A charming, unique, quirky space in a classic style, this is a fun place to spend a week in Istanbul. We are a family of four and it was easy to spread out and have our own space. The beds are fine, though the couch bed is sagging in the middle. The kitchen allowed us to make meals but wasn’t extensively stocked. There are plenty of places near to get food, including a lovely bakery and green grocer. The apartment is on the slightly dingier side of one very busy street which is thriving on the opposite side. Taksim Square and other local metros are very close. Galatea Tower and its surrounds are a short walk. There are many lovely touches about the apartment and location that make it a delight to stay in! Cenker is a wonderful caretaker of this historical space. (The space just happened to have multiple issues while we were there—electricity our because of road work, leaky sink, etc—and he was quick to respond and solve everything!) Great place!!

EL APARTAMENTO DE BEHIC ESTÁ SITUADO MUY CERCA DE LA TORRE GALATA Y DE LA ZONA BOHEMIA. COMO ALOJAMIENTO ES MAGNÍFICO, GRANDE (REALMENTE TIENE LOS METROS QUE SE INDICAN), ESTA MUY LIMPIO, BIEN CUIDADO, LA COCINA FABULOSA, LOS DOS BAÑOS MUY BIEN. LA COMUNICACION CON BEHIC ES MUY RÁPIDA, Y NOS AYUDA EN TODO LO SOLICITADO. COMO UNICO INCONVENIENTE ES QUE SE ENCUENTRA EN UNAS CALLES CON MUCHA PENDIENTE, PERO ESO EN ESTAMBUL ES BASTANTE NORMAL EN VARIAS ZONAS. LA CALEFACCIÓN Y EL AIRE ACONDICIONADO FUNCIONAN, AUNQUE NO ES FACIL CONSEGUIR LA TEMPERATURA ÓPTIMA POR EL SUELO RADIANTE (DEMASIADO CALOR), LO CONSEGUIMOS REFRESCANDO CON LA POSICIÓN DE LAS VENTANAS EN BATIENTE DURANTE UN RATO. COMO VALORACIÓN GENERAL ES DE 10 Y TOTALMENTE RECOMENDABLE.

This is a charming, spacious, and beautifully decorated home. It comes fully equipped with everything you might need, and the thoughtful welcome items upon arrival are a lovely touch. The location is fantastic—everything you need is just a short walk away, including various transportation options. The apartment is impeccably clean, and the host is communicative, friendly, and genuinely kind. The area feels safe and inviting. The only minor drawback was that the windows didn’t have blinds, which could make it a bit chilly when it’s windy outside. Perhaps sealing the window frames could help resolve this. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!

The apartment was great. Amazing location and the flat was spacious. Cüneyt was really helpful and responsive. The apartment is semi-basement but you have access to the shared deck. Really great stay. No oven or microwave, but the stove was enough for my needs. Thank you!

Ich kann die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen! Einziger Kritikpunkt könnte die WLAN-Verbindung sein. Diese war mal besser mal schelchter, aber es hat für das nötigste gereicht. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen. :)

Evden çok memnun kaldık. Çok temiz ve konforluydu çok rahat ettik. Evin konumunu çok sevdik. Barış bey çok ilgiliydi ona da her şey için teşekkür ederiz. Sürekli gönül rahatlığıyla tercih edebileceğim bir ev oldu.

The apartment was very close to the center which is great! At first we didn't realize that we would be split into two apartments, but in retrospect it was great. In the lower apartment we had one bedroom, a kitchen and a living room, which served as our common area. Great layout)) The apartments were clean, tidy and comfortably furnished. When we arrived the beds were already made, which was of course great after the long flight! Also their offers for transfer, and info about restaurants etc, transportation cards and to have some wine options in the flat were so thoughtful, thank you! All in all a very nice apartment with a great location. It is both quiet in the apartment and close to endless activities in the center! For our next time, we would choose this place again!

Müge Hanım’ın evinde daha önce de konaklama fırsatı bulmuştuk. İstanbul’un kalabalığından ve kaosundan sizi kolayca çekip çıkartan harika bir bahçe ve harika bir ev. Olası tatil kaçamaklarında ilk tercihimiz oldu. Öyle de devam edecek gibi duruyor. Ayrıca Müge Hanım harika bir ev sahibi ve çok yardımsever. Bu da sizin konaklamanızı oldukça kolaylaştırıyor.

The house was wonderful and warm, there is everything you need, the area is great and it will always be my first choice with the family, the host was very wonderful and helpful thank him for that 🙏

Emre is an amazing host and super helpful and friendly. He was always readily available whenever we need help with anything, also very kind and understanding host. The house is super cozy, love the bedroom! Home is nearby conveniences and eateries so if there is anything you need can always drop by quick to the minimal just a few steps away. Overall, great place and host. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Can’s apartment surpassed our expectations. The apartment is in peaceful and quiet area that is still close to the busy parts of Arnavutköy. The view is absolutely beautiful from the front yard, and the apartment was clean, spacious, organized, and had everything we needed. Can was helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be staying here again!

We particularly loved this place because it was possible to book the entire house (two floors) for ourselves and it’s easy to walk in and out in a very central area. It’s wooden and traditionally decorated, giving a very warm, nice feeling. It was lovely to have breakfast and dinner in the kitchen, we had everything we needed. The small details like lovely espresso cups stood out. We used all the amenities like wash machine without any issues. This place has a very good value for the price. We were very pleased to stay here, and we would stay here again. The location is very central, but surprisingly quiet. We always had a good night’s sleep and never had issues with noises, which is quite rare in these areas. Nil and Ümmühan hanım were both very communicative and helpful. Ümmühan hanım greeted us and helped us find a parking location. They always called or messaged and checked in on us, if we needed anything. Super nice people. Tekrar çok teşekkürler 🙏

Es war alles super! Fethi ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft war geräumig und in einer ruhigen Lage. Der Abschnitt mit vielen Essmöglichkeiten der großen Einkaufsstraße „Bağdat caddesi“, war in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Abschnitt der Straße, welche Shopping Möglichkeiten bietet ist weiter entfernt. Wir haben uns grundsätzlich sehr sicher und in guten Händen gefühlt, konnten ohne Probleme kochen und waren mit der Ausstattung der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Es ist alles funktionsfähig und sauber. Vielen Dank!! Gerne wieder!

If you get the chance to stay here, grab it. It’s a stunning apartment - clearly a lot of love, thought and care have gone into designing this place and we felt right at home from the start. The apartment is super peaceful while being very close to transport links and the vibrant restaurant areas of Beyoğlu. Sultanahmet is walkable from the apartment across the bridge. Aaron and his team were brilliant hosts, responsive and pro active. He gave us some great recommendations including the local 16th century Hamam designed by Mimar Sinan (definitely recommend this) and several restaurants. We particularly liked Çiya Sofrası across the Bosporous in Kadıköy (a picturesque ferry trip from the nearby Karaköy pier) and the local Galata Kitchen. Just loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

Очень хорошая квартира, в отличном состоянии, с хорошим расположением, есть всё, необходимое для жизни. Хороший дом с тихим двором и охранником внизу, было спокойно. Очень приятный хозяин, быстро отвечала и выдала четкие инструкции при заселении и выезде.

Furkan tuvo mucha paciencia, llegamos de noche y nos tardamos más tiempo del que le dijimos y nos esperó. Nos ayudo a cambiar los euros por liras turcas y nos recomendó lugares turísticos para visitar. Mi motivo del viaje fue una cirugía y él se preocupó por mi salud, incluso nos envió postres de regalo. Nos hacía falta una sartén más grande para cocinar y de inmediato envio una nueva al airbnb. Lo elegiríamos otra ves sin duda, el mejor anfitrión.
