a perfect location at the bottom of the high street as well as next the Quay. I had reservations about the parking before our trip but found it v easy to park close to the property and the complimentary parking permit was a nice bonus. The apt was in the Centre of everything but also quiet at night. Thoughtfully furnished throughout and a lovely welcome pack with nice treats on our arrival. We would definitely recommend and will be back 😊

Our stay with Greenstay was absolutely superb. On self check-in, we found the apartment was impeccably clean and just as described. It had such a great energy about it that we felt right at home. The area being away from the main town and close to the beach brought about a feeling of complete relaxation. The interiors were well thought of and the entire place decorated beautifully. The living room was well laid out even for a party of 6, with Netflix provided for entertainment. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the essentials that would be needed for a self-catering stay. Tea, coffee/coffee pods and a pint of milk (nice touch!) were provided along with cleaning up essentials for that quick start. The host, Steve, was very approachable and provided clear instructions for self check-in and answered any questions promptly. He was kind and showed a great deal of hospitability. This was much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We had such a lovely long weekend. The flat was spacious and impeccably clean. The beach was 30 seconds walk away, and there were other beaches and rock pools within a 5 min walk. Our two daughters, 6 and 9, loved the beach, going crabbing, having a barbecue on the beach, and getting ice cream from the ice cream shop. We’ll be back!

The apartment was quite and the check in was made easy with a video. The place was lovely with a terrace with table and chairs to sit in. It was about a 15 minute walk into town . But is a nice walk by the sea . I would recommended it. The owners wife was very helpful with taking my suitcase down the outside stairs

Deborah was the perfect host, and responded within minutes to queries and there was a lovely welcome pack at the apartment when we arrived. It was such a lovely relaxing space and the apartment looked very clean and new. The outdoor space was great for the kids, really safe and contained! And the view was amazing. We loved being able to use the back gate to get onto the cliff path and we were down at the beach in 5 minutes. Lots of lovely cafes between sandown and shanklin and plenty to do along the pier and gardens. We will definitely be back, it was such a quiet convenient location to be able to see the island or just get to the beach easily

The apartment was absolutely wonderful and located in a beautifully quiet area with wonderful views. Sherryn was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Communication was clear and Sherryn was very quick to respond to any messages. The kitchen was spotless and had everything that we needed. I can't recommend the apartment enough. We loved being so close to the beach and enjoyed exploring the rock pools. The perfect location for a weekend break!
