Hi all, the house is a little bit old, but absolutely CHARMING and we missed nothing! :) There is a great terrasse with a wonderful view, even when it is raining you can sit outside in a very cosy corner. Even if we stayed in July and there are around 50 mobile homes around you, it was veeery silent and the children could use the great common pool often on their own. ;-) We also liked the play barn (with table tennis, billards, dart board, etc. (but the dart board should be replaced, because it is really old and not in a good state - suggestion: replace the board, buy new darts and put a carpet on the ground to protect the darts... ;-))! We really can recommend to stay in the house of Hege! :) Cheers, Michael and family

We booked this house with for our wind farm technicians. Quick and good communication with the host. Check-in went smoothly and without problems. For those who prefer old houses fully recommended.

Fantastisk sted og meget hjemmekoselig hjem! Meget hyggelig mottakelse med hilsen fra husvert. Koselig innbydende hjem, med rikelig uteplass, svømmebasseng og Jacuzzi. Kun 2 minutters gange fra Norges vakreste strand. Kort kjøretur til Skudneshavn som virkelig er et idyllisk tettsted, med flere våger og gammel tradisjonell bebyggelse. Rett og slett helt magisk. Her finner du roen med en gang, og en oppvartning som virkelig får deg til å føle deg velkommen! Vi kommer med sikkerhet tilbake! Anbefales på det varmeste! 😊

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten so den Pool bestens nutzen.

Vi var en familie på 7 voksne og 3 barn (3 generasjoner) og hadde et fantastisk opphold hos Kåre. Det var enkelt og sjekke inn og masse plass til alle. Kåre har et flott hus med masse boltreplass både inne og ute. Fine soverom med gode senger. Alle i alderen 2-70 koste seg hele helgen og skulle gjerne vært lenger. Kåre var dessuten veldig behjelpelig og svarte raskt dersom vi hadde noen spørsmål og kunne rask øt komme dersom det var noe vi trengte hjelp med. Anbefaler virkelig å bo hos Kåre og kommer gjerne tilbake.😊

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Vikedal. This was, without doubt, one of the most pleasant vacations we ever spent. Not only because of the location and surroundings, but also because of your friendly and warm welcome.

Die Wohnung liegt weit oben am Berg, dadurch hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Fjord! Wohn- Ess- und Küche sind in einem Bereich. Die Schlafzimmer liegen ein Stockwerk tiefer und sind über eine etwas steile Treppe zu erreichen. Es ist absolut ruhig, manchmal hört man die am Ufer liegende Straße, was aber beim Schlafen überhaupt nicht stört. Der Fernseher hat nicht so gut funktioniert, es gibt keine Programme, nur eine Streaming Möglichkeit, aber der Ausblick ist sowieso viel schöner als jedes Fernsehprogramm!!! Der Balkon ist fantastisch und sehr gut ausgerüstet. Die Wohnung ist ungewöhnlich aber interessant dekoriert. Außer einem Wasserkocher und kleinen Messern hat uns in der Küche nichts gefehlt. Wir würden immer wieder in Egils Wohnung unsere Ferien verbringen.!

Liebevoll hergerichtetes traditionelles norwegisches Haus. Das Badezimmer ist komplett modern und neu - mit Regendusche. Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter und sehr regnerische Tage, haben das gemütliche Haus und große Sofa um so mehr für Lesezeit geschätzt. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge: Leuchtfeuer, Farsund, Wanderungen, … Gut zu wissen: Für große Menschen etwas Vorsicht bzgl. der niedrigen Türrahmen geboten. Nicht barrierefrei wegen der Türschwellen. Unser Hund liebte den Ausblick in den großen Garten - und wartete immer darauf, dass das Reh wieder vorbeikam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank fürs Teilen dieses schönen Ortes mit Gästen.

Hyggelig vert, rent, hyggelig og fint hus. Enkel innsjekk, nærhet til butikker og idrettsanlegg.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Es war alles perfekt. Genauso wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben und es auch auf den Fotos zu erkennen ist. Wer dem Alltag entfliehen will und die Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig.

Fantastic house, well suited to a family. Kids loved trampoline and apple trees in the backyard. Easy to catch bus into town. Andy was very responsive and gave us great tips during our stay.

Koselig hus sentralt i Stavanger. Ryddig og rent var det også. Instruksene og informasjonen mottatt på forhånd samt den gode tilstanden på huset gjorde at det trengtes veldig lite dialog. Takk for et veldig fint opphold. Kommer gjerne igjen.

What a view. I mean, WHAT A VIEW! The home is very comfortable and well stocked with necessary kitchen items and linens. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom hallway has a door at the end which creates excellent sound proofing between the sleeping area and the kitchen/living room. The back garden is absolutely exquisite (the owners run a gardening shop I believe - and it shows what talents they are!). The owners were also very nice when we accidentally checked out late - we had the checkout time wrong. But they were super cool and understanding. Oh, and did I mention the view??? Amazing! :-) The little town down the road (about ten minutes downhill and fifteen minutes uphill) is charming. There’s a nice cafe and two groceries. The beach (also about 10 min away) is dotted with Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and grills for public shared use. We really had a lovely time! I would definitely return again, and hope to do so soon. One note - there is a guest house on the same property that is also rented out. There’s a somewhat divided area of the garden for the guest house, so we barely noticed the other guests and it was no problem at all. But just wanted to note because we didn’t realize in advance.

Een prachtig huis op een geweldige lokatie. Welke kant je ook op kijkt er is altijd wat anders te zien. Besneeuwde bergtoppen, voorbij varende bootjes. Super. Oja de bedden slapen erg lekker.

We booked a house in Stein's for our wind turbine technicians. We spent three months there, Stein proved to be a wonderful host. Communication with him was always very fast and friendly. The house is as described and had everything our guys needed during their stay. They had a chance to relax and enjoy their time after work. I highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

One of our favorite Air B&Bs ever. Wonderful place, walking distance from downtown. Our hosts were great, proactive communicators and responsive to any questions. Their home is wonderful with an awesome kitchen and dining area as well as really nice outdoor spaces. Would definitely stay here again.
