Bill was very kind and quick to respond! The house was in a private, peaceful location right by the lake. It was so beautiful to see both from inside the house and outside. The house felt cozy, and everything was as described. It was definitely cold when we went, but there were plenty of heaters going that kept us nice and toasty! We loved our stay here.

Older house but very comfortable. Two bedrooms upstairs are railroad so you will have to walk through one to get to the other. One bathroom but it's nice and well stocked. Nice views into the farms and valleys. Only issue we had was one of my friends was afraid of the old house noises from the wind. Great for families or a few friends looking for a low key place to stay

This cottage was the perfect respite for my family. The big panoramic window that looked out over the water was perfect. The house was so comfortable and the hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend a stay here. There isn’t a lot to do in the immediate area, but the university of Delaware was 20 minutes away and Baltimore an hour south. It was a perfect house for a long weekend getaway.

I so enjoyed the quiet beauty of this hidden gem in the woods. From the moment I booked, Jen was a fabulous hostess, giving thought and care to ensure a positive experience. The home is beautiful, and I was happily surprised by the gorgeous holiday decor and cheer. Everything was just as described, and I couldn't have felt more at home. Having grown up nearby, I have no doubt this would be an oasis in the summer months, though even with ice on the lake, it offered peace and beauty. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the warmth of my host permeated the entire home. I recommend it to anyone seeking nature, beauty, and comfort.

The place was absolutely beautiful! Nadia was very responsive and an absolute joy! I loved her home so much. I’m very pleased with how I was able to celebrate my 30th birthday. Definitely will stay again. Thank you so much Nadia!

We were having our bathroom remodeled and needed a place that could accommodate 2 adults, 3 kids ( under 5) 3 pets, and be within driving distance to our kids school. Thankfully, Adel's house was the perfect fit! I loved the kitchen. The river behind the house was a beautiful bonus. The house was very clean. Also, we liked the bidet and ended up getting one installed in our bathroom at home. If we need to stay somewhere nearby again, I'd definitely look to see if Adel's home is available.
