Beautiful place to stay!! The view of the lake was wonderful. It rained while we were there, so we enjoyed sitting on the big back porch, watching it rain!

This was our second stay here. Our family absolutely loves this place. It is the perfect place to get away from everything to relax and unwind. Thank you so much.

My family had the best vacation staying at this house on the lake. Easy to find stuff in the kitchen because drawers are labeled. Very comfortable beds, huge finished basement with games which was perfect for the teenagers. Loved sitting on the deck every morning and fishing at night on the dock. We loved using the paddle boards and kayaks. I plan on staying again next summer!

We stayed at the cabin for 3 days at the end of December, and loved the place and the area. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we found the kitchen to be particularly well-stocked - appreciated having not only two kinds of coffeemakers (drip and Keurig) but plenty of both types of coffee. The instructions for getting in were clear, and we appreciated the small touches like snacks that were made available for guests, along with jigsaw puzzles and games. The cabin is in a very quiet neighborhood, and we loved being right on the White River with a comfortable porch overlooking the water. The town of Mountain View is close enough to be convenient for groceries if needed, and has several really good restaurants and cute stores. Since it was off-season some places were closed for the winter, but we still found plenty to do, and even just driving around in the hills and taking in the scenery was enjoyable. I'd recommend the cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Mark and Tina are excellent hosts and their cabin is just as described: private, quiet, and rustic, tucked away in the woods. Was very easy to find, directions were excellent! There's a market about 10 min. drive away for food or forgotten items! Also appreciated: the grab rope for sitting on the outhouse seat and the outside lighting for nighttime toilet trips!

Beautiful location with a nice view of the lake. It appears the entire interior of the house has been freshly repainted; very clean. We had a small Thanksgiving gathering there, the living room/dining area is spacious. Three bathrooms - absolutely terrific. We found everything we needed as far as cookware, etc. A couple people braved the cold wind and went kayaking on the lake. Very enjoyable stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at horseshoe bend!! the home was beautiful and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond and gave us some great ideas for the surrounding area! There is a bait shop 6 mins away, we had so much fun fishing with the kiddos!! We can't wait to get back!!
