Great place to be near Cataloochee Area Ski and the Great Smoky Mountais

Enjoyed a few days here exploring the area and visiting nearby towns. Great place to stay!

Chasity was very nice and accommodating. They made sure to turn the heat and lights on for us. It was a perfect location to skiing.

We had a great time during our spring break March 2025, the town of Silva was very close by and the hiking trailhead to Alum Cave was an hour away. We didn't explore the restaurants because we cooked our own food and then had coffee on the porch by the river.

Great location, close to a lot what the area has to offer.

Guests will experience a quiet and very well kept grounds. You may even see an elk wandering around, we did and got some great pictures. I will definitely book again. Next time I would love to try a yurt.

This tiny mountain home was perfect for our Thanksgiving this year. We enjoyed living the mountain life for a few days while we woke up to gorgeous views, roasted marshmallows by the fire and spent the day playing in the woods until it was time to watch the sunset over the mountains. A 4x4 vehicle is required to access the property due to the steep driveway. The kitchen is stocked with basic essentials and with a few groceries from Ingles, I was able to cook meals for my family all week. The beds were comfortable. The area was quiet. The neighbors were friendly. We will be back! Thank you Susan and Katie!

Very cute cabin about 5 minutes from the Cherokee Casino. Private, secluded area next to two other cabins. Super clean and cozy.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was spacious and the perfect size for my needs. The location is perfect. Walkable to everything in Cashiers.

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in Blake’s tiny home! The space is super cute and secluded. Blake was super accommodating and responsive! We loved being able to relax in the mountains and reading the guest book for things to do in the area! We will be sure to try and make our way back to this tiny home!

This is a magical place. It’s gorgeous and so comfortable. Lindsay is so accommodating and thinks of all the small details that make for a lovely, relaxing stay. I highly recommend this place!!

This Cozy Cottage has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The bathroom is big, shower even bigger. Water pressure was impressive. Tiny kitchen has everything you need, even champagne flutes! Lol… Bed was very comfortable. TV was a nice size and has everything you need. Watched the Saturday football games on multiple stations. Location is great. Walkable to town, drive is 5 min. Great restaurants! Paoletti’s is one of my favorites and it’s right down the street. Been coming to Highlands for 40yrs. This is a great stay for 1 to 2 people. Definitely will be back!

This lovely cottage was so amazing. We loved being there for the weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return in the future. The kitchen had everything you need for a getaway. The linens were all comfy and great. It was so nice to be welcomed by their sweet dogs and we enjoyed visiting the chickens. It rained while we were there and loved hearing the rain on the metal roof. Claira, Andy and their children were so kind.

Silvia's tiny home was amazing. It was so "homey" from the moment we walked in. She put so many amenities in this small space. And it didn't feel crowded at all. She thought of EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL! The home was spotless! And the bedding was so comfy. I'll definitely stay there again when we visit WCU.

We were only able to stay one night -husband and I were in town for an event at WCU. We look forward to returning when we can really relax and enjoy the beautiful area. We loved the lights at night and the covered porch area, as well as the firepit area (although due to burn bans, we weren't able to light a fire). The cabin was very nice, perfect size for two of us and our pup. We didn't utilize the kitchen cabin, which was awesome, and had lots of supplies. Very quiet and peaceful; close to Sylva and Dillsboro. Ryan is a great host - he is quick to respond and makes sure you have everything you need. Clean, comfortable and charming.

We had a wonderful experience. The view was stunning and the host was gracious and accommodating. We had originally planned for 2 nights, but enjoyed it so well we extended for an extra night. The house was private, very clean, and looked just as it did in the pictures. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Greg’s property for 2 and a half weeks. It was wonderful. The cabin is cozy and a great location to get out and see the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. Greg a super friendly and interesting guy, with a ton of great stories and experiences to share. He gave awesome suggestions on things to do and was very helpful and responsive with any needs I had. I plan to come back soon and stay with Greg again as there is so much to explore around and Greg was the perfect host.

It’s a beautiful little cabin in a charming small town! It was an excellent choice for a quick weekend getaway!

Had a wonderful weekend getaway at Kathleen's place with our 2 dogs! The weather was beautiful so we took the canoe out for a bit and enjoyed the fire pit and the grill. Kathleen and her dog were wonderful and got a long great with our dogs. We had everything we needed and more. Would go back again!

The sweet mountain cabin was very clean and it is situated peacefully away from town. Super quiet! Perfect for a restful getaway and still close enough to Franklin to enjoy town life too! I highly recommend it and hope to return!

Darlene's place was fantastic. It's a cozy, private spot. Definitely worth the money, it was not expensive, especially for the area. Check-in was simple and Darlene was easy to get in touch with. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

Perfectly described. Amazing spot. Walking distance to casino, can’t beat it!

Darling as can be. Laying in bed with the windows open. Hot chocolate with a book out on the porch. A small snack at the picnic table. The only thing I was missing was the outdoor shower. I wanted it so bad. Huge fan of outdoor showers . Side note to the guests***** The acorns will hit the top of the house and it will probably scare you… it def did me and it’s also very comical when you’re awake. Loved this spot so much. I would stay again and again.
