James Bay, West Bay : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

We had an amazing stay at Timothy's place. Gorgeous spot on the bay with a beautifully located hot tub. Kitchen was fully stocked, and the place was the right mix of quirky and comfortable. The wood stove was perfect to keep us cozy in the evenings. Being dog friendly was an added perk! We would recommend and definitely stay again!

That view!!! The view is simply amazing. The house is clean, cozy, spacious, and we felt right at home. It was the perfect Christmas spot… they even had it decorated for the holiday which was a nice surprise! The kids loved all the toys and games in the hallway cabinet. The fireplace was so pleasant on Christmas night (but don’t worry, the home’s heating system worked great and we weren’t cold inside at all). A short drive to E Sooke Regional Park (we hiked to Creyke Point which the kids loved) and Sooke Potholes which was also beautiful. One of my favorite airbnbs and we have stayed in dozens of rental homes. Hope to come back!

Had a wonderful time at Liza's place. She was such a gracious host. From the thoughtful snacks she left for us upon arrival to the huge library she invited us to use. The amenities were fantastic including the hot tub that was easy to use. We really enjoyed this peaceful respite and look forward to coming back soon.

Jane's suite is a perfect place for those who work away from home or want some time off. Quiet, simple and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. Communication is efficient abd warm. I would book again.

Caroline's place is peaceful and beautiful - the perfect place to stay while exploring Victoria and all it has to offer. We loved sitting by the windows and watching the birds and boaters outside. Caroline was a helpful and gracious host. Wonderful place!

Had a lovely time at the skyview. The place has a very big open concept so great for families reuniting. The porch is very big and there is a small hot tub. Slightly smaller than expected but still a nice touch. The kitchen has everything you would ever need. And the location is beautiful. Would stay again.

We loved staying here. The house is great. The front porch, the side deck with grill and sun chairs and outdoor dining is great. The dock on the water is fabulous. Any specific questions or issues were addressed immediately. Its a really lovely spot. You can't do better on Shawnigan Lake!

Tina's place is a nice 3 level townhouse that was as advertised. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The location is excellent and is walkable to the stores, to Whiffin Spit and is close to lots of other walkable paths. Tina was friendly, texted us to ensure that we got checked in okay and asked if there was anything else that we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. I would recommend Tina's place to anyone looking for a relaxing place to get away.

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

Cozy private space in a safe and nice neighbourhood, close to a trail to walk the dog. Stay can be a bit on the noisier side with the highway on the other side of the bushes but did not bother us too much.

Wonderful getaway in gorgeous surroundings! We loved our three nights in late fall. We had a great view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympics, access to inspiring beaches, and a lovely cozy warm private place to stay. We enjoyed cooking up a feast in the kitchen, watching football on the TV, reading by the gas fireplace, and sleeping like logs in the quiet and calming environment. Fresh eggs and a chorus of sea lions each morning, beautiful stars at night. All around wonderful.

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

Lovely hosts and a lovely place to stay! Trish and Nick introduced us to the property and their 4 legged friends (goats, sheep, and Bella the golden retriever) who we instantly connected with - they are an absolute delight! We had everything we needed for breakfast, including great coffee!, and felt at home right away. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Thank you, Trish and Nick, for a wonderful weekend!

Our family absolutely loved the place! It was comfortable, peaceful and one of a kind. It even smelled lovely when we arrived, probably due to some fresh lavender bunches and the wood stove. John and Mel were very kind people and took the time to help our kids get comfortable with their dogs and goats. Our kids love animals and this was a really nice touch. I just wish we had visited in warmer weather so we could open the big roll up door and let the outside in. If we ever make it back this way, we'll come in the summer.

This place was perfect for our family of four. we easily felt comfortable and at home. Clean and well maintained. Easy to get to. check-in and check out were easy. Felt very secure. The location is wonderful, incredibly walkable. Close to everything. Would not hesitate to stay again!

It’s a beautiful place with an incredible view . Paul is straightforward and proactive. It’s a good price compared to Poet’s Cover and right next to the ferry terminal. If you come here I hope the following tips help so you can prepare accordingly: 1. There are some flies and ants inside the cabin. 2. There are absolutely no food items here so bring it ALL down to salt and pepper to coffee to cooking oil to shampoo 3. It’s a tight layout I would say it could fit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. 4. The pool is seasonal- it’s not open all year round 5. The hot water tank is on its way out or it’s small. It didn’t bother us as it was just my husband and I . It would be an issue for those more than 2 who want to take a bath or shower back to back.

This is our second stay at Paula’s and it is peaceful and serene. A real decompress kind of setting. Don’t hesitate to book this little gem!!

Whether we wanted to explore the vibrant town, hike scenic trails, or simply relax and soak in the tranquility, everything was conveniently within reach. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Gramma Rikki. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness made us feel like valued guests, and we truly appreciated their warm and welcoming spirit. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the island. We had a wonderful stay. Carlene was easy and quick to communicate such, the cottage had everything we needed, and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view. The resort the cottage is part of was helpful since we had our 10-year-old with us. The pool is a big reason we booked here, and the lawn games were an extra bonus we hadn’t expected. We even got to see an otter below the marina dock on our first day - a perfect sighting in Otter Bay!

Our stay here was truly amazing. We were in town for a family wedding which was fun but our stay at this beautiful oasis made it an even more memorable time. We loved all the various spaces available which provided ample space for all of our family (6 of us) to hang out together or just find a cozy space to read and relax. The home is very well appointed and stocked (kitchen supplies & equipment, toiletries, linens, towels) - everything you could think of needing was there. We were nervous about using the pizza oven but Louis and Tasha walked us through how to use it and our home made pizzas were a huge hit! The back yard was indeed a relaxing retreat with the waterfall and natural swim pond, including beautiful vegetation and flowers. The privacy of the space made you forget you were in the city! Our hosts definitely anticipated our every need. Pride of ownership was certainly evident. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Victoria!

We had a fantastic stay at Jane's place! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great visit. Jane was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to check in earlier than the scheduled time, which was a huge help. The location was perfect, and we felt right at home.
