Jackson County : locations de vacances

This is a cozy but roomy and home-decorated cabin in the heart of the South Dakota grassland prarie. During the day the tall dry straw grass bends and waves in the wind and at night the Milky Way galaxy stretches overhead across the black sky all the way to the horizon. It is quiet and isolated yet within easy driving distance to the Badlands National Park. Lydy is a fantastic host -- waited for us to arrive late in the evening and personally showed us the property.

Dawns place is like coming to grandmas house. Embroidered pillow cases and grandmas old serving bowls etc. Cute little farmhouse. Nothing fancy but more than adequate. We had 5 adults stay amd were able to cook and enjoy meals together. Kitchen well stocked.

A really nice secluded cabin. We loved the we could bring our dogs! The cabin was very clean. It was secluded, private and beautiful! We would highly recommend it. More than that we plan on going back and very much look forward to it!

Great place to stay when visiting the Badlands. The set up was as described and our kids enjoyed helping with the baby goats. Heidi does a great job with directions, just make sure to put on in the name of the campground not the address. She does explain this, but when traveling and having many stops it's easy to skim directions and use the address. The cabin was perfect for our stay!

Great location! Loved the kayaks and the grill was handy. The bin was cozy. Only thing I’d make a note of is that there are RV sites available at the same location, so it was a bummer that we didn’t know and that we didn’t have the space to ourselves. Otherwise, great stay!

Beautiful location and surroundings. The home was just as described and the beds were all very comfortable. It was so nice to have a/c in every room.

Dawn has done a great job turning this cozy little spot into something special. It was just what we were looking for to hole up and relax for a couple days.

Perfect for an overnight stay on a road trip across the country. Close to the Badlands, easy to get to, easy to get into the house, responsive host. Old house matched the listing description. Would stay here again!
