Very friendly, and amazing value for the beautiful view and great location.

What a great find; close to Agnes Waters but a nice rural setting. Quiet and peaceful. Beautifully decorated and v comfortable with lots of extras thrown in - toiletries, food basics, books, games, jigsaws, access to wifi connection, Netflix... Two v welcoming and pleasant hosts in Vicky & Daren, plus the most amazingly welcoming dogs - can’t fault it. A very relaxing stay!

We had the absolute best time at Marg’s beautiful home. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, has a fully equiped kitchen and a brilliant laundry which is fantastic for a family with children. Our hosts were so accomodating and thought of everything to make sure our stay was comfortable for us and our two young girls. They put up baby gates and protective corners on sharp future to ensure our babies were safe. The pool was phenomenal, as were the views and sunsets from the large back deck. The deck has a constant beautiful breeze which really made it feel so much cooler there than in town, which was so comfortable and welcomed ! The home is so close to tannum pub and was a great little walk down to the esplanade and the beach. The location could not have been better! This place felt like a home away from home and I would feel very lucky to be able to stay here again when we next visit. We would highly recommend this home and its very friendly hosts to all.

Joanna’s place and hospitality were absolutely top-notch. The room smelled great, was spotless, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Some reviews mentioned there was no microwave, but when we visited, there was actually one stored in the cabinet under the sink. There was also a small TV with Netflix, which was a lovely touch. We were a bit sad we didn’t get to meet the adorable dog, Duke, but if we ever visit the area again, we would definitely stay here again.

Ka mau te whei! Words don't really describe the 'feeling' of this place, what a gem. After we had travelled a marathon 12 hours from Townsville arriving here, to what can only be described as a magical setting, complete with fairly lights was perfect. All the amenities are well appointed and easy to use even for those who have no experience in the off grid lifestyle. The linen on the bed, fluffy cotton towels, beverage options and body/face products in the bathroom are all of excellent quality and better than we have yet to experience in a the variety of BNB and hotel/motel options we have stayed in so far. Even marshmallows and toasting forks are provided! We woke in the morning to a fabulous sunrise and started the day with a swim in the natural swimming pool which was just glorious and an experience all of its own. We highly recommend Casa Azul and commend Nadia and Nick on managing to create such a special place - 5 Stars absolutely.

Carl was a fantastic host. We received a lovely welcome, he took time to explain the whereabouts of beaches, shops and activities. Surroundings were very peaceful. We even saw a kangaroo and it’s Joey. Thank you Carl.

We had a lovely time here. Maree was very responsive to my messages. The place was neat and tidy and had everything we needed.
