The perfect stay for our 2 nights in Hokitika. Just down the street from the main area. House was clean and well appointed. The ping pong table was a hit with our kids and great for when it rained. I highly recommend this house and would definitely stay again!!

We loved out stay at Drifting Sands! Super comfortable and eclectic home, the best beds/linens during our 3-week stay in NZ! Super quiet as well. The short stroll to town and private walkway to the lovely beach and hot tub make this space extra special. We highly recommend if you enjoy a beachy, eclectic vibe!

A great stay right on the sea. We couldn't have asked for more and a soak in the tub on the patio was icing on the cake!

We had a great stay at Sailors catch and Claire the host was great with communication and sent us a great place for lunch. The views of the beach and sunset were awesome and we will be back to stay in the future 👍

We had a lovely long weekend at Kerry's place, two families in total stayed (4 x adults, 6 x children). There was plenty of room, lots of little extras (including home baking). A short walk to the beach and a quick drive into Hokitika and the Glow Worm Dell. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A lovely home, everything our team needed for their stay on the coast, great communications from the host with clear directions and easy access. Look forward to staying on our next trip to Hokitika 10/10

Charmante petite chambre chez Karen et Nigel. Un coucher de soleil magnifique à 5 minutes à pied ! Nous avons été acceuilli chaleureusement. Le lieu est calme et reposant ! Le jaccusi était à bonne température pour se détendre quelques minutes !

Perfect for our group of Cowboy’s in town for an event. Plenty of sleeping options, bathrooms & seating space. Options to split out into groups as needed. Kerry kept in touch to check in on consumables & that we were all ok. I’m sure we will be back!

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

Had a lovely week in Hokitika at Heather's cottage. Could not get much closer to the beach! I still miss hearing the surf pounding the beach at night. Spent many hours fossicking for rocks and driftwood that we unfortunately could not bring home! The cottage was small (as expected) but perfectly fine for the two of us. An easy 10-15 min walk down the beach to town for coffee/restaurants/shopping. Very friendly locals. All the amenities at the cottage were as described although I had not noticed the lack of washing machine, but that was my bad. Wifi/TV worked well, no problems with connectivity. Loved walking two minutes up the road to the glow worm dell - a magical experience. Be sure not to miss Hokitika gorge - a small many turns drive but well worth it! Bring a picnic and enjoy. Also can recommend Thatcher and Small for coffee/cake and meals as well as the cinema cafe for coffee. Thanks Heather!

We stayed for 2 nights and we had a lovely time! Accommodation was gorgeous, super clean, loved the decor and the softest bed sheets and comfiest bed ever! Perfectly located for sunsets and beach walks (literally 30 seconds walk) and super close to shops / food places etc. Fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer (came in handy!) and shower pressure was brilliant ✨️ all topped off by lovely bunny rabbits 🐇 popping into the garden 😀. Sally was a great host and we would recommend this place to anyone staying in Hokitika ✨️🙌👌
